I wanted to create a separate Icloud account to just use Ical as a way to sync a calendar among several people in my small business.Is there a way to be signed in to two icloud accounts on the same device: Macbook Air, iphone, etc?

I'm new to this site . anyway, when I log out of gmail and want to sign in on a different gmail account, the area where one usually types the username is always filled with the original account and I cannot edit the box containing the username. there is a button that says "Sign in as different user". (this is all on safari by the way). When i click the "sign in as different user" it just refreshes the page and my original email is still in the username box. the same thing happens with youtube. my only solution to this problem is clearing all my cookies, but as soon as i log in again it happens again. what is my next move?

I have been trying to download Cloud 1.I put my Apple ID and Password in.It didn't take.I changed my password and it still didn't take.Also, when I tried to download mobile me, it wanted my 'member name and ID'.Is that separate? All I want to do, actually , is sink my contacts in Yahoo to gmail on safari.I was able to do that on Mail in Mac, but not on Safari.

I received a new Macbook Air from my workplace. I'm trying to sign in to iCloud to import Contacts, Bookmarks, etc.
When I try to sign in under System Preferences > iCloud or under System Preferences > Mail, Contacts, and Calendars, I get the same message saying "You can't sign in at this time. Try signing in again."

iCloud is not signing in on my mac, though it was working before. iCloud now refuses to verify my email, or says try later. It is not working for 3 weeks now. iCloud on iPhone, iPad and online is working perfectly.

I've recently installed Lion and moved to iCloud. I have iCal set up with iCloud and it syncs with my iPad.In the iCloud System Prefs Pane, which I'd not looked at before, I have Calendars ticked, but when I click on Sign Out, I get a message telling me: "If you stop using iCloud for Calendars and Reminders, calendars and reminders stored in iCloud will be removed from this Mac."This seems to me to indicate that the message generator can't see my tick next to Calendars. Or is it that one isn't meant to sign out in this Pref Pane.?
View 1 Replies View RelatedWriting this on behalf of my dad who is not that technical, he is the one having this problem. First he noticed that mail in his the mail.app was not working. He then tried logging into iCloud on the web but could not. He has one Apple ID which won't allow you to login anywhere, not iCloud, nor even this Apple Support Page.The Apple ID and password are definately correct and have never been changed. We have tried going to [url] to reset the password. After entering the Apple ID and hitting next, then selecting the option to answer security questions, first question, date of birth, comes back and says date of birth does not match records. So went back and selected email authentication. It then says that an email has been sent. The problem here is that he cannot access his email to receive the email notification. Mail is not working because of the problem with the account. Also cannot log into iCloud either to receive the email. I don't really want to create a new Apple ID, as this will cause a lot of hassle.Â

I am unable to sign in with my apple id via the system preferences to icloud.I am able to sign in with the same id on the www.icloud.com website but just not able to sign into icloud via the system preferences.Consequently I am unable to access the Appstore to download any app.Any solution to this issue would be highly appriciated.I get the error as "Unable to sign in because of a problem communicating with iCloud".
