I am running a PB g4 with 10.4 When I start Safari, it takes forever to load. I then try typing a letter into google search, or to log into any site or change the site. then it freezes and "unexpectedly closes"
View 3 RepliesIt is Sat 6/23/12 @ 8pm EST and I can't access "You Tube" on Safari or Firefox. They both open on You Tube for 3 seconds and then crash.
(continually) Does this mean there's lot's of traffic on You Tube or is there something I need to do to my computer to make it more efficient?
I have an iphone and ipods. I have tried several times to sync each one and every time I get to step 2 or 3 out of 7 or 8 and then itunes "quits unexpectedly"

why safari closes itself in my macbook?

Am I imagining it, or did Cmd-W use to close the active tab only? Now when I want to close a tab,I hit Cmd-W and suddenly my entire Safari window closes.I notice in the File Menu that Cmd-W is set to close window and there is now no keyboard shortcut to close a tab.When did this change and why? Basically I'll just be online, using Safari and suddenly it "quits unexpectedly." There's no one thing that I do that makes this happen either. The problem started yesterday, the software does this about every half hour to an hour or so, a box pops up and says Safari quitted unexpectedly whiling using emergencyrecoverysystem.tmp, the problem is, this so called file does not even exist!! I used Easyfind trying to locate this file, but it's no where to be found. Did I get the virus or something?
