I bought the Mini last week to serve as an HTPC. No keyboard or mouse was going to be needed. I downloaded the AirMouse Pro and Touch Mouse to my iTouch. However, I cannot get them to connect to the Mini when the computer is asleep, and have to attach a regular mouse to wake the computer before being able to use the apps. Do any of y'all have a fix for this?

When I wake up my MBA (re-open lid). I notice for about 5secs I can't use the touchpad, it's inoperable. But after the 5secs it starts working again. This used to be instant then after the Firmware update it does this.

View 5 Replies View Relatedmy air is rev B with SSD. when i open the lid to wake it up from the sleep, the mouse is freezing for couple of seconds and then back to normal.
it's not tthe whole OS freezing i believe, because ical event suddenly appears on the desktop when the mouse is freezing. so it's not the system i guess.
could it be the lack of voltage because of coolbook? but the system is so stable with these new lower voltages settings i applied a week ago.
When the computer goes to sleep, either on its own or if i tell it to, when i wake it up, it does not recognize my mouse or keyboard. The goofy thing is, the mouse will wake it, but it still does not appear to have any input into the machine once OS X is up and running again.

In the middle they mention Bluetooth, and its compatible devices like the Mighty Mouse. But I can't see a scroll ball on the mouse shown... Is this maybe a new (future) Mighty Mouse with �touch� scrolling or something? I would really welcome a new Mighty Mouse, because the scroll ball of today's version is a real shame

View 2 Replies View RelatedSince a few days ago, I've noticed my late-2012 Mac Mini would wake up almost immediately after it goes to sleep. This is the same whether I let the Mac idle to the present sleep time, or if I manually tell the computer to sleep via the Apple menu. In both cases, the Mac would power back up immediately after it went to sleep.Â
I've pretty much ruled out any external devices or drives, and have confirmed that if I disable "Wake for network access" then the problem goes away. However, unchecking that feature won't work because I have Teamviewer and Screen Sharing running and I need to be able to wake it on demand for remote access.Â
I pulled up the power management log and found that everything was working fine until all of a sudden on Dec. 1, I started getting these errors:Â

Swiping left, right, up or down with 4 fingers has no effect (although 3-finger drag in Google maps is working, together with 2-finger scroll).

I recently obtained a Mini which I've connected to my TV for watching movies/etc. I don't have a keyboard or mouse on the Mini.I ripped a disc the other night (via a remote connection) and realized that I don't know how to eject the disc from the Mini without a keyboard, mouse, or remote connection from my MBP. I suppose there is probably some way to script MTR and then execute a disktool afterwards but what if I'm just watching a disc and want to eject it?

I have set up my Intel Mac Mini in the living room to act as an "Apple TV" but every time I start it up it complains that there is no keyboard and mouse connected. I then have to attach a keyboard and mouse before it will continue booting. Is there a way to disable keyboard and mouse completely? Worked great and I have always liked trackballs due to limited desk space required.It has been acting up the last couple of days. New batteries will not help. Reconnecting to the base does not always help. It is just starting to get frustrating.I do not use the Mac Mini very often. I got it originally as my iTunes "server" for my Apple TV. However, I have found it a great companion when doing research for work while I have my work computer doing other things.I have experience with the MBP trackpad since I picked up a new 17" i7 MBP earlier this summer. i'm using a mac mini and also another Windows PC tower. whenever i want to switch between them i need to re-plug in my headphones/keyboard/mouse/display and this is getting annoying. i've been using a usb hub for the mouse and keyboard so it's not as difficult to setup. is there anything out there that'll allow me to switch between them more easily? My mouse cursor is stuck on a spot on my screen. When I move it the pointer springs back to where it was stuck in a second. Can't do anything. Shut the Mini and restarted but still same problem. Cannot get to sys pref to check anything. Running the latest Lion build. Trackpad and wireless keyboard. Also tried with USB mouse with same result.
