I have Microsoft publisher 2010, it seems like Mac can not open the DVD to run? Can you use Microsoft publisher on a Mac, if not what can I use to work in files I have created with Publisher?

I went to Office Depot and asked the cashier, when purchasing, if it would work for Mac. She said "yeah." Well, I'm thinking I didn't get the right info.
So now I feel like I am stuck with this. I had bought it because I was needing to open some Publisher docs sent to me, and the free trials online didn't seem to work.
I have set up the imac with parallels and loaded xp pro and some software, one of which is Publisher from the Office 2003 suite. I have a HP 8550n colour laser printer attached to the imac via the parallel port on a port replicator and this prints fine when printing from the imac side of the story. When I go into parallels and xp pro and Publisher and create a document it simply wont print. There is only one printer attached to the imac at the moment, the document seems to leave the screen (as such) but it never gets to the printer.

I just started using Autocad 2010 on this computer, and for some reason, the "delete" key doesn't delete anything when I press it. I tried to set "pickfirst" to 1 (checking the box of "noun/ verb"), but it doesn't help. Setting them both to <0> and <1> don't make a difference, both options don't "delete" the selected object.

I had lots of other problems with kernel issues and was in and out of the Genius Store like a hen on an egg, but now I am trying to use the DVD drive and it doesn't work. It doesn't recognize any applications to open it, not Toast, not Disk Utility, and it has a hard time recognizing music CDs also.Not only does it not recognize it on the desktop, it simply spits the disk out. I purchased new DVD-RW and tried to write an .iso image to the DVD, and it won't work. Sad fact is that this is now past the warranty and I am stuck with this. The Mac Mini 2010 version was expensive, and the only reason I bought it was because of the drive because I didn't have one.

I've had this email account with AT&T for a few years and it has worked with Mac Mail with no difficulty for a few years. Recently the account has been able to receive messages. Every time I hit Get Mail it asks for a password. I have installed all the latest updates through Software Update. I have a Mac Mini with OS Lion. After struggling for awhile, my inbox eventually comes in. I have reset all the incoming and outgoing POP Server accounts, as well as used the Web-mail version through [URL] and it all works fine.

Ever since I installed Lion I have had a problem opening attachments to emails which are videos. Most of them I can open with VLC and a few with WMV Player, but none with Quick Time. If they are on my iPad or iPhone I can open them with VLC and send them to others. If they are on my Macbook Air I cannot send them because the email goes without the attachment.
