I tried to update itunes but keep getting the message download corupted. Try later to download the update. I have tried 5 times. I looked for the corupted download to delete but could not find it. What is the best way to proceed?
Cropped up in which an update will become available and I tell iTunes to update the app, it downloads it, I go back to the app page and the icon refreshes, I then see iTunes telling me that theres still an update. I clicked on the 1 update available link thing and low and behold the application I just updated is still saying theres an update and no matter how many times I click update all apps it will still say theres an update. It has been like this for the last few days now. Is this Apples problem with there server or a problem with my Macbook?.
I just bought a new MacBook and I'm updating the software (ironic). The issue is that both software update and iTunes are saying there is a new version, but it won't finish the download. "The update could not be verified. It may have been corrupted during downloading. The update will be downloaded and checked again the next time that Software Update runs." There is a note at the bottom that iTunes: Partially Downloaded (22%)I've rebooted twice, and I have looked in the download folder, but I can not find this partially downloaded file
I tried to download the sofware update for itunes 10.6.3 for my MacBook Pro, but as soon as the download begins, it stops and I get an error message saying: "The update 'iTunes' can't be installed", and also "The update could not be verified..." and so on. How can I get the software update to download then?
I have Dropbox installed and an update became available. I click on "Update all Apps" and a recurring alert box comes up asking if I want to "Download for free? with text, "This item will be added to your Purchases, and will be available even if your Family Sharing status changes.'" 'When I click "Download" the same alert box keeps reappearing and the file is never downloadedl.
While trying to restart after downloading an iTunes update, my computer won't go past the grey screen with the apple and loading bar. When I hit command+s it says my system bootstrapper crashed. I've repaired the disk and disk permissions and it still won't load.

Last night I decided to update to iTunes 9.1.1, via the software update prompt. It prompted me to restart my computer (laptop, Windows Vista). I proceeded to do so, but it got hung up in the log off screen for over 15 minutes. I turned off the computer and came back into the desktop. Tried to load iTunes, but it wouldn't load anymore. Tried to reinstall the software update, but now it's searching for a .msi file that I have no idea about? Anyone have any input as how I can resolve this, and have I lost all of my music in iTunes at this point?
Im just curious if its a good idea to download itunes software from a site not affiliated with apple? Should i worry about glitches and problems or is it a pretty common thing? Just let me know what you think.
Recently the songs I puchase from Itunes store will not download to my computer. I keep getting an error message... something about check my internet connection. I can download purchased songs on my other Apple devices on the same network. So I think there is something wrong with my settings.

If I create a smart playlist in itunes and deselect live updating then how exactly does the smart playlist load up?
The reason I ask is that started setting up Smart Playlists for all of the artists on my computer and they're all set to live update which is consequently slowing down my itunes. I realize that I may not necessarily need that. My question is though...how exactly would I go about manually updating a smart playlist that has live updating turned off?
I was importing cds to itunes. Everything was fine and then when I inserted the next cd to import, nothing happened. No message asking if I wanted to import the cd. My friend thinks it is a memory issue, but I said why wouldn't a message appear saying memory full---that would certianly be the way to go.
This error message on my 15" macBook Pro recently appeared and blocks my access to all my music. I have downloaded the itunes updates and still get this message.
When you open iTunes the screen will pop up with this followed message:The item you asked is not available in the ****store. But it is weird I didn't bought a thing or asked for something?..And the other thing there is also a message that you have to log in everytime. Also annoying for iCloud. This 2 things never happened before..Â
In just this past week I am unable to open iTunes on my Mac Book Pro9. I do not get an error message, it simply just says 'Application Not Responding' when right clicked in the dock. I have updated to OS X Mavericks 10.9.4 a few months ago, and it has been working fine up until about a week ago. I've tried rebooting my MAC and I've just updated to iTunes to 11.3.1 today but it still won't open. Â
I just bought my MacBook Pro and installed the updates... however, when I try to update my iTunes (since it says version 10.6.3 is available) but when it's almost done I get a message stating it can't be installed because the "update cannot be verified". How do I upgrade my MacBook to the latest iTunes?
