I seem to have lost the ability to save to, or open documents from, iCloud (Pages, Numbers, and Keynote). When I try to open a file I get the following box: URL....There is no iCloud option. Same for when I am trying to save. I am signed into iCloud. I have checked Documents & Data and each iWork app. How do I get my iCloud stuff back?

However, from my iPad it is no problem!. After editing in iPad and save the documents to iCloud back it is possible to download these on my iMac or MacBookPro without problem.

I've got a number of Pages documents on iCloud, and all of a sudden, none of them can be opened from Pages (5.2.2) on my MacBook Pro. They all appear, but they either say "zero bytes" or there is just a gray line. If I select any document, the "Open" button remains gray. I CAN open all docs on my iPad, and I can also open them using the iCloud web interface. Meanwhlie, Calendar is syncing new events to all devices without problem, in all directions, so it can't be a problem with the account.

I've done some work on Numbers and Pages (both 2008) on my MacBook. For some reason when I try to attach these documents to an email to send to my boss, they are grayed out so that I cannot click them and attach them. I've tried using my university's system as well as hotmail, ymail and gmail, so I assume it has something to do with recognition of the files. So far, I have tried to change the Numbers documents to .xls, but this does not solve my problem.
In this form, the properties ("Get Info") tell me that it is a Microsoft Excel document, but Numbers won't open it and in won't send via email. I have other .xls documents on my computer that I either received by email or downloaded, the icon on my desktop is different, Numbers reads it and they can be attached to emails. It seems that even though I change the .numbers files to .xls, there is still something missing for them to really be Excel files or at least sendable.
Since upgrading to Lion, I can't save changes or even save new documents in Pages on my laptop. When I try to save, I get the dialog box: "The document “Untitled 2” could not be saved as “Untitled 2”. Permission denied" I can't find anything in Pages preferences or in the System preferences where this setting can be changed if it is a setting.

When I scan a document I have problems locating the file on the computer. Once I located the file I attempted to save in pages 09 but it didn't work. And I can't seem to even copy a scanned document to paste into pages. As an example I would like to scan all of my loose recipes and assemble in pages. But can't figure out how to do this.

After the last Pages, Keynote and Numbers update my iCloud documents cannot be accessed anymore.There is no iCloud "storage" under open documents anymore.All my documents are still in the cloud (can access them on icloud.com) but they are not visible in the apps.

Can you save documents to iCloud simply as storage and to access from another PC, iPad or device that isn't your own? I want to access documents remotely but can't see how to do this without buying iWorks for my iPhone, which is not what I want. I have run Virus Barrier X5 and found a about 10 files with Virus 'W97M/Pinky.B' "Quarantened" them and still have the problem.
The problem started -- I think -- when I was doing heavy editing between Numbers and Word. But I don't think it is related (though who knows at this point). Without these programs I'm rendered pretty useless.

Do I have to manually download from iCloud.com when I start writing on my mac and re-upload to iCloud.com when I'm finished? It's automatic on Dropbox. At work I receive various medical records for clients. It would be helpful to take a stack of medical records from a specific doctor, scan them into PDF's, and then tag each page of the stack with the name of the provider and date of service. Then, as additional records come in from various providers, and I repeat the process, I would hope to have the ability to combine all the records if need be sort the entire set of records by date, or if I choose to have them sort by provider. I know it would require some manual tagging but overall I think would save a great deal of time. I cant find a single program that will enable me to do this. I'm looking to have the ability to quickly rearrange the pages of a pdf file based on tags or labels that I add.
