Now every time I click something on a webpage I get a pop up for Facebook sign up or a MacKeeper window. Also getting weird double underlines under my usual links and it goes to adds for random websites.

I am having MacKeeper popup on my browser every time a new tab opens practically. Tune Up my Mac is also coming up occasionally as well as something called Mac Booster (I think?). I have notifications saying "congratulations you're a winner" and other spam of that sort and I have already moved all of the extensions on my google chrome setting and I am just not sure how to stop these...

I had a MacKeeper icon pop up on my dashboard and my screen tell me I needed to get this to clean up my Mac Pro and protect it from viruses. It looked legit because I wondered how it got onto my dashboard. I installed it but when I moved through the steps it then listed a price which I thought was suspicious. When I googled it many responses said it was a fraud. What can any of you in the community tell me about MacKeeper. If it's a fraud, how do I uninstall it. I tried dropping it in the trash, but it popped out.

I'm devastated, my infallible Macbook has now shown not to be all that infallible! My problem is a pop-up window saying: "Popup blocking software has prevented display of the Trend Micro Security Services dashboard. Open an Internet Explorer window and enter url in the address box: [URL]. That first only popped up when I visited a new page (any page) but now it won't go away at all and I cant visit any page since it keeps popping up again and again and prevents other pages to load. (I'm writing this from my old PC). I normally use Safari but when I tried Explorer and Mozilla the same thing happened. I haven't installed anything from Trend Micro. I have recently moved to a new house where I share the router with my landlords downstairs.

I still get these random blank pages that turn into adds for mac keeper or mix and it pops up almost every time i want to click something it really bothers me because i have to constantly close it. i have tried re-downloading it but it still wont work.

Ok, so there was this application I've never used but it keeps saying "You do not have permission to use the application "uHD-uninstall-Agent".....and so forth. I click Ok but the pop up keeps popping up and interrupting everything I do. I went to login items to remove it from startup but it still won't stop. I'm having issues when trying to click on a link on a webpage or pop up. Firefox and Safari are not registering when I click on a link or button. I've only been using a Mac for only about 5 days now so I don't know all the settings and what they do.
Also this was working two days ago. If there something I disabled or enabled, how can I fix it or re-trace my steps. I need this to download PSD's for my artwork.
I have in the past when entering a password clicked "SAVE" when the auto save password window would pop up. Now I notice that passwords get changed, and the original password is automatically inserted when it is no longer correct. How can you reenter a correct password in this situation?

After updating my itunes to the latest version [11.2.1 (1)], i keep getting this pop-up window (the obscured gibberish is my email address):Â
Not only is it annoying and locks me from using itunes until i hit the 'sync' button, it also prevents me from updating podcasts. it just keeps popping up over and over.Â

Whenever I open Safari and click the green orb instead of resizing the window it just makes the window go behind and underneath the dock, and if I click the green orb again it resizes it correctly, but the same thing happens again if I close and then open Safari..I have a late 2011 MacBook Pro... just in case it makes a difference.

I have to right click the finder icon and then click New Finder Window. Sometimes there is no response for sometime and then finally it does open a window. If I click finder when a window is open it does not shift focus to finder anymore.

It tells me that to keep my mac safe or whatever, I have to install this mackeeper thing. I knew it was a virus so I was trying to figure out how to close it but there is no option to close it, the only option is to click ok. i've tried command+w and that doesn't work either. I have also tried to force quit safari but when I open up safari again, it re-opens the tab. i got my macbook in january of this year, i really don't want it to get a virus lol.
