My 'right-click' window has become huge and unwieldy because of a Canon website link at the end that I can't find a way to get rid of (see attached image).
How do I remove or shorten this link (I'd prefer to totally remove it)?
Can anyone explain how this might have happened?
I have a Macbook Pro 13" I also have an apple TV which I want to control from the laptop.
If I can get to the bottom of the window then I can select "multiple speakers" and control the Apple TV.
When I drag the window as high as possible I still con not get to the bottom of the ITunes window.
The newest version of iTunes is taking up my whole screen but I can no longer find the little red/green buttons to make it smaller. I can't even minimize it with Command-M. I tried a force quit and restart of iTunes, but same thing. Â

View 3 Replies View RelatedMy 2 1/2 yr. old granddaughter has once again gotten a hold of my keyboard. I have managed to resize the browser window. Trouble is all of the text is so large that in an open window I have to scroll side to side to view the whole page. The text is also slightly blurry.

Whenever I open Safari and click the green orb instead of resizing the window it just makes the window go behind and underneath the dock, and if I click the green orb again it resizes it correctly, but the same thing happens again if I close and then open Safari..I have a late 2011 MacBook Pro... just in case it makes a difference.

When I click on any website for anything....I have another tab or window popping up which has nothing to do with the original website that I am on. Why is this so? This is beginning to be real irritating. Secondly I also get this annoying video streaming alongside on youtube.

View 5 Replies View RelatedJust recently Finder has stopped behaving as it normally would. Clicking the icon doesn't seem to launch the finder window. I have to right click the finder icon and then click New Finder Window. Sometimes there is no response for sometime and then finally it does open a window. If I click finder when a window is open it does not shift focus to finder anymore.

Now every time I click something on a webpage I get a pop up for Facebook sign up or a MacKeeper window. Also getting weird double underlines under my usual links and it goes to adds for random websites.

I love Safari's Reader function...I just wish it took up a wider portion of the screen.Currently, the text itself, not including the margins of the "paper", takes up less than 50% of the screen width.

I start Microsoft Entourage, the software opens at least 17 windows and sometimes more.When I click on the upper section of a window in Safari, or Word, the window folds to the dock and when I click on a word, the entire word is selected.

Is it possible to adjust the default width of columns in Finder? As you can see from the attached screenshot, almost all of my file names are too long to fit in the column, and I have to continually resize the width of the column to show everything.

View 7 Replies View RelatedWhen view folder through finder and bumping up the size of the icons it makes the window wider so I need to use the horizontal scroll bar to see all the items. This really does not make much sense and I would rather have what it does in iPhoto, the images get bigger and it just pumps the list down (makes the vertical scroll longer etc.). View 3 Replies View RelatedI had to dissassemble my wireless Mighty Mouse to clean it properly, as the trackball was unable to scroll up and down. As I had cleaned the trackball, I attached the two internal cables to their respective "slots" again and assembled the mouse.
Now my right button does the same as the left button (right click = left click). I tried dissassembling the mouse again, but I cannot see what I could have done wrong. After all, there are only two cables to attach and de-attach inside it.
I just bought a mighty mouse, happy as I was, plugged it in and started my ibook running OS X 10.3.9.I know the mighty mouse shouldn't have full functionality (as the software delivered with it is >10.4.2).The problem is that the right click doesn't work right. When I try to right click it sometimes takes the right click, sometimes takes it as a left click (which is extremely annoying in firefox or finder).
I have SteerMouse (I'm a windows/linux user too) installed but when I de�nstalled it the problem remained.
When I plugged the mighty mouse in my pc (at that time running windows) right click just worked.When using a cheap mouse (from pleomax) the right click on the ibook (with Steermouse installed) works all the time.
I find this al really confusing. Seems like it can't be the hardware because it works on windows, but it can't be the software because another mouse does work.
I noticed that when right clicking at the total right side near the "expose-button" (not a position my fingers lay naturally) right click works all the time. I don't hope this is normal?
I'll try and click on a link and nothing, then I click bookmrks in the menu bar, it works, then i can go back and be to click on the link and it'll work.

You can click as much as you want in preferences and still after restart its coming back to defoult...I hate when my screen goes dark when power adapter is on. Anyone have this issue???
