A few weeks ago my computer had lost the connection to the wireless internet. I set it up again and was able to connect to the internet, however since then I've been receiving an error message "Could not find a PPPoE Server." I went back into Preferences and unchecked the PPPoE server option but the error message still pops up.

View 7 Replies View Relatedi had to get my screen replaced earlier this year under warranty and ever since then I have been receiving an error message on startup that pops up each time just within 5 minutes or so of logging in, and then lately my lappy has been randomly shutting down The error message states something about some extension vlabkernaladditions.kext not being found and needing to be re-installed or something. I will update this with the exact message on my next startup.Does anybody know anything about this??

If I click on 'Relaunch' it does nothing.
I have reported it, but nothing has changed.
Clicking on 'ignore' makes it go away, but it reappears every time I power up my CPU.

Hey I just picked up the new AEBS and so far I'm liking it. I have istat menus installed and have the network activity showing and since connecting to my AEBS, I am constantly sending 0.1k/sec and receiving 0.3k/sec. Anyone happen to know why? It's happening on my laptop and iMac so I'm sure it's supposed to happen but the OCD in me has to know why lol. Seems like the AEBS keeps sending out data to my modem too because the ethernet light on my modem never stops now.

My mackbook air keeps telling me that my start up disk is full. I delete items daily but keep receiving the same message. I have found that the problem may be that items are being saved in multiple areas on my computer. I don't know why this is happening and so I don't really know which copies to delete and which to save.It this point I cant even get software updates or compress files since there is not enough space available at this time.

Mail on our leopard server suddenly stopped recieving extrnal mail about a month ago then around 2 weeks ago stopped receiving anything internally. When i telnet in it tells me the user is not enabled even though in server admin and WGM say it is. I have tried building a new server, ive had the mx records checked, the router and line checked, and the dns on the server is working fine.

I am migrating my mail and archive folders from Mail to iCloud. I moved 20+ folders and over 8k messages with no problem by dragging and dropping the folder from 'On my mac' section to 'iCloud' section in Mail. The last two folders were the largest with over 1.5k in each folder. Over 1200 of the messages in each went in to iCloud without a hitch. Then I got this error:
The IMAP command “APPEND” (to [mail box name]) failed with server error: Message contains NUL characters.
There are 149 messages left in one folder and 203 in another folder. Try as I might, it will not work. I tried Rebuild mailbox option in menu and exported to Mail and mbox format and then re-importing. Still does not work.
Having some mail issues lately with my gmail account Imap set up. I can receive mail but when trying to send mail it pops up with the following: "Can not send message using the server [URL]" I tried deleting the gmail account on my iMac and setting it up again. in the set up It gives me two choices as an outgoing server: [URL] and just Gmail.If I choose Gmail I can send the messages, but is this secure? I've always used [URL] for outgoing without any problems.

All of a sudden, mail.app is malfunctioning. Receiving activity bar gets as far as 9 of 75 and stops.Server shows all mail is there, but not receiving into mail program for days now. Leopard, imac G5. Settings haven't changed. Tried taking offline briefly to refresh, but didn't fix.Rebuild failed to correct. Stopped time machine briefly, no help there. The downloadable theme gallery won't show as well. This same message appears if I try to search for any themes and appears every time I type a letter or two into the search bar in the application. Is there any way to fix this? I have tried re-installation but it doesn't work.

I have had numerous weird sent items that come back as undeliverable to people not in my contacts. When i try to log in it tells me that my password is incorrect. I tried to check on webmail and CB is saying they have locked my account for suspicous activity and i should remove the " virus" and they will reopen my account. I thought that macs did not get viruses.
