OS X :: Aqua Extreme Scroll Bars Back In Snow Leopard

I've long used Max Rudberg's Aqua Extreme scrollbars and progress bars in Jaguar, Panther, Tiger and Leopard and now I have them working perfectly in Snow Leopard!
All you need is your custom Extras.rsrc and Extras2.rsrc files from your Leopard backup (you made a backup right?) and copy the files to:

At first I didn't think this worked because in Leopard, in order to see the new theme changes, you only had to re-launch an app, but it Snow Leopard you have to do a full log out and log back in
Suddenly I can't scroll down using my aqua scroll bar. I can scroll up just fine. This is true whether I'm in Firefox, Safari, or any sort of document-making applications. System preferences is set to 'scroll horizontally and vertically.' It's not the end of the world, but it's klunky and annoying. Could someone please remind me of something very obvious that I'm obviously doing wrong?
After this 10.6 update I haven't been able to click in the scroll bars in iTunes to jump positions in the window. I have to use the arrows or trackpad/mouse scrolling. It's a small thing, but I have a lot of playlists and it's really annoying. I haven't had this problem with any other software. I'm running OS 10.6.8 on a Macbook Pro.
where suddenly all apps scrollbars turns black and the mouse/keyboard hangs for a few second then they reappears and mouse/keyboard are working again. Here's a screenshot of what it looks like when scrollbars are going black: URL....At first it was doing it about 1 time every 5 minutes but now it has become literally unworkable as it hangs every 20-30 seconds.
Is there any way to scroll through the font types in TextEdit? When I go to Format>Fonts>Show Fonts and press the up and down arrows I cannot scroll through the fonts. I have to use the trackpad.

My trackpad won't allow me to scroll properly, it moves on its own, opens random files, and creates folders on my desktop. I have tried cleaning my trackpad, but it is still not working properly.
I was wondering if it's possible to install Leopard without any of the OS X UI, simply the terminal? I know this may seem really useless but I have my iBook G4 that's been completely useless for the past year and I thought I'd try to do something with it... maybe use it to stream music or something.
Installed Snow Leopard on Friday, and I'm only having one problem: Firefox is ignoring the scroll wheel on my Logitech LX3 Optical Mouse. The OS and all other apps seem to be fine. I followed a tip on [URL] to reinstall the Logitech Control Center, but it didn't fix the problem. I plugged in my Mighty Mouse, but it won't scroll either. I can scroll inside a textarea, but not the main Firefox window. Scrolling worked fine before the Snow Leopard upgrade.
I always used the upwards four finger scroll to get to the desktop but after installing Snow Leopard it doesn't work, they hide but then pop back straight away or go into expose mode. Is this a known problem?
I was wondering if there was a way to enable scroll button click scrolling in Safari 4 on Snow Leopard?
I'm sure there's a proper term for it, but what I mean is when you press down on the scroll wheel and a circle appears on screen with two arrows, when you move your mouse up or down it allows you to scroll through long documents quicker. I think Firefox and Internet Explorer have it.
I read that USB Overdrive might be of use, but it wont recognise my mouse (Logitech MX 620).
so i installed windows 7 on bootcamp, i noticed that the keyboard backlight keys to adjust the keyboard backlight arent working. then i switched over to the mac os, and it also stopped working there!
whenever i press the keys, the transparent box shows up but the bars do not move, it is currently off, and it also has that crossed out circle symbol.
Anyone have any idea of a feature that was originally going to be in Boot Camp, allowing it to switch very quickly between a hibernated version of Windows and a sleeping version of Leopard, is gonna be back for Snow Leopard?
Apparently the feature was dropped before the final version...
This would've been awesome, would love to see it back...
I was just wondering, in preparation of Snow Leopard, what would be the best way to backup? Should I restore from a TM backup, or should I copy my files and data to a external hard drive and then put it back on my computer?
My Mighty Mouse is connected to my Mini along with the Alum Wireless Keyboard and everything works fine except: When I scroll down with the trackball (websites/finder windows/anything) the mouse will then not allow me to scroll back up which is ruining my MacRumours experience
I recently bought the Mac Box Set for Snow Leopard and I was wondering if I should back up my computer first or if it's safe enough to just go ahead and upgrade? Would everything disappear, like iTunes, iPhoto, etc?
Can someone help me back up my computer on my Seagate GoFlex? I have backed it up before, but am not sure now what to do to just update the most recent changes.
Is it OK to just use my original Snow Leopard disc to reinstall SL or is it more complex ? I have upgraded to Lion but am having some problems with some software just not liking Lion.
Is there an easy way for a novice to remove 10.6.8 and get back 10.6.7? It's just making the fans work over time now, and it was pretty silent with 10.6.7. It's getting on my nerves.
I have a LARGE database in Apple Works. I need to get the in a different format.....I cannot open it in Lion. How do I go back to Snow Leopard, just for that task. WIll I loose stuff (I have only been running Lion for a few days....so I gave not created much on it.) I'm mostly concerned about pictures
Wanted to love Lion--hate it. I cannot run many of my programs for my students that I have invested a lot of money into because"Power PC Applications are not supported." Also, my students are network users--every time they log in to the network at a different computer, they have to reenter the iWork SN. It's a nightmare for a teacher with 300 students to help.I want to take my new iMacs running 10.7.3 and back them down to any version of Snow Leopard I can get them to. I can't clone them with Migration Assistant--the iMac running Lion just will not start with the older OS.
Is it possible to go back to using a previous version of OS X once I've upgraded to 10.7 without doing a new install? My daughter wants to use a game (Roller Coaster Tycoon 3) that won't run on 10.7 based on reviews on Amazon.
I have had Snow Leopard for a while now but recently I realised that there was one feature I didn't seem to have....and that is put away. It just does not show in the right click menu on any of my items in my trash. Option clicking the file also does not show this menu.
Why doesn't Lion have the back and up like it used to be in Snow Leopard, its very usefull and keeps you on track rather pressing < command + { >. What is an alternative?
