Sep 1, 2014After recently updating the Adobe flash player I am finding that pictures posted on Facebook are not visible. Should I delete Adobe and reload it?

If I got the most recent white macbook with an adjustment of the hard drive to 250GB it would have a resolution of 1280x800 does this mean CS4 would not run on a macbook? Does anyone have a macbook with CS4? How is the performance?

Jan 16, 2010It must be some ad blocker or something, but I can't view videos. I can't seem to find what's causing it. I can go to YouTube and watch a video, but when someone posts a link, I am unable to make it play. I'll get a site with a black rectangle where the video is supposed to be. Happens on links from tweets too. Safari and Firefox both. I tried the Flash uninstall/reinstall/disc permission/restart routine twice.

Oct 6, 2009Since upgrading to Snow Leopard, I have been unable to print borderless documents from Pages.app onto plain A4 paper using my Epson R2400. Under page setup, I select A4 > Borderless Sheet Feeder but then under the print window, the option to print on plain paper is greyed out:
If I go back to page setup and change the paper size to non-borderless (e.g. standard A4) I do have the option to print onto plain paper. But of course I loose the borderless printing.
The problem with using the Premium Matte Paper setting for printing borderless is that the printouts are very saturated - obviously the printer is putting down far more ink than required. I am printing onto 350 GSM card and have used this paper for a couple of years with excellent results. Traditionally I was just printing borderless with the plain paper option ticked and the results were perfect.
I followed some advice on the internet on another forum after updating to Snow Leopard and downloaded Printer Driver v6.57 for my printer. I'm told this is the most up-to-date driver currently available and was released in June. But this does not seem to fix my printing issue and the Gutenprint drivers don't seem to support borderless printing on the R2400 either.
I've phoned Epson twice now but their support is hopeless. The first time they emailed me a link to download updated drivers, but this link started downloading a .exe file which evidently was not Mac compatible. The second time I phoned I was past between assistants for a while before receiving the textbook "revert back to Leopard or wait to see if Apple fix the problem in an update" answer.
Are there any R2400 users or others with the same problem or got any solutions? My research on the internet hasn't turned up much other than a similar issue with some Canon printers.

The available paper types listed in the printing options are very limited and don't include options even for the range of papers sold by the printer manufacturer.

Jun 12, 2010When I go to front row, all my video content plays sound, but the picture is just a pure white screen (shows the slider to move chapters, etc., but the screen is just white).
Any ideas for solutions? I did google searches, etc., to no avail. I have a MP (not early 08), which I upgraded the graphics card to a 2600XT, and it's running Leopard.

MacBook :: Paper CD Label Stuck In Superdrive?

The CD itself came out without any problem but the label is still stuck in my superdrive.
Software :: No Paper Tape For Calculator / Updated To 10.5.7
May 16, 2009Having updated to 10.5.7, Calculator no longer displays Paper Tape on my G4. Funnily enough, Save Tape As... still appears in the File Menu.
Okay restarted and it is back, whew! Wish Show Paper Tape were a preference that could be saved, half the time Calculator launches without it, though I never uncheck it.
Intel Mac :: CD And Paper Stuck In Drive
Apr 1, 2012So I didn't pay attention and put a CD into my Intel iMac's CD drive that had a piece of paper stuck to the back of the CD. And now, of course, it won't come out again. I've been through all the advice on here, YouTube, ... you name it and came to the conclusion that a trip to an Apple retailer (no Apple Store here yet) is the only solution.
However, until then, I'd like to disable the CD/DVD drive to keep it from trying so that I can at least use my iMac. I found instructions to remove the IOCDStorageFamily.kext and IODVDStorageFamily.kext kernel extensions, clear the kext cache and reboot. But it's still trying to read or eject the CD, over and over again ...This is a first-generation Aluminum iMac (Mid 2007), running Mac OS X Lion 10.7.3.

I have Parralels 7 and run AutoCAD in ParrallelsÂ
I have a HP Deskject 9800 (USB connected) and an HP Laser Jet Pro CM1415fmw color MFP (wifi connected) all accessable from my MAcBookProÂ
Printing is a hassle from Autocad with my MAC OS. In WinXP, (prior to switching to MAC) I could assign a paper size to each printer in printer set up. Then when printing from AutoCAD I would just select the print I wanted for the paper size and done..... perfect!Â
However, in Mac with Parrallels AutoCAD does not really talk correctly through to the printers on the Mac side. So I have to go into Lion printer settings and change the paper size all the time between tabloid and US letter. I always forget and waste a lot of paper.Â
Looking for a way to set a Lion OS printer to a specific paper size and have it maintain that paper size while a different printer has a differenet paper size, but this doesn't seem possible.Â
Every time I change the paper size in the Lion OS for one printer it changes it for all printers.Â

I have a blog and I want to make it into a magazine. I tried to minimize the screen to take a screenshot and load it manually, page by page, but I can't get the page to zoom out far enough. I don't feel like what I want to do is that unorthodox, yet there doesn't seem to be an easy way to do this. The blog is at rosendude.blogspot.com. Ideally, I'd like each article to be one page and the front page to be the cover.

Jun 27, 2009I have an HP C4480 All-In-One printer. Scanning works, but when I try to print, it gives me a "Paper Size Mismatch" error.
I have chosen different paper sizes (A4, etc), tried different OSes, and
tried different sized paper. Sometimes the printer works, but rarely.
This was not always the case. The printer is only about 6 months old with my macbook, and began having this problem 2 months ago. The ink is brand new, and there's paper.
The problem might be that the paper size sensor is dirty or broken, and I read somewhere that I can physicall disable/remove
this.. or maybe in the software.
