I have the original mouse and it scrolls in the opposite direction now that I've upgraded to Lion.I saw a previous post and they said to change to natural scrolling, but I don't have that option.

I just upgraded to Lion and now the scroll button scrolls backwards. When I scroll away from myself, it scrolls down the page and when I scroll towards myself it scrolls up the page. Just the opposite of what it did before the upgrade. I'm using a Microsoft Mobile Mouse 4000
View 4 Replies View RelatedEvery once in a while my cursor will flash on the screen and it will scroll to the bottom of the page I'm viewing. If I scroll up, it goes right back down. It quits after about 30 seconds.
View 9 Replies View RelatedI have bought a macbook pro in the late 2009.. and its sudden motion sensor is repositioned (in version 5.3) and it works in the other way around.. when i try with programs that use the sensor to make sth.. like when you move right, the things going upwards.. and when you move in the y direction things are moving in the x direction..
So has anybody have this problem?
And i have been reading articles about new version Smackbooks which works with this version but nothing was helpful so far..
I am calling those people who have the same version as me and have some proper apps to work with our version...
My wireless mighty mouse only lets me scroll a page upward using the center rolling button. It will not scroll downward.

From what I can remember from the last time I used a trackball it probably needs cleaning.
Recently my mighty mouse scroll wheel as lost the ability to scroll upwards. I presume it's like the ball on the bottom of an old mouse and needs cleaning but don't know how to get into it to clean?

I've been playing with my new iMac for 3 days now and I am still at awe. It's my first Mac. It's a completely different experience from a Vista. However, there is a minor, but quite irritating issue. I don't know if it's with the iMac or the magic mouse (which I've got comfortable with) but any web page I go to, it automatically scrolls down almost a quarter of the way. I've tried different surfaces. Happens all the time. Just as I start reading something, it scrolls down and I've to scroll back up and it would do it again.

View 2 Replies View RelatedIt either interprets "diagonal" scrolling as horizontal or vertical, or left and right. There is no horizontal and vertical at the same time. I don't recall my previous MM being able to scroll diagonally, either. I'm not sure what Apple means by "360 degree scolling."

The thing is... it doesn't seem to scroll "down" as easily as it scrolls "up" and "left to right". (as it is right now, I have to apply a lot more pressure to scroll down than I do to scroll up or laterally)
Is there an adjustment I can make to get this thing to scroll "down" as easily and freely as it does "up"?Has anyone else had this sort of issue, or is it just me? Ok, Thanks.

My cursor still changes based on the context, like hovering over a link or in a text field, but displays the wrong icon. After focusing a text field, the cursor is a reggular arrow in the text editor and turns to the text staff outside of it when it should be an arrow. I FOUND THAT RESIZING THE MOUSE CURSOR IN THE UNIVERSAL ACCESSS PREFERENCES temporarily restores the cursor to a size-adjusted mouse, until I do something like click in a text field.

One of my fans died on my G4 dual 1ghz. I took it out, got a new fan but I forgot which way it is supposed to blow the air. I put it in so it sucks air into the tower towards the processor, but I'm a bit unsure maybe it is supposed to blow the air out?

View 20 Replies View RelatedI have a new 27" IMac with all updates installed. I use Track pad and wireless keyboard and wireless number pad. No Blurtooth in the house . Bluetooth boards replaced. Nearest neighbor is several thousand feet away and not home during the day. When using Sarafi the screen will rapidly scroll to the bottom and stay there. It might be anywhere from 30 seconds to several minutes until I am able to scroll back to the top of the page. During this time I can't get any of the bookmark folders to stay open although if I do not take my finger off the track pad I can hold it open. Some times I have to reboot Safari to reset the page. This happens on an intermittant basis and it may be days between occurences,
Is this a know bug in either bluetoopth, Safari, or the OS?

I have my Mac Pro set up to boot at a certain time every morning using the energy saver schedule feature. I have also set a disk I've named "Lion HD" as my startup disk. I also have a disk named "Lion HD back up" which is an exact bootable clone created with "super duper". Every now & then the computer boots into the Lion backup rather than the Lion HD. Any ideas why this happens & what I can do to fix it?

I've had an iPhone for the last few years and am used to the direction of swiping on the iPhone. I recently purchased a macbook pro and noticed that the scrolling on the iPhone and Macbook occur in the opposite direction when scrolling from top to bottom and it's driving me crazy. I'm looking for a way to change the direction that the window moves when using the two finger swipe on my macbook pro.
When scrolling though web pages on the iPhone, sliding your finger from the top of the phone to the bottom displays text above the current viewing window. In other words, if I place my finger over a word and move my finger up or down my finger is still on top of the word when I'm done scrolling. Scrolling on the track pad of my macbook pro works in the opposite direction. On the macbook when I swipe two fingers from the top to the bottom of the track pad the text above the current window is shown. If I put my cursor over a word and two finger swipe the word moves in the opposite direction as my fingers. I would like to change this behavior so that scrolling occurs in the same manner that it does on the iPhone.
How can i change the scroll direction of the trackpad? Someone hooked a mouse up to it and it changed the settings and I cant change it back.

I just discovered KeyChain. Great idea! However, when I chose iCloud and entered the password to view iCloud password, there was, what appeared to be enough random letters, numbers and symbols to fill the entire data entry window. I looked at other passwords and only one other was weird. can I changed a passeord when I am in KeyChain?
