i purchased omnigraffle for my mac pro several months ago. i just recently purchased a macbook pro and would like to have access to that app.Â
when i recently copied omnigraffle from the mac pro to my laptop, i get the dialogue to use licensed, unlicensed, or purchase.Â
then, went to the app store/purchases and the store wouldn't verify my license. i deleted the app as a possible solution to install through the app store. now, i'm getting the response: 'the product distribution file could not be verified'Â

I can't get around the above error trying to download an app. I re-downloaded and installed 10.7.3 and I am still having the issue. I tried downloading a different app (Kindle) and it worked fine but I can't get Windows Phone connector 7 to download. Â

I bought a refurbished MacBook from Micro Centers, with the Leopard operating system on it. I upgraded the memory from 2G to 4Gig. I bought Snow Leopard and upgraded the operating system. Then I bought Lion from The App Store and downloaded it. Everything seems to be working fine except when I try to download Apps from the App Store, I get a warning saying "We could not complete your purchase. The product distribution file could not be verified. It may be damaged or was not signed." I am new to Apple products.

It may be damaged or unsigned.)Â I tried to uninstall it tonight and then reinstall but now when I go to the App Store to try to download it, it tells me the same error message except now I can't even redownload the file or anything.Â

I need to upgrade from OSX 10.7.5 to OSX 10.8.5 in order to use Avid Pro Tools 10 and 11 on the same iMac.
My iMac is 2.5GHz Core i5. Pro Tools 10 will not work on OSX 10.9 and Pro Tools 11 needs 10.8.5 or 10.9.4. Not certified for Yosemite.

I am currently running version 10.7.4 from what I read and what I was able to make out from my serial number I wont be able to upgrade from Lion to Mountain Lion as it says my imac is a late 2006 model.I am just curious if I am able to run Lion why Apple isnt supporting the older models that can? Seems odd to me and it is not in my budget to buy a new mac and my current one is running perfectly. I'm not sure how much I will miss out not having Mountain Lion.

I have an Imac intel OS 10.8.5 By error I clicked on upgrade to Maverick then I realise my mistake and could only click on "pause".
How can I stop the process? Will it affect my OS since it may be partialy over written?Â

I just upgraded from Snow Leopard, installed Mountain Lion, 10.7.3, and with it the recommended iTunes upgrade 10.6.1. It seems to have broken things.Â
If I click to play a song I can get the play window, but it'll be frozen at 0:00. Starting, stopping, dragging the cursor: nothing will make the time advance or music play. This happens with samples of music, purchased songs, video samples. The Console isn't showing any error messages.Â
I've logged out, and back in. I've shut down completely and rebooted. I've check that stuff still plays OK on my iPad.Â
