Software :: Choose Print Message From Action Menu From My .mac Account
May 6, 2008
When I was trying to choose print message from action menu from my .mac account, it is not opening a new window, for this reason I cannot print any message through safari. Knowing that when I tried to use the Firefox, it worked normally.
A client already has an iCloud email address running on their iMac Mail app. They want to add a new POP3 account and go to Mail > Add Account... The only option is to choose an iCloud account. There is none of the normal options like Exchange, Google, Yahoo, AOL, or Other.Â
How to they choose "Other" so they can add a POP3 account?Â
We just purchased an Epson Workforce 845 all-in-one printer to use with our 24" iMac. The OS is 10.6.8, with the Supplemental 1.1 update installed. Some printing options such as printing only the "selection" are not available. What can be done to get these options when printing with a newly released Epson printer?Â

There is no "copies & pages" and "quartz filter" on my print menu. I've have tried my darndest to print in black and white to no avail. I also can only print one page at a time. The options are just not there. Why? And how do I correct this?
I added a network printer (HP Laserjet 2300) to my MB (OS 10.5.8) printer list and I can print single sided just fine. BUT there is no option anywhere in my print menu to print double sided. My two labmates can print double sided on this printer (one using MBP with OS 10.6, one a Windows PC). The menu on the MBP looks different and where I have the "reverse pages" option, they have a "double-sided" check box.
I have already:
-Checked the Duplex Unit box on the printer info menu in System preferences
-Looked at ALL the sub menus in the printer menu
-tried to reinstall the drivers (current driver v. 4.3.5.153 - I suspect this may be the issue because the MBP that can print double sided has driver v. 16.something). Actually the HP site was extraordinarily unhelpful in telling me even what version of drivers I should have or getting me to a place where i could download.
-Restarted my computer with various iterations of the above.
This printer can and does print double sided -just not from my computer because I don't have the check box.
Both the mac and HP Photo printer are online. My printer is listed but when I print I get: The printer is not responding or the printer might not exist.
I'm trying to Print a "Phone List" from Entourage address book. I know "phone list" is an option in the drop down box of the print menu but cannot seem to have company name print on phone list. It only shows persons name and phone numbers.
I'm massively stumped, word for mac 2008 crashes every damn time i try to print off the file drop down menu. It prints if i use the icon but then i don"t get any extra features which of course i need for work.
I have updated mac office and it's not a cracked version. I have also reset the printing system in print & fax in system preferences.
I am not a mac user (please forgive me) but I have a friend who has a Mac and cannot print all of a sudden. From what I understand it is an I-Mac and the OS is OSX.
All of a sudden (after a few years without trouble) she is getting an out of memory message when she sends a job to the printer. Further, no jobs show up in the printer dialogue window when it is sent from the computer. The print jobs are not large, just simple emails. Even when she creates a blank message with the word test in the body it still wont print.
The printer is an HP D4160.
It is not sending any messages re: the status of the cartridges. The computer is communicating with the printer as it will print a test page when commanded to from the computer so this is truly baffling.
When opening a Mail message with any sort of scripting, many of the menu items remain greyed out, including the one that's important to me, 'Save Attachments...'.Â
If I manually open the same message, the menu items are enabled.Â
Try this script, by resetting the mailbox name to one of your own mailboxes, and you'll see what I mean.Â
(I've lodged a bug report).Â

I have an HP Photosmart printer connected, via USB, to a PowerPC Mac. The Mac has Bonjour on it and it acts as a print server to a Mac laptop and a Dell laptop. Until recently, everything was working fine. Now, however, when I try to print from the Dell laptop, I get a pstopdffilter error message. I can still print from the Mac laptop. Any thoughts?
I have three user/log in Accounts on my 2006 iMac. Running osx 10.4.11. two accounts work fine. One account, after logging into it, the dock and menu bar is missing. My wall paper appears as normal. my pointer just spins. the only way I can exit is to turn off switch.I did try repairing disk permissions from another account. no effect.
Error message when I try to print: unsupported document-format"application/vnd.cups-command". I recently had my hard drive replaced in my early 2010 21" iMac.
In the last few weeks when I open iphoto on my iMac (OS 10.7.3) I get the following error message, "MobileMe didn't recognize the stored password for (my name)'s MobileMe account". As far as I can remember, I never had a MobileMe account, but I did put in the password I use for my Apple account and it rejected it. I created a brand new password, and it still wouldn't recognize it. I don't care about MobileMe and I have other Cloud accounts, so I just want to get rid of this annoying error message. Where do I go to stop this message for good? I have looked everywhere I could think of. I also checked on my iPad. My contacts and calendars are successfully synching.
Can other people using Gmail through their Mac desktop mail tell me if its sending? It appears I can receive but I cannot send. Maybe I did something wrong? Although I haven't touched the settings.
Everytime I wake my computer from sleep, I get a pop-up message asking me to re-enter my password for my iCloud account. I click "remember this password in my keychain" and hit okay, but it still asks me every single time. What gives?
I have recently upgraded from Snow Leopard to Mavericks and am now having problem with my hp 4500 office jet printer. The print icon tends to stay on the dock after the print job is done and then mess up the print queue. Even worse if I forget to cancel it manually then when I put the computer on 'sleep' the printer starts up again and the whole job is rerun unless I get to cancel it quickly on the printer! Â
It does not always do this (the print icon disappearing as it should do), but for 90% of the time it does.Â
does anyone know how to use the function key actions within photoshop? I really would like to think i'm simply missing something rather than apple did something silly like overriding applications choice for f keys.
I cannot get Folder Actions Script working on Leopard 10.5.8.
I have put a simple script in ~/Library/Scripts/Folder Action Scripts/ and attached it to a folder on the Desktop, but no way to make it act.
I suspect it may be a permission issue, but I do not know how to repair it. I tried repairing permissions with Disk Utility and with Onyx, but no success.
