iTunes keeps saying my credit card's security code is wrong when I am entering the correct one everytime? I definitely have enough money on my card, and it hasn't been cancelled.

why does itunes keep saying my credit card security code is wrong when it let me make a purchase the same day from the same account

iPhone 4S, Mac OS X (10.6.6)
The app store/itunes won't let me download any apps because it tells me I have an invalid credit card security code. The security code is valid and my address and everything is correct.
View 1 Replies View RelatedI'm trying to make an iTunes Store account with my mother's MasterCard. Everything in the setup process goes well until I hit the part when I must enter in my three-digit security code. I do so, then proceed. iTunes won't proceed because it appears I have not entered a valid security code. But the problem is, it is in fact valid: I've used it before for other things and it works fine. I've triple-checked; it's kinda hard to incorrectly type a three-digit number.
Why is it saying that my security code is invalid but its not? I owe money but I have money in my account but it wont take my card?

I can enter it as much as I want but I keep getting this note that says my Security Code is invalid. HOW?? It's right there on the back of the card, but it also says what I entered doesn't match the bank records. I just don't get it.
View 5 Replies View RelatedI,ve been using the same credit card for some time now. But now all of the sudden it says my security number is wrong. All of the information on my account is correct, i have not changed anything. I tried using another card as well with the same effect.

I have problems to approve my Mac from another device. There is a request for the Security Code to turn on the iCloud key chain. Where do I find the security code? I do not recall being issued one or making up a code.

View 1 Replies View RelatedI installed Snow Leopard on my mother's MacBook at the weekend and, after updating the software, I immediately logged into the Mac App Store, with her AppleID to buy Lion.I used my credit card to pay for it.I saw earlier today that when she logs onto the Mac App Store it welcomes me instead of her.I assume this is because of the name on the credit card, but I want to ensure that the Lion OS is indeed in my mother's name and not mine - registered to her AppleID.I was going to upgrade to Lion myself later in the week and I don't want there to be any confusion between the two purchases.Does the Lion purchase belong to the AppleID, irregardless of who pays for it?
View 1 Replies View RelatedI got given the code for a £15 App Store voucher (from a trusted source, I should add!) and when I go to redeem the code, it doesn't work. I've confirmed that it's a valid UK code, but still nothing.

I put my itunes dollars into itunes thinking I could use it to buy the Lion App and when I went to down load it asked for the money then. Is there a way to take the money from my itunes account?

I got the wrong epost adress in appstore update, It's an unknown adress for me or my acquintances. I've tried to log off and on again, from both the appstore and the Itunes store. This doesn't work. It's no problem when buying apps from the appstore, but it's mayhem when updating my software.

View 4 Replies View RelatedThis has happened over the past few days. I've attempted to make new purchases both in the App Store and on iTunes. I'm queried for my Apple ID, then I'm asked to enter three new security questions and answers. When I complete this step, I receive a message that the App Store (or iTunes, depending on where I am) is "temporarily unable to process" my request and to try later. I've even reset my Apple ID password, logged out, logged back in, and attempted a purchase, but to no avail. I've run into the same problem attempting to purchase new apps on my iPhone and iPad as well. Updates to previously-purchased apps work, but not new purchases.Â

I am trying to reset security question and answer for my Apple Account. I can authenticate with my own appId/password but I am stuck with resetting my security question/answer. I forgot my original security question/answer. How do I reset them?Â
View 5 Replies View RelatedI recently got a letter from apple that my apple ID birthdate/security questions & answers had been changed. I think this was because of a previous letter that told me I had to update my account with the new security features, but I don't recall.Â
Anyway, I decided to check on the appleID site, got logged in, changed my password successfully, but I couldn't see how to change the security questions or answers - and the answers I did try submitting weren't accepted.Â
So now I'm stuck: my account is OK, my password is OK, but I can't remember the security answers and can't see how to change them.Â

when I try to update my billing information the software adds additional digits to my zip code. This is all fine and dandy, it matches to where I live. But my bank only uses the standard five digits and when it adds the additional digits they will not match up correctly despite the first five being matched. This causes an endless and stupidly frustrating cycle that I cannot solve. I tried to find a phone number to call and sort this out but of course that doesn't exist.

View 3 Replies View RelatedWas updating some iOS apps, when the App Store (assuming it was the app store), requested my password a second time, and then proceeded to request security questions and answers..It looked like pushing, and since I'd not heard of Apple instituting this procedure I elected not to input the information.Feedback submitted to Apple on this..
