I just updated my Mac I Book G4 from OSX 10.3 to 10.4. Now when I click on my Epson Smart Panel icon to start scanning I get a message that says Install the supported twain driver. I have downloaded the Epson Twain Driver v 2.77. I am told I need to uninstall the old Twain driver. How do I do that?
I'm trying to add an Epson PictureMate PM 260 printer to my iMac, 10.7.3. When I plug it in I can see it in the Add Printer window, but when I try to install the driver, I get a message saying the "software is currently unavailable". I searched the epson site, but they don't seem to have drivers compatible with 10.7.
Just out of the blue, I can't print using my epson 600, a multi use printer that I have set up on my network.
The strange thing is my scaning driver is there and working, but my wireless printer is not there. I can see my Epson Printer, but its not the wireless driver, its the older driver for using the cable.
I've just tried to install the epson drivers for my printer Epson Stylus Photo R220, went to their site and downloded the driver, installed and resarted.
Then installed the Epson Print CD application that comes with the CD, and installed, however when i try to print to CD an error states:
"The epson print driver dealing with CD printing is not installed"
I've looked on the CD and on their site and cannot find anything.
I've just loaded mac OSX 10.5.1 onto my Powerbook G4, and I've lost my Epson Stylus Colour 860 printer driver?
I've gone into the Print & Fax Pref's to add a printer, but there are no printers listed? I've also looked on the Epson printer drivers to download and there doesn't seem to be any to support any OS later than 9?
I have an Epson Perfection 3170 Photo scanner. It is a fine scanner that has served me well for many years through many different operating systems, Windows as well as Mac OS X. The scanner software is no longer supported by Epson for OS X Lion. The only way I can now san is by using the drivers that are built into the OS. I can access the scanner either through System Preferences/Print & Scan, or use Image Capture. Unfortunately, all the scans are of an extremely poor quality. I can no longer scan fibrant colors or stong blacks, the entire scan is now murky and all colors as well as the blacks and greys are faded.
After initial problems loading the driver of the CD I was advised the do a software update on my iMac and to download the latest driver from the Epson site in the U.S. Having done all of that and successfully loaded the software the iMac still cannot find the printer driver when trying to add a printer.
I have previously loaded everything and have printed via usb but have not been unable to print wirelessly. Has anyone any clue as to what I might try?
I can't find the yosemite driver for my new epson r3000 printer. I am using 10.10.1. The Epson website says to find the driver by going to the App store and looking for updates. I did that and didn't find any. In "Printers and Scanners" in System Preferences I notice that the computer is aware that I am connected to the printer (via USB) but a message at the bottom of the window says that "Software for this printer isn't available from Apple. Contact the printer's manufacturer..."

Can I toggle between Air Print and an Epson printer driver? The only way I can print directly on CDs with my Epson XP-810 is to use Epson's driver. Normally, I'd prefer to use Air Print.I'm running OSX 10.9.4.
I have an Epson V200 Photo that has a button called "Send to Email" when it is invoked it loads Mail. I would like it to load Thunderbird instead of Mail. Does anyone know a way to modify the driver to do this? I contacted Epson and got nowhere.
In the office where I work with my Mac there's a Canon copier/scanner model iR2318. Months ago I downloaded and installed the Lion compatible drivers required that worked fine. Yesterday (with no reason, no changes, nothing at all: just working) the printer started to refuse to print as it asked for a different paper format: A4 or Letter. Despite many attempts to specifically send print jobs in A4, which is the paper format loaded in the tray, the printer continued to refuse all prints.Today I ended up removing the printer from the list, as it became unnecessary, and I also liked to uninstall the printer driver as well, since Canon released a newer version.Currently, when trying to reinstall the printer, 2 drivers are displayed: UK and US. This lets me assume that those 2 drivers are still installed in my system: I wanted to remove both of them and start from scratch by reinstall the driver and he printer as the system was new. How can I remove the driver, so that Lion won't recognize it and that I could make a clean install of the previous working printer?
I use an old HP Laserjet 3200 that I've owned since they first came out. It has worked wonderfully for years and years. The first time I had to print something on my MacBook Pro, I was surprised that it was effortless. The printer was automatically recognized and my print job went without a hitch. The next time I used Software Update I got a driver update for the HP Laserjet 3200. I thought, wow, these guys are really on the ball.
