Feb 8, 2010I know *how* to do this, by going to "get info", and I have done it before. But, for some reason I *can't* actually do it anymore. When I select a group of songs to change info on, it acts like its going to work but then does nothing. When I select a single item, the get info tab is completely grayed out, nothing can be clicked on or changed. I have tried checking the song outside of iTunes to make sure it isn't read only or anything and I haven't found any issues with that. None of these should have any copy protection, they've all been ripped from cd or downloaded.
The only way I have been able to change anything so far is to convert the mp3 to AAC. I really don't want to have to convert the whole library. What is wrong with this?? How do I fix it?

Apr 28, 2009I have song compilation albums in itunes. I prefer to seach by Artist, not album. Compilation albums often assign a different artist for each song. I don't like this, as I end up with thousands of artists, each with only one song! Here's an example:
I copy "Classical Chillout" compilation album to itunes. 30 songs show up, each with their own (new) artist name, song name, and all within the album "Classical Chillout.
Instead of having:
SONG Adagio for Strings
ARTIST Samuel Barber
ALBUM Classical Chillout
I want to batch rename all songs so that the Album name becomes the Artist and each "Artist" name is inserted into the "Song" name
SONG Samuel Barber- Adagio for Strings
ARTIST Classical Chillout
ALBUM Classical Chillout

Oct 22, 2010I have a clip of a background moving to the right that will be projected in the background of a play in order to give the feel of motion in a train. I want the clip to start off with a still shot and then accelerate as if the train first is still and then accelerates until reaching full speed (which is the normal speed of the clip).
I know how to change the speed of a clip by going to "Clip adjustments", but I don't want to change the pace of the whole clip, I want the speed to increase gradually. I tried to mark short parts of the clip and then change their speed to increase gradually, but that is too rough. Isn't there any "acceleration effect" built-in?

Dec 2, 2010I know you can use iTunes dj to "play song next" or whatever but I don't like iTunes DJ for the fact that you don't have 100% control over what songs are playing if you want to pinpoint certain songs, etc..
Is there any way that I can line up a song to play after the current song without interrupting the current song and immediately playing the song I want next?

Oct 31, 2010I recently purchased The 99 Darkest Pieces of Classical Music from Amazon. Yeah, it's sucky MP3, but it was free and I'm not a big classical music buff. I have the Album Artist field empty, and every track marked as "Part of a Compilation". So far so good. When I go to change the Artist field of any track, to fix a misspelling or capitalization error, for example, that track is instantly dragged out of the track listing for 99 Darkest and into its own album, with the album name being Unknown Album. This despite the track still being marked as Part of a Compilation. If I restore the original spelling, the track is dragged back into 99 Darkest's list. It's not like iTunes to maintain state like that. What's happening and how do I fix it?

Final Cut Pro X :: Convert 50p To 25p Without Speed Change
Dec 4, 2014I have got a bit of a complex shoot coming up. I am filming a one-shot video. There are a few sections which slow down to half speed and a few that go to double. I am filming it at 50p, so when I edit, I can halve the speed to get a nice slo mo at 25p is great for some moments and then have some of it running at 'real time' and then double the speed for the other parts. Â
The issue is that I don't want the other two sections (the 'real time' and double speed) to be at 50p and 100p respectively. Is there any way I can convert those sections to 25p, so it all ends up at 25p?Â

May 4, 2009Have spent many years with PCs, I can't get used to the speed of the cursor in the programs I use - web forms, emails, Pages etc. I don't mean the blink rate - I know how to change that. I mean the speed at which I can scan across lines of text. The cursor seems slower than my xp machines. What setting might I have missed? I don't recall being able to change the rate of movement across the lines in an xp machine.
