Recently, my email from my IMAC starting asking me for my Password. It won't accept my PW however, I can go to Icloud and check my email that way (with same password info). Does anyone have any ideas of how I can resolve as I would prefer to check email from the Mail icon on my homescreen???

it seems that mails are received through incoming server and outgoing server which i'm quite not familiar with.

I am missing the icon on my taskbar in mail for sending attachments, and it is not in the customize taskbar part of my mail program. Where did it go, or how do I restore it since it is missing?

I have several email accounts with different SMTP settings. So I may want to use the account from time to time but I don't need to be checking mail and downloading all the accounts. How can I set up a mail group to check mail from several accounts - but exclude one of the accounts (its duplicated you see). I am using outlook 2010.

For some reason, my mail icon is no longer showing my badge icon displaying the number of unread emails I have. Within mail, next to my mailbox, it no longer shows the number of unread emails either even though there are clearly email messages with the blue dot indicating they're unread.

I have a weird experiencing problem I have to shut email down and restart it to check on new email
when I tab the new e-mail icon it only checks for a 1/10 of a second not enough time to check server  so i shut down e-mail restart and finds new email
so question is were do i change in setting for e-mail to search a little longer

I cannot send mail. This has been an occasional problem. I'd send and a pop-up would offer me choice: Cancel, ~Trash, or Save as Draft. I'd save and successfully send as a draft. The last few days I've had to the saved draft and send in Eudora. Today I spent some time on this. At first it looked all right in Mail/Preferences/Accounts, smtp.west.cox.net.user name--then it persistently included (Offline), but Mail menu bar/ Window showed Take All Accounts Online dimmed and Take All Accounts Offline as the active option. At this time I could receive but not send mail. I have edited the smtp server list a number of times. No show of offline there. When I'm done (Offline) again pops up on theOutgoing Mail Server (SMTP). I deleted the account and recreated it and could not send. The (Offline) did not appear after the smtp.cox.net.user name. Early 2006 iMac, OS 10.6.8  The settings are OK, the same as in Eudora.

Lately all I've been seeing in the Applications tab is a list of my apps with check/uncheck marks next to them. The Homescreen view that should be right next to that is simply not there. I used to use powerpoint 2007 for the presentations at the uni and I really like it. I also tried Keynote which in my opinion creates better looking animations and slightly better looking slide shows.
But Keynote does not have SmartArt Graphics which in my opinion reduce great amount of time when creating a slide show.
How do you cope with lack of SmartArt Graphics?
And what are your reasons for using Keynote not the Powerpoint?
