When I open my e-mail in the past the top half of the page was the title and the bottom half was the text of the e-mail, now all I get is the list of the title of the e-mail and not the text it is just one long page instead of being divided in two.

In my video in final cut pro ten the any title text I add disappears. It shows up in the timeline but there is nothing on the canvas screen?

How can I theme OS X Lion to use black text scrollbar, and controls for active windows; gray for inactive windows? I am tired of having to click on a window to ensure that it is active.

Songs with long titles that belong to the same album are ordered side by side at a fixed width. I cannot view the song title without watching it scroll at the top. Or a way to "correct" this? I have many classical pieces that have long descriptive titles. Takes forever for the marquee to scroll!

Have been trying to get in a special character [the tick mark] onto a text title on my current project. Had gone to the special character option under EDIT menu, and added the desired special character to the 'favourite' list, but after that I do not know how to move ahead.

I have been having problems with my Safari and firefox. They both say they are up to date. When I use fire fox to look at Hotmail.com, it takes a while to load and when I try to open mail in new tabs, it opens a tab saying "javascript;;".
When I use safari to look at hotmail, it does an infinite loop and stays blank..the URL thingy just goes in loops. I mostly use fire fox, and some times when I go to type, I will get a 10 second delay before my text appears..
I am unable to view the entire screen of any open website/email without having to scroll up/down/right or left.

View 1 Replies View RelatedThis is starting to cheese me off. iMovie '09 is acting pretty strange. It does not let you drag titles into the storyboard, unless they are at the very beginning. Is this some kind of bug.
I have used iMovie '08 for months without issue, but this is my first project in '09, and it won't let my drag a friggen title in!
I also noticed that the red playhead likes to freeze where it is at random times, it stops moving with the mouse. Clicking the mouse-pointer button in that middle toolbar has no effect.
Earlier tonight I opened iCal, only to find that none of my calendars were there. it was completely empty. However, when I changed the view from "Week" to "Month" all of my events were listed (in the proper color) on the appropriate day, but I still had no list of calendars on the left. Subsequent changes between "Day" "Week" and "Month" view continued to display the events properly, but nothing showed up in the calendar menu on the left.
I repaired permissions same thing happened.I trashed com.apple.ical pref (forgot the exact filename)�same behavior. I use .mac to sync between computers, and I use Missing Sync to sync to a Palm T|X.
I want to view pages and text editor simultaneously, but every time I open one the other one closes (verses minimizes). I assume it is a setting issue.

for example 'The Bluejacks Duo @ The Walkabout, Cardiff' is displayed as 'The Bluejacks Duo @ The Walkabout,'
If you enter 'The Bluejacks Duo @ The Walkabout, Cardiff UK' it works fine and displays all text.
I am convinced this is a bug but it has never been fixed and noone else seems to be mentioning it.
New to Mac's, when I recieve PDF drawings from clients the drawing is showing up however the text and dimensions are not? Did a little research and it may the be "Century Gothic Font" from a PC.Â

Ever since upgrading to Yosemite OS X on my MacBook pro, I've been unable to view pictures that I send or receive via SMS Text and iMessage on my phone, and receive via AIM, within iMessage on my computer.Â
All images show up as their file name only, and cannot be viewed or downloaded (see attached screen shots.)Â
I can view the images fine on my phone, just not on the computer. I've played around with iMessage settings and nothing seems to work.Â

I noticed that finder is not displaying all files when I look at folders with lots of files in "icon view" mode but they do show up in "list view" Same thing happened with the computer at work. I'm using OS X Leopard on both.

View 9 Replies View RelatedI'm able to open the app but it won't display any of the actual details of my emails. When I try to open them standalone the app crashes too. Tried googling for fixes, most of them include Terminal which seemingly won't open anymore either.Â

I was viewing my mailboxes in a column on the left,then a column of the emails in my inbox then the right 2/3 of my screen showed the email massage contents. The area showing the content has disappeared and I have to double click to open an email in a separate window. View 1 Replies View RelatedI'm trying to figure out a way to go from an individually opened email to its conversation view. I know the Conversation View tickbox but that just groups the emails in the inbox. What I want is to go from an email that is opened in its own window to the email's conversation in the inbox.Â
Side note: I'm trying to do this as the CulturedCode Things' autofill puts a link to the individual email (or many links to individual emails in the conversation). When I click on it, it opens the email in its own window but I also want the context of the discussion. (And all this because gmail forced the ugly new look upon me - gmail+Mailplane was working just fine... )

However, when I search for a specific string in an email, the search returns the conversation of grouped messages and does not indicate the specific point in the message containing the text. In the case that finally prompted this post, the conversation contained 50-odd emails, since all of them contained the appended text of all the previous exchanges in the chain. I am then left with the task of scanning through 50-odd emails, whether they be separate or all retained within a single message, for the particular string I'm after. And that defeats the whole point of searching to begin with.Â
So, am I missing some functionality that overcomes this? Really all I want is for the search to return not just the email, but the location within the email (or chain of emails) where the text is found. Returning 50 hits because each email contains the text somewhere in the lengthy history of the conversation, without actually showing me where in the conversation the text appears,
I want to be able to send an email message with a specific keyword in the subject and only a URL in the body.
Here's where Automator needs to come in:
When an email with the subject keyword is received, have Safari open the URL contained in the body of the message.
Copy all of the text from the opened URL.
Compose a new email message and paste in the text copied from the web page, and email it back to the original sender.
Close Safari.
When I send an email and attach a document it pastes it into the text. How do I send it as a separate attachment?

I'm really not sure if this is some stupid thing I'm missing, but I've never been able to choose 'Fan' view for any of my stacks, I only have List or Grid! I've tried it for all different sized folders, and I can't think why it's not there.
