Mar 3, 2012have a working email address for iTunes / iBooks support?We've been trying to upload books through iTunes Producer and have never had a confirmation that the books have been approved.After waiting a month,we emailed ibookstore@apple.com a few weeks ago but have never heard back.I've been told that Apple take ages to deal with customers but I think 4 weeks is long enough.

Jun 21, 2014I'm trying to run iTunes Match and it simply stalls at stage 1. Yes, I believe I've tried the fixes listed in other places where this seems to have been an ongoing issue since launch - and not all of these work for the people there, either. These include removing stoping and starting Match, stopping and starting Genius, stopping and starting Genius and Match, moving the iTunes Library files and reimporting them as new libraries and so on. Nothing is working for me.
I run iTunes match and it matches "most" of my songs and then stalls. I've left it for days to see how long the stall is and it never clears.Over the last few days' stops and starts, it's matched as follows:

iTunes frequently also can't access the iTunes Store or comes up with unknown errors.this is an entirely new music library. I set up my Mac from scratch a few months ago with a new SSD. My music library had a lot of old files sampled at low bit rates - I was re-ripping to flac for my hifi, so I decided to re-rip to iTunes as well at the same time (my previous iTunes Match had lots of stuff it couldn't match, but was uploaded at a low bit rate since that was all that was available). My network connection is wired and I have very good broadband (cable) speed.

ITunes For Mac :: Errors With Servers And Searching For Track Names?
Dec 1, 2014I've been having lots of trouble getting itune to work smoothly, having lots of error messages. It frequently says things like" iTunes can’t verify the identity of the server “init.itunes.apple.com”." and other variants with different web addresses. Mostly when I'm trying to use the itunes store. And I've bought a CD recently and when I try to load it at search for the track names it makes the error noise, and a window flashes up saying (ironically ) "no error". This same album is on the itunes store to purchase.

MacBook Pro :: Frequent Crashing When ITunes Loaded - No Errors In Console?
Jun 17, 2012I have an early 2011 17" MacBook Pro which is freezing up a lot, this only seems to happen with iTunes is loaded. The machine runs perfectly when iTunes isn't running, and it'll run for a little while when it is open, but then eventually all programs will freeze, leaving only the cursor moving. That will then stop moving as well and the entire machine will stay stuck as it is - the only thing that can be done at this point is to power it off. Closing the lid has no effect - the screen stays on and the machine does not sleep.
I've tried various things to fix this based on other threads with similar issues:
- Reset SMC and PRAM
- Reinstalled iTunes
- Disabled automatic graphic card switching
- Installed all latest updates - this seems to have made the problem worse
- Stopped my iPod touch and iPhone from syncing over wifi and made sure they aren't plugged in either
- Ran AHT, no problems reported
- Repaired disk permissions
- Reinstalled Mac OS
- Left the machine in its frozen state to see if it would wake up (it didn't, even after leaving it all night)
Every time this happens, I have a look at the Console to see if any errors were logged during the crash, but it seems there aren't any - the last few lines before reboot are always different and seem to have no real pattern to them.

Jun 29, 2012I had purchaser the single of the Payphone from iTunes and when the album was released I did a "Complete my Album" purchase of the same Album. iTunes won't play the single when palying the album. It is not shown as being in the album at all, even the track number is omited. How can I get that single to play in order when selecting the Album without creating a special playlist just for this album. I thought when you did a "Complete my album" it would do just that not omit it from the album and keep the single as a separate track.

Feb 22, 2012I downloaded some new music apps for my iPhone 3GS today, only to find that some wouldn't sync to my iPhone. After much messing around I realised that some needed iOS 4.2 or above - mine is stuck on 4.1 at the moment.
When clicking on 'Update' in iTunes (9.2.1) nothing happened. So does that mean, this version can't support iOS 5 devices?
I tried then downloading the latest version of iTunes but of course it wouldn't install on my ageing G5 Quad which is stuck on OS 10.4.11, as it can't run the latest OS.
So it seems I'm stuck in an upgrade loop here. But if I upgrade the phone to iOS 5 from another computer - is it possible that I can still sync successfully from my old version of iTunes or not?
I had planned to upgrade my computer this year anyway but it's such a shame we are forced into it in this way. The computer itself still runs just fine but will likely just be heading for the recycling centre due to the abandonment of Power PC software/emulation.

Jun 11, 2012I also have a $10,000+ stereo system, using a Linn Digital Streamer. My entire music collection is in FLAC, much of it in 24-bit, 192khz. I'd love to buy the new MacBook Pro and use iTunes to manage this collection (as FLAC is the accepted standard for downloadable hi-res music). Unfortunately there STILL isn't FLAC support in iTunes. Looks like I'll have to purchase a Dell XPS instead.

Dec 4, 2009I recently installed Snow Leopard. It works faster than before and it gave me 8GB of space back. But, after looking through Applications in system profiler, I found out iTunes is not 64-bit unlike Safari and other native applications that have been re-written to 64-bit. I remember Apple said iTunes is also re-written. I must download a new version or it's included in an update (I'm waiting the 10.6.2 update to download at the moment)?

ITunes :: Errors When Transferring Music From External HD To External HD
Jun 15, 2012I wasn't sure whether to put this post it iTunes (since all my music is played in iTunes) or in Mac Lion.I purchased a new external HD because my old one is about to fail. However, the old one is working fine right now. I have both HD's plugged in to my laptop. I am trying to transfer the music files from one to the other. But the copying gets stuck, and after several minutes, says one of the over 1,000 songs has an error and the copying is stopped. Without choosing a few songs at a time and copying that way, and then removing the file the error message shows, which will take a long time, is there any work around for this?
