MacBook :: Cannot Download Apps - Product Distribution File Could Not Be Verified

I bought a refurbished MacBook from Micro Centers, with the Leopard operating system on it. I upgraded the memory from 2G to 4Gig. I bought Snow Leopard and upgraded the operating system. Then I bought Lion from The App Store and downloaded it. Everything seems to be working fine except when I try to download Apps from the App Store, I get a warning saying "We could not complete your purchase. The product distribution file could not be verified. It may be damaged or was not signed." I am new to Apple products.
i purchased omnigraffle for my mac pro several months ago. i just recently purchased a macbook pro and would like to have access to that app.Â
when i recently copied omnigraffle from the mac pro to my laptop, i get the dialogue to use licensed, unlicensed, or purchase.Â
then, went to the app store/purchases and the store wouldn't verify my license. i deleted the app as a possible solution to install through the app store. now, i'm getting the response: 'the product distribution file could not be verified'Â
I can't get around the above error trying to download an app. I re-downloaded and installed 10.7.3 and I am still having the issue. I tried downloading a different app (Kindle) and it worked fine but I can't get Windows Phone connector 7 to download. Â
've been trying to update iPhoto for over a month now and every time I try I get an error message saying "The product distribution file could not be verified. It may be damaged or unsigned.)Â I tried to uninstall it tonight and then reinstall but now when I go to the App Store to try to download it, it tells me the same error message except now I can't even redownload the file or anything.Â
While i am trying upgrade the mac os 10.7 to mavericks but i can't upgrade it's shows error "The product distribution file could not be verified. It may be damaged or was not signed".
Is it possible to download OSX on a non-apple product (i.e. Dell's, ASUS's, etc) I was wondering this. And if you could, is it worth it (no crashes, or any other bugs)?
It is impossible to purchase Ultra Ram Disk from the App Store. A pop-up window appears saying, "We could not complete your purchase. The product distribution file could not be verified. It may be damaged or was not signed."
I'm trying to download dashboard widgets for my new MacBook Pro, but I keep getting this message (link below) with EVERY download. Is it just me, or can anyone not download stuff? How do I fix this?

What if Apple starts putting their programs like iWork, iLife, and all of the other semi-small file sized software onto flash drives? That way people who have MBA's could load their software on without using a 99$ superdrive or whatever else. I think that would be cool if companys began to do that with small sized programs, especially now that flash drives are becoming much cheaper.
I've never owned a MacBook or mbp, so I'm not sure about the macbooks in this regard. I know the mbp has the case that helps distribute heat. Does the new macbooks get hot on the bottom like other laptops? Looking to buy one for my wife and she doesn't like how hot some laptops get when on her lap.
Why does Mac OX 10.6.8 keep making copies of a file anytime I download, copy, or move a file? It will copy, dowload or move the file, then begin making copies until I reboot. This makes it impossible to deal wit hfiles unless I want to spend a lot of time rebooting after every time, then deleting all the redundant copies.
I finally got my brother to switch to a Mac. I'm setting everything for him, but I want to know what will happen when I plug his iPhone into his iMac. Will iTunes download all the apps off of his phone or will it delete everything from the phone? I've transfered all his music into itunes on the Mac. Can I just go to the iTunes folder on his PC and copy the apps folder to the Mac iTunes folder?

I am having some issues with my Macbook. It doesn't matter what file it is. Every time I download a .dmg file and it finishes its download and is about to mount, my mac freezes up and a dark screen drops down and tells me to reboot my computer?
Does anyone have any idea what may be causing this problem?
I have never tried downloading using a torrent app but I think I want to try one. I looked at one (can't remember the name) last year but it looked too complicated and had some bad reviews so I dropped that idea. Running Tiger on an intel iMac.

I've just upgraded to Lion and am having trouble downloading some apps (some work just fine). I originally thought it was my internet connection, but it seems stable. Also, my mac meets all of the applications requirements.The first app i'm having trouble with has been paid for, but as soon as I hit 'install', it shows up in the Launchpad for a few seconds, and the status bar doesn't progress. I need to reinstall OS X lion 10.7.4 as instructed by Apple because there is no other way to fix the problem I have. Because I am on wireless and have limited download capacity, I would like to know before hand how large the download for OS X lion 10.7.4 will be. If its larger then my download limit my ISP will slow me down and the download could take days. So the question is How large is OS X lion 10.7.4 to download?
