I have been trying to download Cloud 1.I put my Apple ID and Password in.It didn't take.I changed my password and it still didn't take.Also, when I tried to download mobile me, it wanted my 'member name and ID'.Is that separate? All I want to do, actually , is sink my contacts in Yahoo to gmail on safari.I was able to do that on Mail in Mac, but not on Safari.

I'm unable to log into my iCloud console on my mac (OSX Lion 10.7.4) - its giving error: 'unrecognized apple ID or password' and You can't sign in at this time'. Incredibly though, I can log into my iPhone, the iCloud's website and iTunes as well, using the same apple ID. I would like to keep my Mac, iPhone and iPad in sync with the iCloud system.

I have created a number of Apple i/d's that now seem make my records confused. I'm often forced to reset passwords; like today: I tried to log in to use my icloud email address and had to reset the password - again even though I had used for my apple ID minutes before!!. When I tried to log into iCloud I got a message that for security reasons I needed to reset may pass word. I have tried to do that 3 different times. Each time I get this email:The password for your Apple ID has been successfully reset.If you didn’t make this change or if you believe an unauthorized person has accessed your account, go to iforgot.apple.com to reset your password immediately. Then sign in to My Apple ID to review and update your security settings.
However, when I try to login to iCloud I keep getting the same message that the password has been disabled. I can not figure what is going on as I was able to login to this forum with the new password.

I don't know why but a recently I've been asked to enter my icloud password related to my iCloud e-Mail address. stupidly, I've forgot what my password is. is there a chance to reset it somehow?Â
To explain the situation a bit better and what I've tried already, here a short discription of the situation:Â
- I do have a appleID that is called firstname.lastname@gmail.com the related password is appleID_Password1.
with this combination I also conduct my purchases in iTunes and the AppStore. But to rule this possibility already out: It doesn't let me access my iCloud eMail account in Apple Mail. Funny enough, though, when visiting iCloud.com this is the combination with which I log onto iCloud incl it's mail service within the web browser.Â
- the iCloud eMail address for whose password I am looking is called something like abcde@me.com. I have implemented it into my Apple Mail program running on Mac OS X Lion. Since setting up the account i've never ever been asked to enter my password. But now, out of a sudden, I was. And, of course, I couldn't remember it anymore. Hence, I don't receive any eMails sent to abcde@me.com anymore on my mac.Â
Can somebody tell me how to fix it, if it is not the password for my appleID??

I recently changed my apple ID password and now I can't log in to the icloud system preferences on my iMac or the App Store on my iMac. I've recently installed Lion and moved to iCloud. I have iCal set up with iCloud and it syncs with my iPad.In the iCloud System Prefs Pane, which I'd not looked at before, I have Calendars ticked, but when I click on Sign Out, I get a message telling me: "If you stop using iCloud for Calendars and Reminders, calendars and reminders stored in iCloud will be removed from this Mac."This seems to me to indicate that the message generator can't see my tick next to Calendars. Or is it that one isn't meant to sign out in this Pref Pane.?

Writing this on behalf of my dad who is not that technical, he is the one having this problem. First he noticed that mail in his the mail.app was not working. He then tried logging into iCloud on the web but could not. He has one Apple ID which won't allow you to login anywhere, not iCloud, nor even this Apple Support Page.The Apple ID and password are definately correct and have never been changed. We have tried going to [url] to reset the password. After entering the Apple ID and hitting next, then selecting the option to answer security questions, first question, date of birth, comes back and says date of birth does not match records. So went back and selected email authentication. It then says that an email has been sent. The problem here is that he cannot access his email to receive the email notification. Mail is not working because of the problem with the account. Also cannot log into iCloud either to receive the email. I don't really want to create a new Apple ID, as this will cause a lot of hassle.Â
