ITunes :: Some Albums Not Syncing To IPad 2 Playlist
May 25, 2012
At least two of my albums in my library refuse to stay on playlists I build both on iPad, and my MBA and MBP notebooks.At first, I created the playlist on iPad from my Songs list but when I synced to my MBP, they disappeared off the playlist (but still appear in my songs/music library). I rebuilt the playlist on iPad and synced to my MBA and the same thing happened.Not to be daunted, I created the playlist on each of my notebooks and synced, and each time the same albums would disappear off the synced iPad playlists (but still appear in the Songs/Music library and on my MBA/MBP playlists).Any ideas why certain albums will not sync to a playlist? Both albums with this problem were purchased as CDs then imported into iTunes.
My IPhone has a large number of albums on it and not all of those albums are in my desktop iTunes Music Library. How do I move albums from the iPhone to iTunes or sync it so the music on the iPhone ends up in the iTunes Music Library? This happened when my desktop went down and I ran iTunes on my laptop and loaded music on to the laptop iTunes Library then onto the iPhone.
I some local internet streams which I listen to, when I added them a long time ago I couldn't add them to the itunes radio tab :-( but created a playlist.I would like to have those streams available on my laptop but since there is no "music" it does not sync. Is there a way to do this? It would be nice to have them on the idevices as well but there i just use a radio app.Â
I have been encountering a current issue that I find to be alarming, and want to know if anyone else knows how to remedy the issue. I have OS X Lion and all my software is up to date; I have an iPad 2 and it is also up to date. There has been an issue when I try to sync my music from iTunes to my iPad. It gets to the final stage of syncing, and then the music starts to download, and then it will only download a couple songs onto the iPad and then the computer will freeze. It forces me to completely shut down my computer, and it is really concerning me now. The whole computer is moving completely slow, almost to the point where a simple click on an application causes the rainbow spinning wheel.
I have several music videos in my iTunes library and for some reason they are no longer syncing to my iPad.They show in iTunes on my computer, and all my music syncs, but the videos do not show in the music location on my iPad, or in the video folder for my iPad. In the past they would show up in video icon, but now they no longer do.
iTunes 10.6 quits when syncing iphone 3g or ipad 2 on imac with os 10.7.3. iTunes seems to work OK until syncing one of the two devices is in progress.
Crashes with ipad when syncing by wifi or usb cable.
I am running iTunes 11.2.2 on Mac OS 10.9.3. I experience an issue with iTunes becoming unresponsive when either my iphone 5s (fully updated) and ipad 4th gen (fully updated) attempts to sync either wirelessly or with the cord. I have went through the apple trouble shooting and came up with no solution. I've also reinstalled iTunes with no luck. I am not able to transfer purchases or backup either device on my mac, including iBooks. Â
I'm using iTunes 10.5.3 (3) on Mac OS X 10.7.3 When I drag and drop music from my iTunes library onto the iPad the iPad will first start to 'sync' but I'll notice that it immediately starts to try and sync up all of my music (I have more music than I have space on my iPad so that would just fail eventually but it starts the slow wi-fi sync of all my music). I check the settings for the iPad (via iTunes) and I notice that the Music tab's "sync" option has suddenly been enabled again (when I've previously turned it off).Â
This is very strange and annoying as all I want to do is copy music from iTunes onto my iPad. I can do this no problem with my iPhone (has the same sync settings turned off and that doesn't re-enable the sync setting when I drag and drop music from iTunes to it? The only difference from my iPad is that i have the apps tab 'sync' option turned on - see P.s below for more on that)Â
if I turn off syncing of apps for my iPad I get a message that tells me 22 apps will be deleted and that all data will be lost as well. I'm assuming because some apps I've paid for and some are free I'll be able to re-download them no problem, it's just that some apps have extra settings/configurations on them that I'd rather not lose and I just don't see how turning off the 'sync' option would affect them? Just leave them on the iPad device and stop trying to sync them with iTunes??

I have recently formatted my computer and put all my mp3s back on from my backup on time machine. I am now trying to transfer a playlist to my ipod touch but not all songs are syncing from the playlist? I have authorised the computer for my purchases. Any ideas?
I'm putting together a huge selection of reggae and island music for a luau and was wondering if, when I transfer the playlist to my iPod Touch, if it will keep the order of the songs or rearrange them to alphabetical. I'd like to keep the order I put it in, not alphabetical. Thoughts?
