OS X Mountain Lion :: Epson Workforce 845 Printer Not Recognized After OS Upgrade To 10.7?
Dec 5, 2014
I recently upgraded our iMac OS to 10.7. Now the computer doesn't recognize the Epson Workforce 845 printer. I uninstalled the printer in system preferences. Now what do I do to install the printer again and use it wirelessly?
Info:
Mac OS X (10.6.8), 3.06 GHz, Core2Duo, 4GB 800 MHz RAM
I purchased an Epson Workforce 4530 all in one printer. Using this machine, so far, is less than an all in one experience with OS Lion. I seem to be unable to fax from my computer, and scanning from the computer via wifi connection requires I use Image Capture, rather than the Epson software. Using Image Capture to scan multipage documents is less than desirable as it scans each page as an individual image/file.
We just purchased an Epson Workforce 845 all-in-one printer to use with our 24" iMac. The OS is 10.6.8, with the Supplemental 1.1 update installed. Some printing options such as printing only the "selection" are not available. What can be done to get these options when printing with a newly released Epson printer?Â

Has anybody setup the epson workforce 610 wirelessly with their new imac? I assumed this would be an easy bluetooth setup but its not working. Do I have to hook the printer up my airport?
I have noticed for few days, that since I have upgraded to OS X 10.7.3 I cannot open my scanner any more. Mac shows a message that says "it cannot open de applications installer because the application PowerPC is not compatible anymore" I have tried to search new drivers on Epson website but they still have the old ones.Is there any way I can scan documents again or I have to change printer. The printer works fine to print documents from any Mac application. It is just the scanner that does not open.
I have Mac OS 10.7.3 I keep getting the message 'there was problem connecting to server epson 6649b7. I go to that printer, which was never an active printer, but it will not allow me to delete it. The only option I am given is resume printing / supply levels / printer setup. Even if I correctly choose Epson WF600 as my default printer, I still get that message popping up constantly.

Just out of the blue, I can't print using my epson 600, a multi use printer that I have set up on my network.
The strange thing is my scaning driver is there and working, but my wireless printer is not there. I can see my Epson Printer, but its not the wireless driver, its the older driver for using the cable.
I have a new MacBook Pro running on Lion and an older Epson stylus photo printer/scanner RX420. I downloaded a new driver from Epson and can now print but the scanner still doesn't work.

I got a new MacBook Pro with 10.7 (updated to 10.7.3 now). I'm running the printer through Airport Express's USB.It was working fine, but at some point, I'd get the interminable "Finding printer". I could be misremembering though, and maybe it never worked with 10.7, though I think it did!
I tried to deselect the printer driver and re-select. I stupidly deleted the driver (or perhaps just removed it from the Print & Scan window? and now I can't get it back again (via the HP site). The HP site maintains that the driver comes with 10.6 and I assume the same works with 10.7 -- is this a correct assumption.

I have an Epson NX 510 printer that I have been able to print on easily up until a few weeks ago. I have upgraded my Macbook Pro to OS X Lion so I got new printer software and still my computer wouldn't recognize the printer all the time. Sometimes I can print and sometimes I can't. What can I do?
just recieved my refurbished macbook air (2011) 2 weeks ago.Does it qualify for free upgrade to mountain lion ? The website only talked about "qualifying new mac system set..."
I wanted to download iBook Author. But it forces me to upgrade to Lion. If I update now, will I get the next OS i.e Mountain Lion for free, in view of the near release of Mountain Lion?

I saw the new Mountain Lion preview on WWDC 2012 today, and I am planning to upgrade ML when it comes out. I was just wondering if all the data and apps get transfered into the new ML OS when I upgrade from my Macbook Pro with OS X Lion?

I have a Brother MFC-9340CDW WIFI printer which my iMac says it can't find sometimes when I want to print. I think I have narrowed the problem down to when my MacBook Air is on at the same time and using WIFI on the same network If I turn off WIFI on the MacBook I can print from my IMac. I am not sure if it is a router problem or what but we use the iMac and MacBook Air at the same time quite often. Checked on the Brother website - nothing.Â
I have installed the generic PCL Laser Printer driver in order to use my Samsung ML-6060 printer, because Samsung no longer supports this printer for macs.Â
For several weeks the generic driver worked beautifully. Now I'm having a problem. When I print a document the printer puts out a blank page other than the letters OE in the upper left corner. The next page is the document itself. I tried uninstalling and re-installing the driver with no success.Â
P.S. I need to correct my computer description. I have returned to System 10.8.5 on my Mac Pro (early 2008) desktop.
