Recently I bought a Macbook Pro 15 inch 2.3Ghz intel core i7.
Since I bought this machine I cant see some images in any browser (safari, chrome, firefox) in some websites. I have tried in different machines and the images in these websites are there but in my computer the images links appera as broken and it becomes anoying. I have cleared the cache memory, erased history, cookies and nothing seem to work.
This is my business website and I cant see the logo on the top left or the cart image in the top right. This is what I see using chrome safari or firefox [URL] ....

View 6 Replies View RelatedSince I upgraded to Snow Leopard, I've been noticing that Preview does not display images. A box will open and the background will be there, but no picture. I can scan images, and the automatic preview image that pops up is blank. I can download images from the internet, and they will appear as icons on my desktop, but when I double click them I get an appropriately sized blank Preview box. I can save the image to a thumb drive and put it on my girlfriend's computer (we run identical iMacs, for reference), and it will appear on her computer, but she is using the Adobe suite.

Say for example, I put in my email accounts and protocols on Imail. What will happen if I decided to check my email on another computer?
Will putting your mail account on Imail cause any conflicts getting mail via the web.
So say when you sync your mail from your email account, does it save backups of those mail on the web server for say Hotmail or Yahoo?
I've noticed that finder, automatically saves unnecessary spam images and mixes them in with my important images, is there someway of either adding a spam label, to them, so they end up in another folder, or completely stopping the saving process entirely?
View 7 Replies View RelatedWhen I receive a jpg (not a jpeg) from a mac via email it wont open in either outlook or picture viewer etc (win xp). But if the same image is sent to any other PC (from the ma user) it opens OK.The added twist. If another pc user opens (which it does with no issues) then closes and sends back to the failing pc it opens with no issues!
I am very confused as to whether or not I should use the iMail that came with my MacBook.
1) Is it always free?
2) Is it SAFE? Even though I hear people cannot hack or get into Apples I have to ask
3) What type of file does it download the mail as and is it compatible with PC?
4) Is there any impact on the online Gmail account?
iMail is able to download messages just fine in my home network however, when ever I am over a public network, eg library, sb, etc, it doesn't load. I still have access to the mail within iMail but can't download or send anything?

View 4 Replies View RelatediMail as I have been having issues w/ password prompts. I had found it works better w/ Chrome than Firefox, but am not using either currently due to other issues. I am using Safari. I get the password prompt when trying to send out an email. My Mac is a Macbook Pro mid-2009 model. My primary mail is Google.

View 7 Replies View RelatedI am new to Apple. I would like to set up folders in iMail like I had in Outlook. In fact, I converted my folders to iMail and they are 'On my Mac." I tried to drag them to the accounts where I want them, but it won't work. Any suggestions?

I switched to a MacBook Pro 3 months ago from using WXP with Outlook 2003.
I need to be able to hold my outgoing mail rather then sending it immediately. In Outlook I could set it to stay in the outbox until I was ready to send it.
I'd also like to have the "capitalize the first word of each sentence" feature that Word edit would do in Outlook.
I am presuming neither of these features are in iMail so my question is: Do I need to buy Outlook for Mac or Office for Mac to get these 2 features?
Somehow, I accidentally removed the Preview Pane in iMail. How do I get it back?
View 4 Replies View RelatedSo im about 3 and 1/2 months new to my Macbook. I tried to get a .mac email address in iMail. And it just wont let me make one. I followed all the instructions and nothing happened.
View 8 Replies View RelatedIn the last six hours, I received hundred of spam emails. The iMail on my Macbook Pro is just receiving these emails and I can't figure out how to stop them. I even don't receive emails from anyone (or I am not sure if I am receiving them because I select all emails and delete them).
I tried to check iMail preferences hoping that I can find something but nothing has happened.
I have experienced some problems with my email account recently which I think it is a spam attack. I've been receiving lots of spam messages and got my all messages in my inbox deleted. Sent items luckily are still there.
I wonder if there is anyway that iMail keeps copies of incoming messages so I can restore them. I would appreciate if anyone can tell me how to do that if its available.
Does anyone know the (URL) IMAP settings for mail 4.2. Can't get it to work.
View 3 Replies View RelatedI'm new to this blog, and hope I've found the right threat to post my question. I downloaded OmniSweep and yes, accidentally deleted iMail, and probably a few other files that I thought were indicated "unnecessary" files. I inserted my OS X disc, but iMail isn't on there. I also downloaded Postbox from Apple, but it's only a demo. Any idea how I can get iMail back?
