Aug 27, 2014I just finish update my MacBook Air to Maverick and it turned off to restart. But it did not. When you try to turn it on it shows you Apple logo, seems like loading and after few seconds it turns off automatically.

I ran the installer and selected the external ssd and it seemed to go alright until my computer restarted. Nov 9, 2010I accidentally double-clicked on a file named "Domain" which was really a backup file of my Site. My problem is that I had backed up my site a long time ago, after which i have made many changes. Now when I open iWeb it takes me back to the original days of the site. I still have the desired folder in "Sites", but can seem to get in onto iWeb. Is there any way to put my latest site back onto iweb?
I haven't setup time machine, I publish using Easy iWeb Publisher, I don't have have a Mobileme account

Aug 27, 2014Just a couple days ago keep in dock no longer works. Rebooting resets everything. I tried deleting the preferences file for dock, no luck. Same problem. I tried restoring it from an earlier time. No luck. Still does not work. I am using the latest versions of everything. Oh, and yes I use and have tried and checked antivirus programs. No virus. I've tried removing them. Still doesn't work.

Final Cut Pro X :: Quick Video Edit (trimming) On OS X Maverick
Jun 3, 2014I use a Sony Nex5n to record in 50i. The videos used to be seen on my OSX as mts files, now it is a package called AVCHD.
I move the .mts files out of the package and import them to Premier/FCP/iMovie.
Many times only half of the videos is useful, therefore today I was looking for a software that can do some quick editing, mainly trimming.
Apart from Quick time I couldn't find any, quicktime doesn't play mts, but I can open the AVCHD pack and save the trimmed files separately.
The quick way to do this is buy saving the trimmed file into quicktime movie. The size of the file is just a bit less than the mts file.
Question: Does this effect the quality of the movies in any way or is it as good as the originals?
