I have recently formatted my computer and put all my mp3s back on from my backup on time machine. I am now trying to transfer a playlist to my ipod touch but not all songs are syncing from the playlist? I have authorised the computer for my purchases. Any ideas?

I would like to be able to have iCal and Address Book synced together so when I edit/change information on any of the three devices, the other two devices will be updated the next time it's synced with the ipod or computer. I do not want the music to be shared, because I'm trying to keep the eMac hard drive lean to keep it running as quickly as possible.

Just upgraded to the iPhone OS 3.0 on my 1st gen iPod Touch and when I turn the volume up whilst it's in the iPod Hi-Fi, the volume dips when I've finished turning it up... When I push the volume up again the volume slider on the iPod touch then moves down to where it dipped.it's quite hard to explain! Basically, when I turn the volume up to 50%, the sound dips to 25%.... the slider still shows 50% until I press the volume up button and it would move the slider to 25%. (If I wanted to play my music at 50% I would have to turn it up to 75% and wait for it to dip to 50%!)I have reset the iPod touch and restored it but the problem still exists. OS 1.0 and 2.0 didn't have this problem. Does this happen to anyone else? Is there a solution?

I was trying to move some iTunes files when I realized that my 2nd Generation iPod Touch was not being recognized on the Desktop or Finder. The catch is that iTunes did know my iPod was hooked up. I spoke on the phone with applecare and was able to restore the touch but neither the laptop or itunes will even recognize it's there. However, applecare is closed now and i would really like to be able to use it for work tomorrow.
I know my usb ports work, i've tried 3 different cables, tried restarting the touch , the ipod touch charges but since it's new the startup screen telling me to plug it into the computer, is all i can access on the touch. I just updated itunes and restarted my mbp and still nothing.

Can we run our applications from our iPod touch on our MacBook Pro? I have several games on my iPod I would like to be able to play on my MacBook. At least two of my albums in my library refuse to stay on playlists I build both on iPad, and my MBA and MBP notebooks.At first, I created the playlist on iPad from my Songs list but when I synced to my MBP, they disappeared off the playlist (but still appear in my songs/music library). I rebuilt the playlist on iPad and synced to my MBA and the same thing happened.Not to be daunted, I created the playlist on each of my notebooks and synced, and each time the same albums would disappear off the synced iPad playlists (but still appear in the Songs/Music library and on my MBA/MBP playlists).Any ideas why certain albums will not sync to a playlist? Both albums with this problem were purchased as CDs then imported into iTunes.

View 3 Replies View RelatedI bought Myst from the app store on my iPod last night, and when I plugged it into my computer, it attempted to sync Myst to it but it wouldn't make any progress. Was taking an impossible amount of time, so I canceled it. Now iTunes won't recognize it. I can't see it in Disk Utility either (although I'm not sure that is possible)
Anyway, I've tried restarting iTunes and the iPod and neither has resulted in success. Ideas?
I plug in my iPod Touch and it always opens iPhoto. I took off photo syncing with iTunes and did nothing. I have iPhoto v6.0.6 and I could not find a "disable sync" anywhere in the preferences. I fond the application image capture but when I open it, nothing happens (the menu switches for a split second from finder to image capture then back to finder). I heard you can disable it through image capture but since the program seems to be faulty and does not open so I dont know what to do.

View 4 Replies View RelatedI press the power button to put the screen of my iPod to sleep and nothing happens, I CAN, however, use the power button to turn off the iPod. It just won't go into sleep mode with the power button. It will still go into sleep mode if I wait long enough.
-The button still works, just not for sleep mode. Actions taken- I've reset all the settings, and erased all content and settings. I'm on a dialup connection so no software updates are possible at this time, but still suggest them and I'll get them later...
