I got the wrong epost adress in appstore update, It's an unknown adress for me or my acquintances.I've tried to log off and on again, from both the appstore and the Itunes store. This doesn't work. It's no problem when buying apps from the appstore, but it's mayhem when updating my software.

How can this be cleared up so that it appears as all the other apps do (installed)?

I want to update an app on my iphone but my daughter's email comes up. I don't know her password how do I restore my phone to my identity. I have an IPAD, IMAC & IPHONE and Mac book Air in my household. I can update apps on everything but the IPHONE. I notice that the IPHONE shows one of my old email address so my password does not work. All of my other devices has the correct email address associartedl with the app store, and icloud. How do I correct my iphone to show the correct email so that the password will work? i can find no place to correct the email address for the app store on my iphone.

I got a new MacBook Pro (very happy!) and it came with iPhoto and Garage Band. I had not upgraded before, so these were 'new' for me. They seem to have been added to my Apple account - they appear as 'purchased' in the App Store, But when I try to update them, I get this message:"You have updates available for other accounts" and "To update this application, sign in to the account you used to purchase it."

I have just purchased a Macbook pro and have just seen on the Apps icon on the screen that I have 2 updates available, one for garageband and the other for iphoto. I tried logging in using my apple ID username and password but I keep getting an error message stating:"You have updates available for other accounts. To update this application, sign in to the account you used to purchase it."I googled the apple ID error and it led me to the apple support side where I could find out if I had multiple apple ID's linked to the same email address.
It came back with 3 accounts linked to my email address.I have found the username's for all 3 accounts and changed the passwords to all the same and then tried to log in to Apps on the macbook but can't seem to do it. I was wondering if it's possible to delete Apple ID's so I only have one account. What I have noticed is that when using my iphone the old app's I have to log into my old Apple ID to download up-dates, whereas the newer apps on my phone I have to use my email address as the username.

I installed the Mavericks 10.9.4 Update a couple of months ago, and it has reappeared in the App Store. I went ahead and reinstalled just in case there was a legitimate issue with my files, but the update continues to appear in the App Store updates section. Rebooting does nothing to change matters. Messages for one of the addresses comes in via the wrong inbox and I dont know why.I have 4 inboxes displaying in the left hand (mailbox) pane, under inboxes, but only 3 seem to be working properly. I have only 3 accounts displayed in the left hand pane under the inboxes.I do however receive messages, and am able to send, from all four addresses.I need to separate out the accounts and get the fourth account in the mailbox pane, but dont know how. my colleague has set up an email account on his macbook pro 10.7 and when he sends an email out the recipients see the email address as glen with one n rather than glenn. so when people reply they send to something that is not there and get a return to sender. This is strange as the sent address in the settings is glenn not glen.
This isn't a server issue as it is on his work imac g5 computer and sends correctly. It must be an error when putting the info in but I can't see where. it is an outlook Exchange mail server and not with our company so i can't look at the settings in that.is there a simple way to sort this out or, if not how can I remove the email account, set it up again but retain the old emails?

When my ISP changed from Patmedia to Comcast I changed all my iCal notifications to my new email address. I deleted all references to my old address in Address Book on my computer and on the Mobil Me Address Book as well as deleting the address in Previous Recipients in Mail. I am getting mail from "postmaster@mac.com" that it can't deliver mail to my old mail address. So iCal is still trying to send a reoccurring reminder to this addressfrom somewhere. My Softward Update and App Store repeatedly "crash unexpectedly" (along with Dashboard, Finder and a whole host of other applications).
I have tried everything but it seems there is no way I can use either of them.
As a result, I haven't been able to update anything for months and my OSX is now thoroughly screwed up.
Is there any way I can update OSX without using Softward Update or App Store? Is there an update file I can download without having to go through them?
I'd prefer not to resort to OSX Restore as I don't want have my Microsoft Office product key.
