my problem is that everytime after pressing enter to send the message, i have to use my mouse to click in the typing box again to continue the conversation.
this problem has just occurred for two days. before that, this program was working very well.
Bit of a strange one to describe this, but I tried to send a message to a lot of recipients and it wouldn't send (I used the wrong server). Now I have an error message that falls off the bottom of the screen and I can't clear it.

My native language is Spanish and I use the Spanish ISO layout in my computer keyboards; anyway, my new macbook has an English keyboard and, though I changed the keyboard layout to be used as a Spanish one, I did not find a way to enter the backslash. The other characters [including � and accented vowels are working properly].
Do you know what key combination must I press to enter the backslash?
I have a Mac AIR Book with a French keypad (laptop purchased in France). The tab key is at the left end of the keyboard, next to the "A" key and below #,@,1,&. I unintentionally send/launch an e-mail when I (unintentionally) press the Tab key and then press Enter. This usually occurs when I don't press down squarely on the A key, thus pressing both the A and Tab keys virtually simultaneously, and then press Enter. I do not see in system preferences (keyboard) that "tab+Enter" is a shortcut, and I seek your advice on whether I can change the response of the laptop to the simultaneous pressing of those two keys. I use Yahoo mail, but I do not know if that matters.

everything in my msn messenger works fine until I start having a conversation with someone. After I send a message I need to click on the message area every time I want to respond.
It gets pretty frustrating. I was thinking it might have something to do with the safari 4 beta? Just wondering if anybody knows what might be wrong.

Everytime I wake my computer from sleep, I get a pop-up message asking me to re-enter my password for my iCloud account. I click "remember this password in my keychain" and hit okay, but it still asks me every single time. What gives?

I cannot enter the time machine when I press the time machine icon. I press and nothing happens, so I'm not sure even if it is backing up at this point. When i go to my Tme Capsule it has the folder there for back-ups and the most recent, but no access from the icon.

She doesnt remember ever setting a "keychain" password, and tried to type in the password that she uses to log into her macbook, but apparently it's not the same password. What can I do to get rid of this if she doesn't know the password? Can I delete and then reinstall Safari? Do I need to reformat and install the entire OSX? Should I just use Firefox and forget about Safari?

I went on the HP support network, which gave me a solution that sometimes works and sometimes doesn't, plus in the past I never had to take all the extra steps to scan a photo. The HP support site claims that upgrades for HP Printer devices was included with Snow Leopard. So why can't I just press the scan button like I used to?

Usually when this happens and the error box pops up I just choose another server. The problem is that the email was going to a whole list of people and the options are lost at the bottom of the screen. I can't access the buttons. I click 'connection doctor' and it always confirms that everything is fine. If I then try to send the email again it will send it straight away, but if I try to send another in 10 minutes time, then I'll probably have to go through the same procedure again. I've never been unable to send mail, but having to launch connection doctor most of the time gets tiresome. I've been unable to trouble-shoot as its occurence appears to be random.

View 2 Replies View RelatedI have an Intel based iMac 20". I had a different problem. I installed Windows XP using bootcamp. After installation. To give it a try I just put Vista DVD (I have vista DVD also, but it is damaged.) into drive. After loading boot files vista installation asked me to reboot the machine. Here I got the problem, as the dvd is damaged, it is unable to proceed further, I am able to see only a blinking cursor for ever. I wanted to eject the DVD and boot either from Mac OSX or WindowsXP (Which is previously installed and working fine). I have wireless keyboard and mouse and I am unable to enter boot options anyway.

I have some mobile contacts, however if they are offline and I want to send them an offline message when I click on their name it starts sending them a mobile message. I want to send them an offline message, I was wondering how to just send them an offline message, when I right click it just shows, "send mobile message" or "initiate group convo". I want to do this because I was trying to message someone the other day and I Was talking away thinking it was an offline message and they messaged and said I was im'ing to their phone.
Anyone know how to just send an offline message?
I cannot send email (using Entourage and Safari). I get an error message -23016. I have the same system at work and have no problem, just at home.
