Oct 16, 2010I ask for forgiveness since now if I'm posting something that already exists and I couldn't find, but I wasn't able to find any helpful resource to fix my problem.
I've always used Mail and I like it. I have three addresses, one of the provider, the other two belongs to my personal domain. They've always worked fine.
Since two months they suddenly stopped to send e-mails. The error says there's a problem with smtp server. I tried to change smtp settings, I've edited mail settings, tried to set up another account and tried to download another app for mail: always the same problem. My mother, that has a mac too and an e-mail account with our provider, doesn't have any problem. So I tried to copy those settings on my MacBook Pro.. nothing.

Jun 23, 2012After the latest iPhoto update a week or so ago, my ability to e-mail from iPhoto has stopped.I get an error:Â "Your email did not go through because the server did not reply.Check your Internet connection. If the connection is working properly, the email server may be down. Try sending your email again later."Â This is not the case, standard mails work fine and I have removed and added 2 different types of e-mail addresses in iPhoto and its the same (one a .me and one a sky.com) I have diabled the firewall (just in case) but still no joy.

May 31, 2012I've been pretty slack since moving over to my mac book pro but now I find my inbox with roughly 500 emails in it and 80% would be junk from various sites I'm signed up for. I now have flagged all of these address that are spaming me as junk however the only email that moves to the junk folder are the ones I'm individually tagging as junk, the older emails, from the same address remain behind. Is there a way to delete my entire inbox of these junk mails without going through each mail individually?

May 27, 2012when watching a show from my itunes library on my ipad and also on my apple tv, the home share connection will just quit. then i have to restart my ipad, or the apple tv. can't figure out what is wrong. i once got an error message "-3150 " when i had to restart the home share on my main computer. but then I restarted the computer and it worked again. getting cut off in the middle of a show is no fun.

Apr 29, 2012I have two Magic Mouse(s) and both worked fine from day one - early last year, and both now act up constantly with the same symptoms. I am among those who believe it has something to do with Lion. When I boot up, they don't get recognized and when I go to Mouse and search for bluetooth devices - sometimes they are found and most of the time they are not. I can reboot and sometimes get the mouse but often do not. Â
I know about adding the paper to help cushion the batteries, hasn't helped. I have the Advanced setting to wake computer with mouse. I saw some reference to booting with a control option and deleting some setting but can't find out exactly what that is all about. Love using this mouse, especially swiping, and want to make it work. Â
Right now I have one of those huge "ergonomic" bricks in my palm and can't stand it!

Apr 14, 2012After recent upgrade to Lion OS I have trouble running Lightroom 4 and Photoshop CS 6 Beta. Lightroom 4 frequently crashes upon opening. Photoshop CS 6 is unable to open an image file from Finder, Bridge or Lightroom and also freezes up. iMac no longer recognizes wireess keyboard strokes. Have tried disk utility repairs and various restarts with key strokes to reset but they don't work after a short while.

Jul 4, 2012I have recently discovered that some of the mails the I send out do not appear in the "sent" folder. Thats particularly annoying when you are writing business mail, however, i have looked all over, it doesnt seem to be there with some mails. Some of the sent mails which disappears do contain attachments. The mails also are going out and are being recieved by the receiver. We are talking about an IMAP account at my ISP here, of course I use all the latest software updates etc. I have some 8 email accounts in my system and its only some of the mails, maybe 20% that disappear.Â

Aug 9, 2010I had to dissassemble my wireless Mighty Mouse to clean it properly, as the trackball was unable to scroll up and down. As I had cleaned the trackball, I attached the two internal cables to their respective "slots" again and assembled the mouse.
Now my right button does the same as the left button (right click = left click). I tried dissassembling the mouse again, but I cannot see what I could have done wrong. After all, there are only two cables to attach and de-attach inside it.

Feb 12, 2007I just bought a mighty mouse, happy as I was, plugged it in and started my ibook running OS X 10.3.9.I know the mighty mouse shouldn't have full functionality (as the software delivered with it is >10.4.2).The problem is that the right click doesn't work right. When I try to right click it sometimes takes the right click, sometimes takes it as a left click (which is extremely annoying in firefox or finder).
I have SteerMouse (I'm a windows/linux user too) installed but when I de�nstalled it the problem remained.
When I plugged the mighty mouse in my pc (at that time running windows) right click just worked.When using a cheap mouse (from pleomax) the right click on the ibook (with Steermouse installed) works all the time.
I find this al really confusing. Seems like it can't be the hardware because it works on windows, but it can't be the software because another mouse does work.
I noticed that when right clicking at the total right side near the "expose-button" (not a position my fingers lay naturally) right click works all the time. I don't hope this is normal?