I am trying to sync my contacts and my ical from my mac to my iphone and my ipad. It gives message that there is not enough storage. Can I really be using 5 gigs to sync only contacts and ical? I only have 198 cards in contacts and the ical is what I would say as average on entries.Â
I have just set up my new Macbook Pro using migrate. All good but dropbox is now not syncing with my iPad. I have done some basic checks but what to try now.
I use mail app on my Mac Pro to view my gmail account, now with iCloud how do I sync my mail on my mac pro, iPhone, & iPad so they are all updated as one account. Currently I my mail on my iPhone and iPad update with each, but my mail on my Mac Pro does not. I thought when I updated to Lion I would be able to use iCloud to solve this problem, but it has not.
I have an MacBook Pro with 10.5.8, iMac with 10.7.3, iPhone 4S and the new iPad. My problem is that I want to sync my emails with all my devices (like google email) but I cant do it properly because my work email is a POP server. Changing my email server to IMAP is not a option currently.
I'm running Yosemite on Mac and iOS 8.1.1 on iPad and iPhone. When i setup Messages on my Mac a couple of months ago all conversations were synced up between all 3 devices. i've continued many of those conversations on my iPad and iPhone but when I opened Messages on my Mac today i noticed that they had stopped syncing about 2 weeks ago. Now when i try to send a message from my Mac it sends it as SMS not as iMessage. how to correct both the SMS issue but more importantly the sync?Â
I have the Australin app called Ninenewsbreak and the app works well on my iphone4 BUT the sound won't work on my iPad.
I have uninstalled and reinstalled it 3 times and still no sound. This app is for the iPhone and iPad according to the advert in the app store. The sound works great on the iPad for other apps downloaded.Â
I noticed this about a year ago. So, there are some songs that I cannot play in iTunes, on either my laptop or home computer. However, I can play them on my iPhone 3GS and my 3rd Generation iPod after being sync'd. A friend thought that it was perhaps these songs/albums were not "official" Apple iTunes downloads or not direct downloads from CDs. This is not correct, random songs from random mp3 sources including iTunes (Apple iTunes Store), and even complete albums (from CDs) are affected. Why is this? how can I correct this?
I checked complete my album just now and saw these two albums. Who the * is Yanni? I did not purchase these and the weird thing is, they aren't in my recent purchases nor did they appear in any receipts I was emailed. Is iTunes screwing with me?
My iTunes 9 is making my songs not organize correctly by album. Most of the songs are grouped together in my library that are of the same album, but one album has separated songs. They are the exact same album and spelled correctly. I just bought them off iTunes and was looking for them in my library and couldn't find them when I looked at the rest of the album. I look farther down the list, and way farther down they appear. Album name is correct, but I guess iTunes just decided to not place them with the rest of the songs in the album in alphabetical order it should. My iPod touch lists the same albums multiple times when I search for albums. The album "classical" shows up almost 10 times in the list for some reason. The song list doesn't differ b/w them, and some songs are missing. All other albums are fine. What is going on here? Did my classical songs all of a sudden decide to become unique in a bad way?
I made sure that all tags were the same, including album artwork, and I edited all of the album's information at the same time so that it would be the same. But still iTunes seems to see these guys as two separate albums.
I've just found out that I can not properly put my music on both iPhone 4S and iPad (iOS 5.1).
try do the following and place the result here whether you see same behavior.
Steps:
1. Enable Manual sync on you iOS device;
2. Drag and Drop any album from your library to iPhone -> songs start to transfer;
3. Now, while songs are transfering get another album and drop it to your iPhone;
4. ISSUE IS THAT: you should notice that the transfer of the first album is interrupted and the latest album is transferring ONLY;
So, at the end you have just several songs from first album and all songs from the second one. So, basically each new album you drag and drop interrupts previous transfer.
I would like to purchase music from the French i-tunes store. The music is not available in the US store. I was told I have to be a resident of France, with a French Credit Card and adderss. Seems rediculous in a world market to not allow electronic download purchases across the pond. At the very least the French artists should be listed on the us site too. I suspect the "cloud" has plenty of room.

After years of downloading single songs from iTunes, today I downloading an entire album. I thought that a Playlist would be created for this album, but itwasn't. So I manually created a playlist with the album name and then added all the songs. Is this the correct way? Or did I do something wrong? Is there a way to download an entire album into a playlist of the same name?
Having transferred my iTunes library from my old PC to my new Mac. Many of the albums will not play because they are not authorized. Authorization lists very old email addresses of which I do not have the passwords or, in fact, access to the email websites.
To free up space on my Mac os x Leopard I want to download my iTunes albums to a flash drive.and then delete them from my computer. How do I do this without losing the albums? I'm not quite sure how to copy then download.
