i have a brand new MBP 2012 and if i push down on the bottom right of the space bar it sticks out over the frame and stops me from completely pushing it down.

Since the new line of MBP I have fallen more and more in love with the black frame around the display on these MBP. Feels like the display is much easier for the eyes.
Do anyone know if it is possible to buy a skin/coverfoil/etc to cover on the alu frame around my MBA display?I have found a lot of pages/webshops that provide skin for the front/back and trackpad, but nothing for the frame around the display.
'm using my MBA to watch movies on my fullhd TV.
I use the dvi interface to connect to it at 1920 x 1080.
The problem is about the frame rate that after 10 / 15 minutes of flawless palying, drops consistently. I've tried VLC and QT with Perian but the problem is the same.
The only way I can use it, is activate the mirroring function and keep the resolution to 1280 x 800.
The strange fact is that the cpu is quite free and the temperature never goes more than 62 celsius.
I think that the problem could be an overheting of the video adapter. The fan, while I watch movies, is stick to 6200 rpm.
I'm about to get the new MacBook Pro with an anti-glare screen. As I like the black frame of the glossy screens a lot more, I would like to know If you know about any replacement parts or any other ideas to get the black frame on a anti-glare screen. I thought about a kind of a sticker that you could attach over the silver bezel.

My shift key also appears to be stuck so holding the Option key when booting up to choose a start up disk isn't an option (it doesn't work). I do not currently have access to an external keyboard. Once connected it asked whether i want to create a password and whether i want my data encrypted, to which i answered yes. Then a time machine backup started and failed after backing up 5.25 GB out of 39 GB of my data with the following error: "The backup disk ran out of space unexpectedly. Time Machine will try to make more space available by removing expired backups during the next scheduled backup". When i look at time machine it shows there is 994.29 GB available on iomega ego drive. The drive then went into: "Encrypting Backup Disk" message and it takes forever.

I have the MacBook Pro 2010 13" and recently I've noticed my disc space is slowly decreasing with use.
Im not downloading files or anything, but today I lost around 600 MB of space, I just kept opening my Finder to discover less and less disc space each time.
Is this normal or do I have a problem, this is the first time I've noticed it in the month and a half I've owned the machine.
Just quite surprised and then not at the same time that my 11.6 has just 46gbs after a fresh install of leopard. Can't fit anything on there! Looking at my migration assistant, I won't be able to transfer a lot of my applications over. Anyone who wants to do some video work, bootcamping, or photoshopping/editing shouldn't even look at a 64gb. An ultimate 11" seems to be a must for the harddrive space and the 4gb of ram.

Now however I'm only getting 30 or less sometimes and it's only using 38% of the CPU whereas before it was using like 90-95%. I haven't changed anything.

I have h.264 footage from smartphone with 29.8 fps (container mp4) and converting to ProRes via Compressor i have the issue as follows:
1. If i set automatic fps in Compressor to 30fps, converted footage to ProRes playbacks smoothly.

2. If i set automatic fps near original 29.97 fps, converted footage to ProRes playbacks stutters (especially if you pay attention to the part of footage, where child is going toward a house wall).

However, if I repeat the same processes in Adobe Encoder, footage playbacks smoothly in both cases:

It does not matter which type of ProRes i choose, problem persists in all of them under 29.97 fps.

It's somewhat visible.I tried to clean it off but it looks like the "paint" is sanded etc. Should I return it or keep it? I got master which is HD 1920 x 1080 prores then convert it to 720 x 480 widescreen then compressing it to m2v. Notice pixels appear every 1 frame between 13 frames last about 15 sec on m2v. Why is that? Is there other compressor program than apple compressor. I use Compressor 3.5.3.
