on my mac I have noticed on the menu bar the drop down menus font has changed when you hover of an option. But it is only on the Finder or right clicking on the desktop or right clicking on an app icon.

After opening a MSfile the Leopard top menu when using Microsoft Word 2008 has been changed to Chinese. This issue only happen with this product and not with the rest of the Microsoft tools that I have installed in my MacBook (example: Powerpoint). I'm including a print screen (as you can see only the iOS menu is changed to Chinese and not the software menu). I extremely need to change it back to English!

So much to my surprise, I open up my gmail account and it's practically unintelligible. Some weird cartoon like font is my default font. As far as I can tell, all the default fonts are activated and all the settings point to the activated fonts, but this is driving me absolutely F__KING bonkers. Has anyone ever had this problem? Now to be fair, I did install some fonts from a semi questionable font disk a week or two ago, so maybe some rogue font has hijacked my web fonts.

On windows you just right click the desktop > appearance and bang. How can I do it on the mac? View 8 Replies View RelatedI've realized that sometimes I "lose" my wireless signal. I am not using an AirPort router (I'm using Linksys, if that's at all helpful). I've noticed that suddenly all of the wireless signals disappear from the AirPort menu up on the menu bar, except the network that I am connected to (i.e., I only see my router's name there). It also becomes impossible for me to browse the internet, so what I've done to troubleshoot this is disable the AirPort, put the computer to sleep, and disconnect/reconnect my router. When I turn it on, it seems to work. I've also tried simply disabling and then re-enabling AirPort, but it doesn't work after that.

However if I look for it under the finder menu bar, the arrow beside service says 'building'. But I've been waiting for hours and it doesn't look like anything's happening.
