May 20, 2009I want to set a reminder to e.mails. Eg in microsoft outlook I can just drag an email to the calender and it opens on the set date automatically? is this possible and if yes how?

ICloud :: Can't Add Reminder In ICal For Other Calendars
Mar 14, 2012On my Mac and in iCloud, I can only add Reminders to two Calendar types, Home and Sarah. I'd like to add other reminders for calendars labeled Work, for example. However, I can only choose to reclassify Reminders in the other Calendar types that have Reminders- so only Home and Sarah. Do I have to do something in iCloud for me to gain this ability?

Jun 30, 2012When I first purchased Lion and used the iCal application, I was able to set Reminders to repeat themselves on a daily basis (eg. Take Your Pill). But now, for some unknown reason, this option has disappeared. I have one reminder that still shows this (since I have not marked it completed), but I cannot create any new daily reminders. What happened? Did Apple remove this option from iCal?

'Network Connection'This is a reminder that your connection is still active. Do you wish to remain connected?
On Tiger it was easy to disable this reminder, but I can't seem to be able to do the same on SL.

Oct 23, 2008My date and time resets each time my mac sleeps or is reset or if I open date and time options. It keeps sending emails of my old reminders from 2008/2009 from ical and my to-do list emails me its reminders. This happens every time I open my comp or even just open date and time options. I also get the ical reminder notification that pops up freezes on my screen. Not sure how this happened, but can anyone help?

I don't know if my gmail accounts were hacked or if their implementation of "Priority Inbox" just trashed all my messages older than 35 days. I've changed my password and disabled Priority Inbox. Does anyone have any ideas about how I can recover my e-mails?

I set up the rule according to another apple support thread and instead of only sending the reply to new mail received, it was sent to all messages I believe that were in my INBOX, I only had a few but several people that hadn't sent me emails since I set up the rule, received the OUT OF OFFICE reply.Here is the procedure I followed for the out of office rule-[URL]I just used my email account which is a business account- not an ECU account but these rules according to the apple thread apply for all emails.

I can send emails, without any problems...but I can't RECEIVE any emails, at all. All of a sudden.
On the left bottom corner, I can see, receiving 1 of 4, and after 1 min, the bar is gone, and I cannot get any emails at all.
When I login to the webmail (abc.com/webmail for instance), I can find there're 4 emails sitting there "unread"
May I know what's the problem? and how to fix it? because I want to be able to receive the mails from MAIL instead of logging in to webmail all the time.

Oct 2, 2009I have an issue with my Apple Mail. I've configured my server's email on it. Now it works all fine when I setup a new account; I can easily send and receive emails.
However, after I quit the application, and reopen it, I can ONLY send emails! I don't receive any emails!

Jun 3, 2012Over the past couple of months I have received a whole lot of emails from I guess the .me server saying unable to send due to error. I have never sent these emails, and I dont know the address they were addressed to, I ignored it thinking it would just stop. This morning I can't get my email due to being locked out for security reasons. I was directed to change my password and now alot of emails are showing up with no subject dated 12/31/69. There must be 50 of them, but my inbox only says I have 13 new emails! What the heck is going on? Has my cloud been hacked.

I used to get new emails, send emails, and do everything really well untill last week. for some reason i just don't get any new emails, I don't get any alerts, I can't see them, I can't access them, i don't even have them in my inbox, no matter how many times i click "get mail" or "rebuild Mailbox".
when i accessed my mailbox from the yahoo mail website, I found that i got like 30+ new emails!

About 3 months ago one addressee reported that she no longer receives our emails, including our replies to her emails.
- Her husband's email account, using same Windows PC, has no problem receiving our emails.
- We have no problem receiving her emails.
- This problem exists using any of the 3 macs in our household
-This problem exists for both my and my wife's email account
She reports that our messages are not going to her trash or to her junk mail
Any ideas out there?
