Dec 1, 2008Is it possible to download OSX on a non-apple product (i.e. Dell's, ASUS's, etc) I was wondering this. And if you could, is it worth it (no crashes, or any other bugs)?

Mar 27, 2012I bought a refurbished MacBook from Micro Centers, with the Leopard operating system on it. I upgraded the memory from 2G to 4Gig. I bought Snow Leopard and upgraded the operating system. Then I bought Lion from The App Store and downloaded it. Everything seems to be working fine except when I try to download Apps from the App Store, I get a warning saying "We could not complete your purchase. The product distribution file could not be verified. It may be damaged or was not signed." I am new to Apple products.

May 24, 2012I bought a 2011 mac mini second hand and would like to update product registration and link lion to my apple id - is this possible? When I first switched on the mac mini I was presented with standard setup screen to choose language, then progressed through setup, including entering my apple id. I thought this would have linked my apple id to lion which is pre-installed, but when I signed into mac app store neither lion or iLife suite show up under purchases.My main concern is that I was planning to upgrade hard drive and I won't be able to install lion to it.

Jun 5, 2012I was having difficulty with a piece of software and instead of force quitting and rebooting I just powered down. When I powered up all I get is a blank white screen with the Apple in the middle and the continuous circle. Computer is very warm as well.

When away I access gmail remotely. (From a non-mac portable PC)
I just turned on my mac at home and it will not find the 10 weks of saved messages on my gmail inbox account.Â
All was well before I left in January and all other programs appear to be working. I have checked the mail preferences and seem to be OK.Â
When I ask for new mail the activity indicator appears to work OK and the wheel goes for a while but no new mail appears in my inbox.

The release, which underwent private testing this week, will tie in a number of other enhancements, most of which have been under constant development as part of the company's WebKit open source application framework since last fall. Jul 1, 2012I have the developers iOS 6 Beta on my iPhone 4s. I need the latest iTunes 10.6.3 to sync with iTunes. I went to www.itunes.com as it told me to and I went to the downloads page. Usually you enter your email and click the download button. My problem is there is is no download button or email box! I need to download the latest iTunes and I can't. I did a software update, but it does include iTunes I tried it on Chrome, Safari, and Firefox, all coming up with the same thing. I am also using a Mac.
