Jun 28, 2012I purchased three books and downloaded them onto my computer. I now want to read them on my computer not my iPhone and I do not have an iPad. I was told that an icon next to the books purchased indicates that it's for the ipad or iphone only. I had no idea that this was the case when I purchasd them.
1) can I return these?
2) If not, is there a way to read them on my computer that I may not be aware of - e.g. an app for the computer?Â

Jun 18, 2012I wonder how I can recover the music and Apps that I already bought from iTunes store. I lost my iPod and I want to check for the music and the Apps I bought since I am thinking in buying a new iPod, but there are not in my iTunes. I tried all I could try to get them back but nothing. I check the list of the thing I bought from Apple Store through iTunes and some of the music and Apps are in the list, couldn't find how to downloads again, but not all the music or Apps were there.

Jan 7, 2011Sometimes I will notice the audio is out of sync on my iTunes store bought videos. Rebooting the computer helps until the next time. This really started to become a problem over the last few months. This is a 15" MBP, 2009 bought in March, 4GB ram. Storage is on a 1TB WD drive in a LaCie 2 big tripple enclosure with firewire. No extra software installed and the computer is only used for iTunes and internet. Has all updates.

I want to make my iMac the master and sync info to my MBP. Particularity the address book, ical and selected itunes playlists. I use Sugarsync to sync files.
I have tried synctogether 1.0.3 but it keeps quitting. I tried google for contacts sync but everytime I try I get duplicates and my contacts get trashed so I have to go back to a backup.

Apr 9, 2012I have recently purchased a new iMac with Lion. It will not open any of the PDF;s that I had stored and stransferred from my previous iMac which used Tiger becasuse those PDF's were opened with Adobe Reader, which Lion apparently doesn.'t support. Yet almost all aricles on the web that give you the option of saving them as PDF's require the use of Adobe Reader. Is there any way around this, or is there simply no way to read and save PDF's with Lion?

Mar 12, 2012my 2009 13" MBP (OS X 10.6.8, Optiarc DVD RW AD-5960S) won't accept some purchased/rented DVDs. The drive makes funny noises (mrrrrrp-mrrrrp....) for 1-2 minutes and then ejects the DVD. The DVD cannot be ejected manually during that time.OS and software are up to date, lens is clean, hardware has been checked, same DVDs will play on my linux box, on stand-alone players and on several win boxes. The problem occurs with some DVDs only (1/3 of all rented/purhased DVDs). Some won't play in 9 out of 10 tries and then suddenly will.Is there a solution for this?

It didn't come with the Lion USB so I can't do a reinstall if I wanted. Now when I sign in to the App Store and try to download iPhoto or Garageband, I can't. It says something about my profile not being allowed to download it as the download is attached to another account, presumably the previous owner.So how am I able to download iPhoto? I don't mind paying for it, but it still won't let me as the only option I get is "Download".Â
