Software :: Samsung BD 3600 Won't Sync Up With Apple

I have a Samsung BD-P3600 Blu-Ray with Netflix streaming and Pandora capabilities. I also an Apple TV at the same location.
At my computer (IMac 20") I have an Apple Extreme for wireless streaming, and use it as my router
The problem is that the Blu-Ray will not talk to the Apple Extreme, which means that I don't have the Netflix and Pandora enabled at the TV. I can see my network and a neighbors when I do a search for connections within the Blu-Ray setup screen, but when I try to connect I get a message that the player failed to connect
The Blu-Ray has the wireless dongle installed. I know it's not an internet problem per se, since I have had no problem getting the Apple TV to work with all its functions including instant streaming of movies and TV shows. I have no problem w/ my ipod touch eoither. I have entered IP addresses, passwords, and every other thing I can think of until I'm Blu-Ray in the face.

so - this is the latest problem - anyone else finding this - or no how to fix it?
It would appear it cant discover the device... I'm pretty sure its discovarablity is turned on....

My Epson scanner died and I was given a scanmaker 3600 but it is only compatible with OS8-OS9 not OS X. Anyone know a way to get it working such as a open sourced driver or something.

samsung bdp 3600
all connect to the internet wirelessly accept the samsung. it came with a wireless dongle, it can see my network but will not connect when i type in password it does not connect.

I have just sold my 30" ACD which just did not agree with me, Too much on the screen caused no end of head aches. Anyway that aside release date of the New Samsung XL2370 is just around the corner with a 24" ACD costs 849,00 Euros and Two Samsung XL2370 come in under 800,00 Euros with delivery. Getting the Samsung s saves buying a new Graphics card as I currently have a Nvidia 8800 in my Early 2008 Mac Pro a ATI Radeon HD 4870 is another 315,00 Euros just to have the new Apple Mini display port. Anyone seen a XL2070 or P2370 up close and personal like. And can comment on the quality? I believe the XL2370 is the same as the P2370 just a change in backlighting.

Does anyone know the difference between the apple LED monitor and the samsung LED HD tv? They both do the same resolution. You connect dvi to hdmi with an adapter for the samsung 6000 32". You are paying 300 more but you get an awesome tv 1.2 inches thick. what is the difference in the two besides the tv tuner and $.

I know how to set up hotmail in Apple mail so that I am receiving email and can send email. But when I send a e-mail from my hotmail account from another computer, the email I've sent, wont appear in the 'sent' box of apple mail. Is there a possibility to sync my hotmail account entirely? No hotmail bashing or advice to switch to gmail or another webmail kind of thing.

for those of you using gmail with imap know, read and unread status's do not update for some reason w/out turning mail off then back on. i recently purchased a new (to me) intel macbook with snow leopard 10.6 and used mobileme to sync my mail accounts. what i noticed to my pleasant surprise is that my iphone, macbook, and gmail are all in perfect sync, BUT the g4 powermac with leopard and apple mail 3.6 still has a problem. is there any updates coming out, i find it hard to believe with the leopard updates still coming out they still haven't addressed this issue. are those of you with snow leopard experiencing the same perfect syncs with gmail read/unread status?

I currently have data in both Entourage and Apple Address book. I am wanting to migrate over to Entourage and was going to sync the two programs to accomplish this. However before I do that, I need to understand how the data transfers. Does data from Apple Address Book overwrite data in Entourage? Is it added? Does the Entourage data overwrite the Apple Address book data? Does anyone know or know where I can get this information?

I just set up my 2 Apple LED displays today to my Mac Pro and love the setup. It does seem that the brightness between the two is a little out of whack and I cant seem to get it just right using the manual controls in system preferences.
Does anyone know of any software available the works well in controlling 2 monitors?

I have to quit Mail and restart it to start getting emails again. Plus all the messages I had deleted come back again and those moved elsewhere are back in the inbox. My company IT says the problem is that they are using an older version of MS Exchange server software and that Apple is not fully compatible. Is there a way to improve Apple Mail performance on my end?

When I first started using my iMac, I started with an e-mail address that I could easily gain access to. Shortly after that, I learned what Facetime was an created an account using a different e-mail address. Is it possible to sync these two accounts? I need to get a new verizon phone, but I do not want to have any data package (so all smartphones including iPhone, blackberry, droid, etc., will not work). I do want to be able to sync my phone with my iCal and contact book on my mac. I can do the sync manually (usb) or bluetooth. I do need the phone to have a keyboard, so I can edit/add contacts and appointments on the phone itself. If I need to purchase third-party software to make the sync possible, which software? Are there particular non-smartphone phone models that do/ do not have this capability?

