A friend did this on my computer on a site where I'm very frequently logging in. How can I erase this preference just for this site, i.e. I want Safari to ask me again whether I want my password stored and then answer yes.

But the first time I logged on to a specific new site, password manager popped up asking if I wanted it to remember my log on information. Instead of hitting "remember", I accidentally hit "never remember". It's driving me nuts because its the one site I visit every day, and can't figure out how to un-do it other than re-register under a new name, which would be too much of a hassle since it's my stock brokerage site.

Upon going on the actual mail website and doing an online sign in I have realised that the password is infact correct. How can i resolve this. View 1 Replies View RelatedI have close to 30 sites in my keychain, but one will not remember login info. When I had first joined the site, it worked fine. Unfortunately it had not synched my login info using the cloud to my iPod touch. I had of course forgotten the recommended suggested password (letters, numbers & symbols), and so had a password request sent to my phone. Again unfortunately the cloud did not resend the password to my computer, so I just ended up creating my own easy to remember password. It was recalling the strange passwords, but wouldn't put my password into my mac. It also began to stop asking to save passwords from that site altogether. I ran keychain first aid, & I trashed the Keychain Access.plist. I didn't reset my Default Key Chain button, because I don't to loose all of my saved info.

I have it stored to save and when the box comes up I click "remember my password" but it keeps coming up. it's not ever day, it's random.

Well for all the main sites I visit with safari they load up fine. But one site and only one doesn't display correctly. It shows up fine in firefox but not in safari. I can use the site alright in safari but I would like it if I could make it display correctly. And I really don't feel like switching over to firefox because I prefer using safari. So is there any way I can fix this issue without having to switch browsers every time I visit the site.
View 11 Replies View RelatedI have a site that won't auto-fill. I've deleted cookies, cache, and any reference to the site. I've taken out my keychain entry which I had to enter manually. I sign in manually, click the checkbox that sets the cookie with my login email, and login. It won't ask me to save to the keychain. So I enter a new keychain entry manually, and it won't work.Â

every time i open a site and click something it will direct me to a new site. this happens everytime without fail.. (on every site)Â also my web cam. From a certain moment now i could not surf on some web sites as Facebook (really long to open, then html text on the left,[URL]etc) also when i want to update my apps on iTunes, he sais cannot connect to iTunes store, weired. I already empty the cache, and cookies on Firefox, dosent do anything, oh! Safari 4 seems to provide a warning when Google has tagged a website with potential Malware. I don't know if this Malware is Mac or PC but thought it was interesting. I've attached a screenshot to see what I mean.

View 5 Replies View Relatedin firefox, if you type two words in the URL bar, it will pickup the site. For example, my firefox will list every url i've been to in order of popularity if type mac - (it will show macrumours, apple, 9to5mac, etc)
if i type mac on safari it will list all url's beginning with the word mac.
How do i get safari to behave like firefox? You can see the benefits of firefox as getting to a url you don't quite remember is easy.

I have a Macbook Pro (Lion originally installed) running on Mavericks (all latest updates). SSD installed and the DVD tray is replaced by the original HDD.Â
The laptop wasn't running very smooth anymore so decided to give it a fresh Mavericks install (even though I know it's not really necessary for mac, everything is much faster except a weird internet problem came up).
After freshly installing Mavericks I couldn't get into my google account anymore, just wouldn't load. Tried Safari (use this normally) and Firefox and Chrome, this last was gave a SSL connection error, both Safari and FF said the website couldn't be loaded because the server didn't respond. For Gmail I use Mailplane which is just stuck on a white page. I tried repairing the keychain, repaired disk and disk permissions, cleaned browsers, turned off firewall and antivirus (Shopos) started in safe mode, checked time settings which were all good. Nothing... I even ended up creating a usb bootdisk for Mavericks, formatted the disk and reinstalled from the start just Mavericks and nothing else, started Safari, still the same problem. I figured it's not worth reinstalling all software so put back my backup.
Now I ended up somehow only being able to use Gmail normally in Firefox, Chrome still gives SSL error and Safari can load the inbox, but I can't open any messages. I get the error there is a problem with the connection. If I try in Basic HTML mode it surprisingly does work.
You would say, just use Firefox, finished...but the thing is that sometimes random websites won't load in Firefox, when I load the same site in Safari it works perfectly.
O yes, I also tried the connect to my iPhone and use the Cellular data network, then it's no problem using Gmail in Safari normally. You would say it's a router problem, but I have another Macbook Pro (just one model later running Mountain Lion) this one works perfectly with every browser. Also my iPhone does everyting logged into the WiFi network.Â

Safari home page is defaulted to "only-search.com" and it won't let me change it. MacBook Pro, 2.3 GHz Intel Core i5, 4GB, running OS10.7.5 and Safari version 6.1.6 (7537.78.2). I checked software update for OS and Safari (auto, though checked myself) and everything is up to date. I change the "Homepage" and when I restart Safari the "only-search.com" web page keeps coming up. On occasions a message also appears that "my web browser is about to crash and yes or no to clean it" which I have ignored. How to get a clean Safari version?Â

replace flash as the default. apple has had a special arrangement with Google from the iPhones inception to link mobile Safari directly to youtubes HTML site, do you think this is a possibility on the mac, obviously not to ban flash(the government wouldn't approve of that) but to replace it as the default?
