MacBook Pro :: Images Aren't Always Opening Up And Sometimes The Pages Open Up In An Outline?
Feb 28, 2012I have a MAC OSX 10.6.8. My images aren't always opening up and sometimes the pages openup in an outline fashion without all the images. Sometimes it doesn't open at all and I get a message that "safari can't open the page".......this has been happening a lot within the last week. What can I do to fix this?

Both are sync'd with my email address.When I delete emails on my iMac, they aren't deleted on my iPad like it was done on previous old computer (not Apple).Also, when I want to delete those emails on my iPad, I keep getting message stating "can't be moved"Â how to solve those 2 problems on deleting emails ?Â

Dec 4, 2014I've selected Recent Items in Finder Prefs to show 15 apps, documents etc., and it rarely shows more than 2 documents. And those 2 tend to be older files, not what I've been working on that day. I'm on Yosemite on an iMac.

We use this at the office to communicate between systems, and often send image files back and forth between co-workers. Recently though a bug began in which images don't actually show in line, but rather simply show the filename and a link to open it in Finder.
The weirdest part of the bug is that if the chat window is open in the background the image will display just fine. However as soon as I switch to make it active in order to respond or quicklook the image it immediately becomes the filename with the magnifying glass icon to direct me to it's location in finder.Â
Mac OS X Lion Server :: Netboot Images Not Showing On Clients?
Jun 6, 2012I have an up to date Lion server that I have created a 10.7.3 netboot image with. The issue I am having is that in Server Admin, the netboot image shows in the images list, but does not show up on any client machine. I have tried re-creating the image using the same hard drive, as well as creating an entirely new image. The images just will not show on client machines

May 6, 2008When I receive a jpg (not a jpeg) from a mac via email it wont open in either outlook or picture viewer etc (win xp). But if the same image is sent to any other PC (from the ma user) it opens OK.The added twist. If another pc user opens (which it does with no issues) then closes and sends back to the failing pc it opens with no issues!

May 14, 2012I have a mini and 5 other devices on the same apple ID. All of my existing photos made it to the photo stream when I originally signed up for icloud. Now, when we upload new photos from our camera onto our mini, they won't go to the cloud. I can't find the icloud icon anywhere on my mini anymore.

MacBook Pro :: Why Aren't CDs Playing
Dec 10, 2014I set the preferences to where the CD would automatically play when inserted but it still doesn't even show up on the desktop. Also I checked to see if it was a problem with the CD but it worked on other Macs. my version of iTunes is 12.0.1.

My problem is that if a MS Officer user tries to open .ppt, .xls and .doc files directly from the server, it won't work.

Safari :: Extensions Aren't Working In 5.1.7?
May 21, 2012Since I upgraded Lion to version 10.7.4 and Safari to 5.1.7 my safari extensions won't work. These aren't exotic extensions here, we're talking about 1Password and Evernote. When I launch Safari, I get a message saying that the extensions don't work with this version of the browser. I removed the extensions and tried to reinstall only to get a message saying that there was an error when trying to install (a truly usefull message, I might add).Â
Thinking that this might be an issue with a specific extension (1Password), I contacted the developer. Over the course of a week or ten days, we went through a series of steps to try to resolve the problem. None of these steps resolved the issue, then suddenly, for no obvious reason, the extensions started working UNTIL I have to restart my computer when it was physically relocated. Upon restarting and relaunching Safari, I got the same old message -- the extension won't work. When I tried to reinstall, the "error when trying to install" message popped up.