Does any one know of any applescripts or tools that allow you to sync palm desktop with the apple address book and ical? I'd rather use the palm option for syncing my palm because it's a lot faster, however would like to use the extra OS X functionality of the built in apps.

I am new to Mac so please bear with my incompetence. I have managed to find the plugin HTTPMail to add to Apple Mail in enable the use of my hotmail account in this software. Strangely, though, I cannot see any emails (i.e. it has not synchronised any of my folders/mails), I cannot receive any, BUT I have tried sending one and it actually worked. Would there be a step that I missed? I am on Leopard version 10.5.6., Mail version 3.5.

So I'm rolling out 10.6 on some Mac Pros in our office. So far it's gone fairly smoothly (aside from the fact that Xerox has decided to not bother make drivers for 10.6). We're switching over to Apple's Mail/iCal/Contacts instead of the buggy Entourage. Of the 4 users, 3 of them are working fine. Sometimes their AD session goes buggy and they can't access shared folders on our server via smb, but a restart fixes it. I have one user who comes in every morning though, and her Apple Mail app can not sync with the Exchange 2007 server. It prompts her for her password and won't accept it. She can access shared folders though via smb and they open up right away, meaning it's recognizing her domain and user/pass with out her entering it manually.

I have the newest version of Apple Mail and I am syncing it with an IMAP account. Everything works fine so far. I had to delete all my mails on the provider server because I reached the storage limit. So I saved all my mails on my mac from the apple mail first and then I deleted all my mails on the server. After deleting all mails on the server, I putted back my old mails into APPLE MAIL, but it immediately deleted all my mails in APPLE MAIL after syncing with the server. So my question. How can I place my old mails back into APPLE MAIL without it deleting my local mails when it is syncing with the server?

I have a bunch of contacts in my Apple Contact book but am using Outlook for Mac 2011 for email, contact management, and calendar. I have read that you have to sync your Apple contact book to your exchange account rather than directly to the Outlook for Mac 2011 programs so you don't create duplicates (contacts coming from the Apple address book AND the Exchange server). However, I can't find anything that tells me how to sync the Apple Contacts with my Exchange account. I figure at that point once synced, my exchange account will push the new contacts from the Apple Contact book back into Outlook for Mac 2011 making everything whole.

I would like to know if apple mail is supposed to sync both signatures and rules across devices.
I recently had to create 3 signatures on 3 separate devices and am now realizing that rules don't carry over from my iMac to my MBA or MBP.
if they're not supposed to sync (which makes absolutely no sense) hopefully apple will fix this in yosemite.
finally, i will say that, while being a huge apple fan (and would never switch to a pc), i've seen apple mail become one of those neglected softwares and have steadily gone on the decline in terms of features and consistency among devices that are supposed to communicate to one another.
All my devices are using osX 10.9.3

Since upgarding to itunes 11.2 When ever I plug my iphone in to sync or even have it on the same netwrok to auto sync via wifi. My itunes crashes and I have to force quit the application. I have tried reinstalling itunes but this hasnt worked. I get this script in my console

I have a Nokia N78 cellphone which I can sync to my Macbook Pro using iSync. This works fine for photos, iCal, contacts but I what I would like to do is to be able to back up and view my sms on my Mac. Does anybody know if there is anyway of achieving this (free if possible)? If not, can anybody recommend a phone (other than the obvious iPhone) that has this syncing capability with Macs? I am looking to update my phone soon anyway.

A year ago I tested Spanning Sync for syncing my iCal with Google calendar. It worked out very well and I subscribed for one year (25 USD). Now there is version 2 around the corner that will add contact sync support. I have tried the beta and that works very well too.
My subscription is to end soon and I am thinking about extending. That would be another 25 USD for a year or 65 USD for life long subscription. Meanwhile I encountered another product called Busy Sync. I does almost the same (except contact syncing). With a coupon a single license per computer is 20 USD aka 40 USD for both of my macs.

I use iCloud for syning Mail & Notes. Contacts, Calendars and Documents & Data. I am 100% sure that in the past in iTunes/Info tab "Sync contacts" and "Sync Mail Accounts" showed all my different Address Book groups and different email account to be synced. Since recently they seem disappeared and I only see my different Calendars to be synced. Why are both Sync contacts empty and Sync Mail Accounts both emtpy/dimmed. BTW if I check Sync contacts I get a message that they are synced through iCloud etc. etc. Now if I enable on my Mac another email account in Apple Mail it is not added to my iPhone/iPad anymore. How can I change that ?
