Oct 19, 2010Being as ferociously excited as I am about this (and I know a lot of you are too), anyone know of any news of a live stream for this?
Apple had one for their media event in September where they unveiled their new iPods but I can't remember how far in advance they announced that there'd be a stream. The stream quality for that was terrific, I hope they repeat this.

QuickTime :: Can't Watch Video On Apple Web Site?
Jun 12, 2012I've never had any success in watching videos posted on Apple's web site. All I ever get is a QuickTime icon, controls and what I assume is a loading bar flashing back and forth like Kitt's lightbar from Knight Rider! It will never start playing anything. I'm at work and on a Windows 7 x64 workstation. I've tried Firefox v13, IE9 and Safari v5.1.7 using QuickTime 7.7.1. Here is a screen shot of what I see..

The Console Log reports the following error. Â
Mail: [<MailApp 0x7fd6a9e009a0> setValue:forUndefinedKey:]: this class is not key value coding-compliant for the key newMailSound. The Mail Applescript property "new mail sound" appears not to be recognized correctly. I do not have any Mail plugins. Several additional sounds have been added to the system sound set. Mail reports no problems using them.Â
Under Snow Leopard, I used the same Applescripts (fired off by iCal) which turned on/off Mail's New Mail Sound depending on the time of day, i.e. I set the new mail sound to be "Silent Alert" in the evening and restored it to my default new mail alert in the morning. Any guidance as to what might be wrong and how to solve this problem would be very welcome. Â

I recently upgraded to Snow Leopard.Before the upgrade, whenever I plugged the mac into the hdmi port the computer's desktop would appear on the TV; now I get nothing. What am I doing wrong?

There's also 4 finger tap to select an app in the application switcher.But no 3 finger tap! It would work beautifully for me if bound to be a middle-click event. I cannot find ANY mention of this, anywhere. The only results I can find are mentions of the bootcamp XP issue with two-finger taps.So here's my question: Is there any way to expose a 3-finger tap as another event?

Mar 30, 2012I'm trying to fix an issue I had for a while with a automator script I want to use. I added several things it should do, test it, and it works fine. I use it usually as an workflow. But I tried to implement it through an iCal event! Which does not work. (and I checked already in preferences if the turn off all iCal alarms is unchecked) I the workflow basically to open when I first fire up the MacBook, but only once, not when I start it up again later n the day. So I thought about adding the workflow to the startup, but that would open it every time I start my MacBook. How can I get around that? By a iCal event? If yes, how can I fix it, that it starts not at a specific time (I don't start my computer at the same time every day) but when I first open it.
