I've seen threads for crooked keys before, but thats not necessarily my problem. It is related, right below the letter "E" you can very easily see the LED that lights the letter up. Its really annoying and is the only letter that has this problem. Is there someone to pull off the key and re-adjust it? Or should I just take it to the Apple store and explain it to them?

I've restores the factory settings to the function keys in system preferences, but the problem persists.

I have just installed a new HP6380 all in one for use with my iMac using OS X v.10.5.8. All seems to be working fine except scanning pdf's to preview. Everything looks fine in the scan preview but the finished results in Preview comes in about 20 degrees crooked cutting off the corners of the document. The same thing happens when I scan a pdf to desktop.
View 1 Replies View RelatedI currently have a HP PSC 1210 all-in-one that I purchased in about 2003. I'm pretty torn as to what brand of printer I should purchase. One thing that has always bothered me with my current printer is that whenever I print on paper thicker than standard 20 lb paper, it either goes in crooked, prints off center, or jams. Since I mainly use my home printer to print mailing labels and envelopes. I would prefer a printer which you load the paper in the top and it goes straight through, instead of in the bottom which takes the paper up and around. I like the print quality of Lexmark printers, but I refuse to buy a printer which forces me to change the ink cartridges. Are all Lexmark, Canon, and Brother printers like that? It's the reason why I've always purchased HP. I'm not in need of an all-in-one printer either, or one with a fax machine as I have a stand alone scanner and if I ever need to fax anything I just do it from work.

View 5 Replies View RelatedMy computer began to get some strange errors - It is my MacBook Pro Retina 15" Mid-2012.My keyboard can't write the letters "B" and the danish letter "Å", it the same for both small and capital letter (B/b and Å/å).
But even though my keyboard won't write the two letters, it will still register the key is beefing push.when I sits and write this, it will change the text to bold - like turning the bold format on/off each time I push the B key. The same happens when I just push the left command key, so I can turn the bold text format on/off with my left command key. The right command key can't turn the bold format on/off, either only or with the "right cmd+b" - which for this forum should be the original short cut.
Both of my command keys denies to accept some shortcut like "cmd+t" in Safari to make a new tab. But the "cmd+n" works fine. I have no problem with writing the letter "t" or the "n" in the url address line. What I have tried so far without any result:- Resetting of the system management controller (SMC)
- Updated to Yosemite so I now have OS X 10.10.1
- Of course tried to restart.
- Seen my language hasn't been changed from Danish.

I've been using itunes for a while and it just messed my entire music library up! I've found something that is more Winamp style for me named "Cog". Now my problem is that I want to control it with the F7, F8, F9 keys which are the rewind, play and forward keys, but when pressing any of them it works both on itunes and cog player. How can I disable the Itunes link to it? I want it to control only Cog player.

Running 10.10 Yosemite. Have not had trouble until this morning. Was working in mail and suddenly I could no longer see any emails.I closed out of mail & opened it again, that did not work. It's a second hand, previous generation 13" MBP with 2.54 GHz C2D processor. I checked Networking menu under System Preferences and couldn't find the Airport. Even when I tried to add a new connection, the drop down menu didn't give me the option for Airport. Finally, I checked "about this Mac" page. Airport was listed there but only as software. I am not a technician or an engineer but I can see that there is a hardware problem and she should take the computer to Genius Bar.

I have mbp, OSX 10.7.4. Had to do a restore. Now my springboard icons are invisible. There is a space on the dock where it is, and the discription of what it is, is there, but the icon is invisible. Only a space, which, by the way, will work to to launch me to where it is suppose to. Just can't see it. I tried repair permissions, redownloading lion, and removing "invisible icons" and putting them back. But still the same thing.