I just used the printer one time and they already know I need the updated driver. But the new driver's screwed everything up and instead of getting the perfect print job I got before, the printer just starts throwing out blank pages. Is there any way to un-install this one software update of this one driver? It arrived by itself, nothing else with it, and it's in my list of updates specifically referencing the HP Laserjet 3200.
I have a new HP Photosmart 7510. It is possible to scan, if I use HP Scan 3 or the possibility in the printer and scanner driver menu. I habe installed the newest driver (3.3.3). In some applications (Acrobat X, GraphicConverter) I need to scan with TWAIN, but it is not possible to choose the scanner because it does not appear in the dropdown menu. Does any know, if it is generally possible to scan using TWAIN?
I have just connected a Brother MFC-7860DW all in one printer scanner to my Mac wirelessly. Everything works perfectly except the scanning. Image capture will show the Brother in the device browser window, I click on Twain uni but can see no Connect click button. Just opening Image Capture "no device connected" If I go in to Print and Scan box there is no "scan" button at the top right corner as decribed in the manual. I have downloaded Twain in case my software was not up to date. Nothing happens from the printer buttons end. Seems the Mac can talk to the printer but not Twain Scanner. It seems tantalisingly close. Is there a magic completion?
I had a Dell 1100 laser printer working on my iMac (G4 ball type) using a GIMP printer. I had to reset the queue and lost the driver. I can't remember which GIMP driver I used. Also, although I have loaded the latest GIMP s/w, I can't seem to get to them in Tiger 10.4.6.
We are trying to install/update to the NVIDIA 270.00.00f06 driver for the PNY Quadro FX4800 for Mac on our MacPro 3,1 with OSX 10.7.4. The system tells us "No Driver Update Needed for this System", and will not allow driver to be installed. Can anyone advise if the current driver is automatically installed or provided by Apple Updates. If not can you provide proper instructions on how to properly update the driver. Also how can we confirm what driver version is currently installed.

I have a Firewire Epson Stylus Pro 4800 on a G4 running OSX10.2, this is on an ethernet network connected to 3 MacPros. I've just upgraded from 10.5 to 10.6 and can no longer see the Epson on the network. As Appletalk is no longer supported on Snow Leopard, is there a way to connect to the Epson? I've tried adding an IP printer using the G4's IP address with the Epson print driver, but no luck.
I am trying to run an Epson EMP-TW 720 projector from my mini mac. It is not showing the entire desktop, I can see the majority but not the top bar and not quite all of the bottom. What must I do, driver update?
I use a mid - 2012 Mac Pro; run Mavericks OS X 10.9.3. I have an Epson R300 that is incompatible with 10.9.3; but according to Epson I may be able to setup my R300 to my Mac Pro buy one of three ways:
1. USB: Connect your product to your Mac using a USB cable.
2. Wireless: You'll need to download and install the "Epson Wireless Setup" utility to establish the connection to your router.
3. Ethernet: My Epson printer does not have an Ethernet connection so this one is ruled out.
I am trying number 1: USB. I downloaded the Apple "PrinterProxy Version 9.0 (447)" and ran the software. Whenever I try to print something I get the following:
"Stopped - Unsupported colorspace = -1, 1 page"
What should I do to print with the above mentioned Epson printer, if possible?
I have just upgraded my Macbook 2.2GHz Intel with 2 GB RAM and 250GB HD from 10.5 to 10.6 My Epson stylus photo R1800 printer has stopped working. I have downloaded the 'drivers & utilities combo package' from the Epson website, installed, restarted etc but still nothing being printed.
I have a Mac OS X with 10.6.5 version software. The Guttenberg (excuse spelling) driver works but the graphics printing has faults. So I would like to get the Epson (Epson Stylus Photo r200) driver working on the Mac. The Epsom software is the latest easyprint 2009 and after installation it was available for selection in the list of available printers and seemed to install okay. I have tried reinstalling, rebooting and have followed Epson's troubleshooting pages including resetting the printers and repairing permissions.
If I click "options supplies" on the "printers and faxes window" and then "utility" and then "open printer utility" it tells me that Epson printer utility 4 cannot be executed or the printer is not registered for this software and cannot function properly using the current connections. Is there somewhere else on the computer where I have to tell it to use the USB to print or do I have to register it with the computer or with Epson?
This is a heads-up for owners of Epson R300 and some other Epson printers. There is an internal "counter" that at a certain point will stop the printer and announce: "service required". You will be advised to call Epson - before the printer will print again.
