IMac :: Blocking Forwarded Emails?
Dec 25, 2010My niece is 9 years old. Her mom, my sister, has allowed her to have an email account and she uses it!
I do not want to insult family, but do not want to receive her mass/forwarded "emails".

Software :: Entourage 08 Forwarded Text
Feb 5, 2009When I use Entourage 08 and forward a message, the receiver always gets this text as centered. I use First Class Client as my server and cannot find any options to change this in it's preferences. Also are there settings to normalize all of the text from multiple forwarded messages to the same font size and style? When I got to print out an e-mail it ends up being 20 pages long and some font is 20pt and some is 11pt. It depends on what the original sender is using for their font and style.

Feb 23, 2010I have found apple mail to be great however when I go to open a forwarded email ".msg" I need to go back to my original email provider to open it. In apple mail it asks me to choose the appropriate application however I have had no luck.

Mar 12, 2012I am trying to turn off whatever function puts boxes around paragraphs of text in mail. When I try to edit/manipulate text in emails that have been forwarded to me, it is difficult to do because every paragraph is set in an individual box. I can see how this might be useful for deleting whole paragraphs or moving them. But is there a way to turn off the function?

Dec 2, 2014I experience a funny behavior of Mail. At times, when I forward emails to Outlook users, they can not see the forwarded part of the mail. This happens both with my iCloud mail address and with a corporate mail account.
On the other hand, if I send the same email from iCloud.com web page, it works fine.Â
This is very bad: I use mail for work and over 90% of my contacts use Outlook...Â

May 3, 2009Im using Transmission fully port forwarded, my ISP can get up to 12MB/s and I only once have seem 1MB/s. I usually get about 700kB/s or so...Any way to get faster speeds?

May 22, 2012If an email is either replied or forwarded to me I am unable to open any of the attachments from the originial messages. So unless someone forwards me an email and includes an attachment directly in their emial to me I'm not able to open any attachments. In the email this is how the attachments appear:<CBA_COMPS_5.2.12_PDF.pdf><Screen Shot 2012-05-17 at 2.10.18 PM.png> They are just text and not clickable. How can I make it so that I can open them?

May 29, 2012I had to replace my hard drive on my G5. I am running OS X 10.4.11. I am now receiving mail but can't send it. I am using the proper outgoing mail info. When I tried to send an email I got the message it couldn't be sent using the POP info. Below that is a message that says to send the message using smtp.mac.com.myname. Incidentally do I have to have the .mac account in Mail?

Jun 22, 2012My wife and I have a few email address (BT Internet) that we have access too from our Imac, Iphone 4 and Iphone 4s.
The problem we seem to have is that all our emails keep dissapearing when we go into them. Luckily, old habits die hard and we have been able to get the all on our laptop, but this defeats the object. I have had a look at all our settings to see what the issue is but am flumuxed by it all. The Imac seems to keep dropping the password and wants us to redo the password for these accounts, but sometimes, it wont accept it.Â

Oct 1, 2009installed what seemed to be the most commonly referred to one -- SafariPlus. It was not the usual easy install -- I had to add a folder in my Library, and move the contents of the download into it. Upon restarting Safari, it would crash immediately -- so I removed it.
I also installed ClickToFlash, and while it worked well, it kind of annoyed me when using, for example, youtube playlists, and i had to click on every single page in order for it to play. I get that it's what it's designed to do, but it wasn't really convenient for me.
