ITunes :: Some Movies Bought On IMac Not Transferring To IPhone / IPad
May 15, 2012
I've bought several movies on ITunes store with the same user and when I Sync my PC with my IPhone and IPad some movies didn't transfer to my devices. I have checked if my devices has space or if I select the specific movies to be transfer.
On my macbook I had an account that was hooked up to itunes, but now i cannot log into that account at all on the mac, leaving me no choice but to delete the account. but before I do that, i am just trying to get all my itunes stuff into a new itunes library on a new user. i figured out how to redownload music but not movies .
Since I bought my new Mac, the movies in my iTunes library only play the sound when I press play - no picture!  This is true of both the movies I transferred over from my old computer, and movies I have since downloaded form the iTunes store. What should I do?
I bought a movie Bolt, for my son on itunes. I am trying to write this movie to a DVD as we are going on holiday and I want to take it with me. When I go to uDVD it tells met to first go to iMovie, share, media browser. However, when I do that, the options media browser is not available to choose. Last night I was able to write the movie to the DVD by opening iDVD, choosing file, burn to DVD from movie. However, it burned the DVD with sound but no picture. Obvsiouly it is encoded or something but I cannot figure out how to get this right!
We are gonig tomorrow and I need to do this tonight! I am not very computer literate!
So I have movies that I have purchased off of iTunes stored on my mac, they are actually on an external hard-drive, but I can no longer access my stored movies from my iPad. the message "request timed out" appears after a short while of waiting.
This is my first time on here and I have only just bought a MacBook Pro (1st one) so sorry if this has been answered elsewhere.Â
I have an iPad 2 and an iPhone 4 - everything I have bought on iTunes has synced with my Mac and mobile devices. All my music, pictures TV shows and books have also synced with mobile devices and MacBook but for some reason the films I have purchased I need to buy again!!Â
I recently bought a mac and transferred all my music over from my iphone, but i messed up and deleted the user account that had all of that info on it. is there any way to get that back or transfer my music and pictures back to my computer from my iphone?
I got a new iPhone 4s 6 months ago, and connected it to iTunes on my PC. However, now I have gotten a new macbook pro. I would like to sync my phone to my new computer. I took the time to add the contents of my library onto my new iTunes. However, I really don't want to lose contacts, notes, pictures, etc. from my iPhone.
I am wanting to transfer some photos onto my iPhone4 from iPhoto. I think I have done this before a few years back but I can not figure it out for the life of me.
I've been syncing my devices for years, but after I updated to iTunes 10.6 then attempted to sync my iPhone 4, iTunes aborts and does not complete the sync. I tried my iPad as well with exactly the same results. So, I expect that something has begun corrupted in iTunes and I tried to revert to the previous version of iTunes with Time machine, but the Mac reported that I cannot remove iTunes. It could be a library that is corrupt or a cache of some sort, but I can't tell.Â
I have a HD movie that I bought from iTunes and when I want to sync the movie to my 4S, it only shows the SD version in itunes under the iphone 4s movie sync tab. It shows the HD version if I launch it from my imac, but for some reason I can't get it to sync the HD version to the 4S.Â
I did originally buy the HD movie on my 4S but had to download it at home on my mac due to large file sizes.Â
Any reason why my imac can see the HD movie but neither my iphone 4s or ipad 2 can sync the hd movie?Â
I've noticed this since iTunes 10.6 where the album art on my music, iTunes purchased or imported, doesn't get transferred over to my iPhone 4S (5.0.1) nor my iPhone 4 (5.1) with "Convert higher bitrate songs to XXX kbps AAC" checked in iTunes.Â
I've tried transferring with Lion and Windows 7 under Bootcamp (both OS are using the latest iTunes 10.6.1) and both are doing the same thing.Â
Is this a bug that Apple is missing (anywhere to send bug reports)?
Plugged it into my MacBook, updated the iTunes software. But I can't transfer any of the music without syncing! I tried to drag files to the iPhone but it doesn't let me.
I download apps DIRECTLY to my iPhone and iPad 2 I do not download via iTunes.
When I plug in my iPad or phone (device from now on) and sync it in iTunes, it transfers and backups MY purchases fine. However the left window pane does not show the INSTALLED apps.
Theres only a list of apps, none with check marks , even if they are present on the phone or iPad. If select sync apps, it tells me it will DELETE all the apps on my device.Â
Am I doing something wrong, or is there a way to make iTunes place a check mark or recognize what IS ALREADY on my device with out having to start from scratch and delete all my apps by forcing me To manually select what apps I want installed on my device (which are already on my device!) Â Am I missing a step someplace? Shouldn't my library on my device show up on the left side of ITunes pane with apps INSTALLED already checked?Â
I have an App that I would like to keep in my iTunes library, but only Sync to my iPad -- not my iPhone. Right now, the App has been 'deselected' from my iPhone, but the associated file size did not decrease. My iPhone still has 1GB more than I would like. How can I remove the App and it's file from my iPhone, but preserve it on my iPad?
My ipad or iphone will not sync with my Macbook pro. This is the first "windoze" type I have ever had with an apple product. Been using them since Mac SE.Â
Itunes hangs if opened but does not hang if I connect as a guest on my macbook. I have deleted libraries, reinstalled Itune but nothing changes.
Why I can not sync 720p movies on my iphone 3gs? When I try to sync by selecting the film does not give me any error message but then there isn't on the iPhone.
Info: iMac (24-inch Early 2009), Mac OS X (10.7.3)
iTunes 10.6 quits when syncing iphone 3g or ipad 2 on imac with os 10.7.3. iTunes seems to work OK until syncing one of the two devices is in progress.
Crashes with ipad when syncing by wifi or usb cable.
Is there any way to permanently keep my iphone and iPad apps OFF of my macbook pro? Every time I connect, I ensure that "sync apps" is not checked, but then iTunes says I will lose my purchases if I don't transfer them over. This does not seem to be the case, however- aren't all of your app purchases automatically registered on iCloud? So I click transfer purchases, but this of course then puts EVERY APP onto my iTunes, which takes up a whopping 36GB of space. I can't afford to have that much space taken up! Should I just ignore the iTunes warning, or is there another way to ensure that iTunes doesn't keep these seemingly useless and HUGE backups on my macbook?
