Applications :: IPhoto Feature For Printing Pictures / Posters

Jan 7, 2010

Where did this feature go? In the previous version of iPhoto, you could select a picture and there was a one-click process for ordering prints and/or posters. Is this feature hiding somewhere? I use it on occasion for posters. I have attached a pic showing the group where the button for the feature used to reside.

Aperture :: 3.6 Slideshow Is Missing Pictures After Export?

Dec 10, 2014

MAC Pro Retina 13 inch Late 2013

MAC OS Yosemite 10.10.1

4GB RAM, 128GB SSD, Intel Iris Graphics

I'm using Aperture 3.6 to create and then export a slideshow to 1080p. When playing back the exported .MOV file, some pictures have randomly disappeared leaving a black background and I've exported to a reduced 720p with random pictures still missing. If the slideshow is previewed in Aperture, all the pictures are OK and none are missing and I get the same export problems using iPhoto to export the slideshows.

So once again my mac has crashed after being backed up by Time Machine.  After restoring the system I have lost pictures from iPhoto.  This isn't the first time I have had this problem and I usually have two back up copies of the pictures, however I have managed to lose some pictures that I need :-(

If I go onto Time Machine the iPhoto Events are black with black photos. fantastic MacBook Pro15-inch, Mid 2010Processor  2.53 GHz Intel Core i5Memory  4 GB 1067 MHz DDR3Graphics  NVIDIA GeForce GT 330M 256 MBSoftware  Mac OS X Lion 10.7.4 (11E53)

Dec 5, 2014

I would like to copy photo(s) from iPhoto (8.1.2) to iPad Air 2 (8.1.1).

When I connect iPad to Macbook (10.6.8) and open iTunes (11.4) and go to photos it says:

"iCloud Photos is on. iPad can access photos in iCloud. Photos can be downloaded to your device via Wi-Fi or cellular network"

How do I sync iPad with iPhoto?

Also there is no option in iTunes to sync photos to iCloud!

MacBook Pro :: How To Move IPhoto From Media Section To Pictures Folder

Jun 4, 2014

My iPhoto (called Photos) resides in the Media section of the finder window unlike the Pictures folder which is grouped in the Favorites section.  The media section does not show up in the regular finder window.  It shows up only when trying to attach a file.  I've tried to drag and drop the Photos folder to drop inside the Pictures folder but it won't.

I'm hoping to reorganize my iPhoto library to an external drive and am having difficulity making sure I'm finding the correct files, etc.

QuickTime :: Will Not Export Videos Imported By IPhoto?

Jun 12, 2012

I just updated to iPhoto '11 version 9.3 so I could import my AVCHD videos. Everything went fine on the iPhoto side. However, when I call up the captured clips in Quicktime, I can't export them. The export options are grayed out. The entire Share menu is grayed out. None of the movies show up in iMovie under the iPhoto Videos either. (Don't know if that's related.) This is a real problem because my camera shots 1080i and I have to deinterlace them. Doing so with Quicktime is the easiest way to both deinterlace them and get them into iTunes all in one step. Quicktime 10.1 (501.22)
