I have a program (Extract Movie Sountrack) that will convert the compressed 320kbp Handbrake exported mpeg-4 file to AIFF so I can import into iTunes but I want an app that will do it uncompressed.

Apr 7, 2012Over the last couple of weeks the songs either on itunes or my ipod will skip to the next song half way through the song or about 10sec before the end.
The hard drive was recenty replaced but this has only just started.

OS X V10.7 Lion :: Cannot Input With Track Pad
Jun 5, 2012I am using MacBook Air with OSX Lion. I need to input Chinese characters using the track pad and I have set it up in the Preference > Language.
I called out Pages, started the track pad inputing area. I write on the track pad, it can display the stroke I write on the pad and suggested the characters. Then I choose the charater for input. However, nothing was input to the pages. The curser did not move. If I input using the keyboard, it is OK to input what I type. It just did not respond to the track pad.

Jun 9, 2012i have a macbook pro 13 inch 5,5. 2010 model about 2 days ago i started noticing some odd behaviour on my mbp trrackpad. the tap works fine but the click doesn't.would also like to state that my laptops battery had a health of over 90% suddenly dropped to 78 and then to 67. charging cycles=280. what can i do to bring it back up. are these two related (trackpad and battery one over the other) is there a fix?

Jun 13, 2012my trackpad is freaking out, it's possessed. It sticks, jumps all over and spazes out over every little move. my MacBookAir is around 9 monts old, kept very clean, no mess on the trackpad, clean hands/fingers and it's been going on for days now and I am about to stat freaking out too.

Jun 16, 2012I'm in a position where I have no way of clicking, this brings up a ridiculous problem I never thought I'd encounter whereby I can't even back up or fix the problem.
Ridiculous error if you ask me, there is an option to use universial access and turn on mouse keys but I can't click the stupid option.
How can I click/select items. Can't find any shortcuts that will allow me to do this, plugging in mouse still doesn't work.

Jun 20, 2014I have a silver 2010 MacBook Pro that has OS X 10.8.5.
2.5 GHz Intel Core i5
4GB 1600 MHz DDR3.
Now that you have that info, onto the issue.
My track pad will work to move the pointer, but I cannot click on anything. If I shut down and restart my computer, I am able to use a usb mouse just fine. If I so much as touch the track pad the usb mouse will only move the pointer and not click anything. I will have to restart the computer to be able to use the mouse again.
I have tried a SMC and a PRAM reset and it did not work. I did check the track pad settings and those are all ok. I am not sure if there is a way to do the AHT without a disk. I did look into some .plist thing to, but was not able to find what they were talking about so I did not do that.
OS X :: ITunes Missing Track Info?
Oct 20, 2010I have been using iTunes with PC for about 5 years or more and never really had any problems ripping my CD collection, even when I switched at one point to using dbpowerAMP and then importing into itunes manually. I'm using itunes to rip again now.
Now I have my first mac (mac mini 2010). I am starting to import parts of my CD collection that I never had room for on my old notebook PC.
So before I went to bed last night I tried to rip and import 3 CDs using itunes exclusively now to do the ripping because I have come to the realization that itunes plus AAC is good enough for my ears and especially my equipment (ipod classic 160gb & Senn PX-100's). Now these 3 CDs I know for a fact the iTunes Store sells and definitely has the artwork and track info for.
Well, the first 2 CDs loaded artwork and track info fine after I remembered to check in the settings about the artwork anyway..
Then comes the 3rd and newest CD I tried, Eagles OF Death Metal's "Heart On". I stick it in the mac mini's slot *giggles* and then the iTunes pane at the top center of the screen keeps scrolling and saying something like "searching for grace-note whatever".. Then after about 2 or 3 minutes of that it just gives up and acts like it doesn't know the CD and lists the songs as "track 1, track 2" etc..
Now this CD is immaculate. It has been ripped before on my PC with no problem. I double checked to make sure the iTunes store sells it because in the past I've had to download my own artwork if it's something they don't sell in their store.
So I'm at a loss here I don't want to have to enter all this info manually as I have about 500 CDs to rip and only being on number 3 I didn't know if it was just this one being trouble, or what to expect how many are going to do this?

Nov 7, 2008Alright, here goes my last two weeks. Two Sundays ago I was playing football with a couple friends. The game ended abruptly when I broke my leg and went to the hospital, but thats not the bad part. I was in the hospital for 6 hours and when I got home I found that someone had broken in and stolen my 32" Vizio flatscreen TV, xbox 360 elite, DVD player, and most importantly my 15" Macbook Pro. I called the police immediately and they came out and did the standard police thing, but as I've been in contact with them lately, they say they have no leads and I'm not going to get my stuff back, bottom line. Now I'm left with no computer to work with and worst of all, I know I'll never get the things back that were important to me on that computer. I had pictures on it from when I was 10 years old and I'll never see them again. I worked really hard to save the money to buy those things and they are all gone in an instant. I just can't believe it. I have no one else to turn to and I just don't know what else I can do. I'm getting married soon and I can't afford to go buy a new laptop, to be honest at this point that's all I care about as far as what was stolen. If anyone knows any way to track a laptop or xbox 360 it would be appreciated. I know its a long shot.

Jan 19, 2009I know cross-posting is uncool, but I posted this in the iPod forum yesterday with no answer, and it's time-sensitive. Sorry. I'm prepping my iPod for a long flight (18hrs round-trip). Last time I flew, a bunch of my dialogue-heavy videos were too hard to hear over the white noise of the airplane, to my frustration.So I want to amplify the volume on a bunch of videos, some in avi format, others already compressed mp4's.I tried changing the volume using QT Pro and re-saving, and running them through Handbrake with the DRC cranked. Neither worked.This isn't brain surgery, but it's beyond my powers of the google. Bonus points if it can be automated & queued, as I have about 5 TV seasons I'd like to do.

A lot of times I have a set or other 1 hour - mp3's in my itunes, but I sometimes like to fast forward to certain songs in my car....car fast forward is not as good as itunes fast forward so it sometimes takes forever....it would be nice if we could place track markers in itunes then that info is saved in the mp3 or something....so that when playing fro my iphone i can just fast forward to those markers.....know what i mean?
..it would be ncie to be able to do htis without splitting the original long mp3 into a bunch of small ones...

Whenever I start or restart my computer, the keyboard and track pad click are unresponsive at the login/password screen. The computer recognizes them and eventually enters them but the delay is almost 2 minutes long! I have logged out without restarting and I do not have this issue. I have tired repairing permissions, and resetting PRAM. I am thinking about an Archive and Install.

Feb 13, 2010I recorded a single track on GarageBand, and I can only get the audio to come out of the left speaker. There is no sound of any kind coming out of the right speaker. If I pan the track all the way to the right, no sound comes out at all.
