OS X V10.7 Lion :: Epson PM 300 SHOW Doesn't Appear To Be Compatible With It

I'm feeling a bit like a ping-pong ball with my brand new $250 paperweight, otherwise know as the Epson Picturemate 300 SHOW compact printer. I dumped Canon because they stopped supporting the Selphy 780 after about 2 years. That said, when I try to add the SHOW, Apple "says" their is no compatible software and to check with the printer manufacturer. So i check with Epson....they say check with APPLE!

I have upgraded my MacBook pro to Lion. Since this latest upgrade, my epson perfection 2480 scanner is not compatible with the latest upgrade. How do I make sure that whatever I buy now is compatible?

I have just updated my Mac Pro to OS X 10.9.3, then my Epson Scan driver cannot work anymore... (Though the printer works...)
My Epson belongs to the "Epson Stylus SX 430" series, according to here:OS X: Printer and scanner software available for download this all-in-one machine should be compatible with OS X 10.9.3, but I can not find the proper driver software... I have downloaded some new softwares from official web. of Epson, but it did not work... It seems that Epson did not have a effective software for OS X 10.9.3....Â

I have a Epson Stylus C45 printer USB and It is not fully compatible with Mac OS X 4.4 specially ref. printing preferences, so I have searched over the internet and found a driver. I am able to choose only Standard, for example. Is there any other driver better than CUPS+Gutenprint v5.0.0-rc1?

I was at the genius bar today and was told to do a recovery of lion. To hold down option key while starting and then pick the recovery drive and follow instructions after a few hours it went back to the start of asking for my apple id info again the computer didnt ever show the progress bar moving i exited and atempted to start and just sat at the white apple screen and never moved i then have started the process again... How long should this take before seeing any progess on the progress bar? When computer does restart will it come up he usual log in screen or not?

I recently upgraded to Lion from Snow Leopard. Â
The problem is that Mail version 5.2 (1257) doesn't show html content or attachments. Even Apple's own templates from the application itself doesn't show correctly.Â
I've made sure that the "show remote html content in the Preferences is checked. Â
I've also tried to rebuild the mailboxes without any changes. Html-content and pictures stil doesn't show. Is there a command for the Terminal that can fix this? MBP 15" 2.2 GHz (10.7.2) 4GB RAM

I received my new iMac 27" yesterday and as it has Lion pre-installed I ran Software Update to check.It did this OK, but then my second attempt it had an issue with one of the files and wont complete.Since then when I clcik install items it minimises to the doc, but no sign of progress and does nothing (it seems)Â How can I get this to work properly again as it should?Â

I'm trying to install OS X Lion from my external hard drive but when it gets to the point where you have to choose the hard drive it's going to be installed on, my MBP hard drive doesn't pop up. Only the external hard drive.

So, basically, ever since Lion, my external harddrive has had trouble being found while using the USB slot in the Airport Extreme. Anyway, so the HDD can be seen in the Airport Utility under Disks but I actually cannot access it through Finder. I have ticked the boxes to show External Harddrives in Finder and all that, so I am pretty connfused. All I use it for is watching movies off and TV shwos so I can save space on my MacBook Pro. So yeah, no Time Machine stuff which I usally see about this topic Â

I am using Apple Mail on my Mid 2010 iMac (27", 3.6 GHz i5, 12 Gig RAM, 10.8.5)Â and have recently run into a bit of strangeness. I shut down the iMac every evening, without shutting down Mail. Mail opens on startup, as expected. However, my list of emails is not current, with the latest email from about 1AM that morning. I know this is the case because I see many more recent emails on my iPhone. When I quit Mail and restart it, all the emails show up. How I can get Mail back to its old behavior, namely showing me all emails in my inbox on startup? Â

This button allowed (in Snow Leopard and even in Tiger) to see the final page full size, or even to save as a PDF file. This functionality is sadly missing on my computer since I have upgraded to LION, making me regret the move. Is there some pref somewhere that I should adjust, or just plainly forget about it. ? When I print, the dialog window does NOT show the Preview button anymore.
I am on a MacBook Pro 17".

I copied some file from one external drive to another and the folders doesn't show an arrow which I could click to show the contents of the folder. When I do get info it doesn't show the size of the folder but the hard drive that I copied from does. How do you make it show the arrow and size?

After I installed Epson Printer software version 2.1 and I totally lost the communication to Epson V700 Scaner, the scanner keep reset the power. Â
Finally the error message: Cannot communicate with the scanner. Â

i own a mid 2010 i5 MacbookPro was purchased with applecare. When i checked warranty status a month ago it said apple extended coverage until august 6th 2013. Logged in today and it doesn't show applecare anymore :S anyone care to explain? now showing august 3rd 2010 coverage. I didn't even buy/register machine till 6th:S

I'm not sure if it's called "Preview", the standard program for viewing pictures in Tiger. But when I open a .gif file with, for example 36 frames, it won't play the animation. I can select every frame but it won't play the whole animation. I already checked the Help menu, but it didn't work. I can drag the file to Safari, but that's not the way I want to view .gif files.

I accidentally removed my HD from under the Devices folder in Finder when I was trying to drag and drop songs into iTunes. I assume there must be an easy way to get it to show up there again, I just am not sure what that is. It got dragged into whatever folder I was in in Finder and just kinda poof it was gone...

I have an Intel-based system that I have already repartitioned to give me 40GB for OSX. I am using a disk by the name of "iAKTOAS" or something like that. I have already gone through Disk Utility to try and format my unused partition, but it doesn't show up.
-How can I partition that "free" partition in Windows XP?
-What program should I use to do this, preferably free?
-How is the MBR going to work? How should I set the system up to allow me to choose from XP or OSX?
-What else do I need to know about OSX "Journaled", "Extended", or just "OSX"?

I've used Seagate FreeAgent Pro 500 Gb. It has been divided into 2 partitions. one is used for time machine, another is used for keeping my important data. I think that the Finder should show both partitions on the left, but it shows only Time machine .
I regularly run software update. As I can remember, it has ever shown two partitions. I don't know whether this is related to software updating or not. If it is 'yes', how can I solve it?

I just got a new flash drive and it worked fine on my iMac yesterday, and now suddenly it no longer appears on the Desktop or anywhere else on the computer that I can find. But when I pulled it out of the USB drive, it said the device was not removed properly, so it must have recognized something was connected.

I bought a WD 2TB external HD to upgrade my home network. It goes with a Belkin DB N600 (f9k1102) router, a MB, a PC laptop, 2 iphones, 2 ipods, and a new ipad. I created partition for 1.5TB formatted as mac os x (to match the HD on my MB) and .5TB as ms-dos fat (to allow some windows programs and games). I got that set up and when plug the USB in to my mac I see both formatted drives, but when I plug it into my router to access wirelessly it only shows the windows portion of the HD. I went to WD and then to Belkin where I found were it says that the router only supports FAT 16, FAT32, and NTFS. I'm I missing something? It sounds like Belkin products don't support mac os?
