I am trying to make a card and we don't like the color palate in the background. I would like a template for just the card (basically just the fold in the paper) so I can make my own background color palate.Â

I am soon to be getting a MacBook Pro in about a month. Since I have always used PC's, although I am very excited, I am trying to gather all information possible to make the switch easy and be productive on the the new MacBook. I have a simple question, I know on windows when you have many things running at one time it tends to bog and slow down. Running things in the background are the issues I am getting at. Does running application and widgets in the background of a MacBook cause them to slow noticeably?

I purchased a new late 2013 27 inch iMac 3.4Ghz i5. The only thing I did after pulling it out of the box was restore Time Machine from my previous iMac. On startup the machine boots as expected, but gets interrupted by the screen turning a dark blue, and the apple logo turning bright red, for about a second or so, then boots as normal, and opens Mavericks. I've spoken to Applecare - they suggested I re-install Mavericks, which I did. The problem is still there. I've done a hardware diagnostics test - no problems. Though I wonder if it could be a faulty graphics card? As far as I'm aware there are no other issues with the iMac. The machine is under warranty but would love to solve this if possible.

I need to duplicate this page 11 times so that I can have an individual fill the stuff in and I can print them all out.
I can't find out how to do this as the tabs involving thumbnails of the pages only allow me to copy all of that pages and not just the graph one.

For the last 2 weeks my wifi connection has been playing up. I use Wifi and my iMac connects directly to my router and it works slow if at all as some pages don't load. I can get by but its frustrating using it and this problem is specific to my iMac as every other device using Wifi works fine. These devices, that work fine, include mobile phones and a MacBook Pro.Â
I'm using Chrome and its the same with other browsers. I usually get a "resolving host' message in the taskbar when loading pages. Sometimes pages do not load at all or they are slow to load and at times some elements like images don't appear. My OS X is 10.9.4.Â

When my 2010 macbook pro changes graphics card it removes my background and sets it as a blue screen. Everything else still works fine and if i go back and set the desktop background again it sets it until next time the card changes!

My iMac mid 2011 does not read the SD Card. In 'System Info' the info abou card reading device tells: 'This computer does not have integrated Apple card reading devices' (something like that, my OS is in Russian).
Worked great a couple of weeks ago, now I have that issue. Is there a way to fix that without changing my iMac's elements?

I have an iMac, early 2009 OS X 10.9.4. Up until a few months ago I didn't have a problem with my memory card reader. The computer no longer detects the memory card reader. There is no indication by the computer that the memory card read has been plugged in. I bought a new memory card reader (different brand). The computer does not detect the new memory card reader. My 27in late 2013 iMac using Yosemite 10.10.1 will not recognize USB card readers. I've tried 3 different card readers and even a brand new 3.0 reader. I only Lexar Professional Compact Flash cards, so I have to use an external card reader. My 2010 Macbook Pro has no problems reading all 3 of my external card readers. If I plug in an SD card to the external card reader nothing happens, but if I insert the SD card straight into the iMac it can recognize the card immediately. What am I doing wrong?
