Some emails that I receive don't fit in the page viewing area. I have to use the scroll feature at the bottom to see the entire email. Is this fixable to get the email to fit in the space provided with no acrolling sideways?

The printing area is smaller than the page I want to print, 3 or 4 columns are on an other page to the right of the print area that I can print, I am not great on excel but would like to move the printing area so it can take all of it.

I'm having some problems publishing a site I've created in iWeb 08.
When I publish the page I notice that the colour of the page doesn't take up the whole visible area in the web browser (it appears to be "pillar boxed" with a white bar on the right and left of the screen). Is there any way to apply the page colour to this area?
I noticed I have one small pixel that seems extremely bright, particularly when viewing a web page with a white background. I do not see any problems with the pixel when on a dark background. I think I can live with one weird pixel problem, but in case I wanted to exchange my Air for one that does not have a pixel issue, will the Apple store allow it? Also, what's the likelihood that the Apple store would have the "ultimate" version of the 11.6"? If they do not and I have to order a new one, do they allow me to continue using my current one until the new one arrives (similar to what Dell does for their customers)?
View 13 Replies View RelatedI need to figure out how to access the logo image that was included in the second section of the header in a template document in Word 2004. Originally, the template was made to have two pages... with the header on each page unique. Now, the template has been changed to one page. When a document is created based on the template and a second page appears because the length of content is forcing a second page, the header on the 2nd page shows up with the one originally designed for the second page. I'd just like to find where this image is 'stored' in Word so that I can change it to something else. How do I do this?

View 6 Replies View RelatedI have a Gmail and Exchange accounts set up in the Mail app,...The Gmail account is working fine, but suddenly today (with no setting changes or updates) when I select certain messages in the exchange account, it crashes Mail with the below trace. It only happens on some message and not others. I can't find any distinction between the crashing messages and the ok ones. Note that I have already tried rebuilding mailboxes and even deleting the entire account and re-adding it. The problem persists and makes it impossible to use Mail as my Exchange client.

I have a Mac Air running Mavericks on a HFS partition and Windows 7 on a BOOTCAMP NTFS partition. I have some files that I want to read/write from/to both systems. Since OS X can't write NTFS and Windows can't write HFS either, and I don't want to use any 3rd-party tools/drivers, in OS X, I copy those files from NTFS to its HFS partition, make changes, then switch to Windows and sync them back to NTFS.
The problem is, after I copied a file from NTFS to HFS in OS X, it seemed ok. But when I switched to Windows, the very copied file in HFS partition had its size changed (bigger) although I didn't make any changes to it in OS X yet. This happens to almost every file I copied, text and binary. For those text files, I tried to open it with EditPlus in Windows and EditPlus reports the correct size on the status bar.

Restarting the program seems to wake it up, but I'm not content to do that each time I need to check my email. I have Mail on my MacBook Pro and have never had this particular problem, it's just on my brand new iMac.

Bought a new 13" Macbook Pro w/ Retina Display back in June, and ever since I set it up, I've been having issues with mail. Both issues relate to deleting messages, so I figure they're likely related.
First thing is, sometimes when I delete emails, close the program, they magically reappear in my inbox when I reopen mail.
The second thing is, if I close mail right after deleting an email, it gives an error message like 'The message “...” could not be moved to the mailbox “Trash — On My Mac”' and 'An error occurred while moving messages to mailbox “Trash — On My Mac”.
This never happened on my last Macbook Pro, which was the mid-2009 model, even though both laptops run Mavericks. I'm assuming that it's some setting that I'm not aware of causing this issue. I thought it was the fact that my iCloud account was set up to work with Mail, but I turned that off, and it's still doing this.
One of the funny things I've noticed, is that under Mail Activity, it will say "Incoming messages 12 of 48" or whatever number at the time, even when there are no new messages. It never did this on my last laptop.

How do I block unwanted emails.

I opened up mail today to find that my entire inbox has been totally wiped. This is quite inconvenient for many reasons, but I'm not sure how to fix it. I still have the emails in my outbox, sent and drafts folder, but there is nothing to be found in my inbox. It doesn't appear as if my emails are in the trash anywhere either.I'm with telus, for what it's worth,and I'm running 10.9.2.

I have a number of email accounts, most of them IMAP.
It seems recently (say the past month) its been very slow. The Activity windows shows the accounts seems to just not move. They do eventually process but it takes a long time. They will sit for a minute on stuff like:
"Opening mailbox"
"Getting unread counts"
"Checking status of mailbox"
It seems sometimes they are fast, but when an account gets "stuck" it just takes forwever........
Shutting Mail down (or trying to reboot) takes a long time because it always has to wait for these processes to try and finish.
Perhaps the bigger problem (maybe related maybe not) is that sometimes when I send an email, there is not record of that email. Its not placed in any Sent folder, its not uploaded to the IMAP account. However, they do seem to be actually sent. I *think* this may account while Mail is "stuck" trying to process an account, but I'm not sure....
I have tried Rebuilding all the IMAP folders (not all my offline folders). I have deleted the Envelope files to have Mail reindex.

I have done a Virus scan with ClamX and removed x3 Phising files and also a Malware scan and removed something called 'Genieo' omnibar.safariextz These are now all in trash.
I had to upload new driver for my Fuji Printer yesterday. Also was trying to do an online form for a Credit File firm who requested and online application. It was when I was trying to upload attachments to send to them for ID Documents and also their application form that this problem started and has now continued.

I now want to move my email folders on the new Mac from the separate user account into my other user account. Is that possible?
I could also solve this by migrating only my email folders from old imac into new imac "other user account" but i am not sure if that is possible.
