Mar 30, 2012I have an old iBook laptop. I want to move my keychain access passwords from that laptop to my desktop. I tried going to file > Export items in keychain, but it's grayed out. I tried about 10 different items and they were ALL grayed out. Is there a master file in the library (or whever) that I can just copy and paste into my desktop's library? I have nothing oin my desktop keychain, so I don't mind replacing it completely.

Jul 12, 2009I been googling and searching for an answer for this question...and all of them say to go through the router. But I was just wondering if there is a way to block computers from using my wireless? Here is the deal. I have a router set up which uses a WPA password. I live in a apartment building so I gave the password to some of my close friends to use. I monitor who is on my network through just looking at the "shared" section on my finder window. I can tell which computers belong to my friends, but every once in a while, an unknown computer pops up. I believe I have seen 3 unknown computers (PC's) - and they do not use the net frequently. I would like to block these computers when they come up. Is there a way to do this without going into the router settings and adjusting those protocols?

Dec 7, 2010I got this Mac pro with osx. It's a old business computer, so I don't have the login password for the user or administrator. I had this installation CD, and it worked fine when I tried holding "c" down while restarting the computer. But I couldn't fix the problem at the moment so I turned it of again. Now it won't start up as usual with the "Choose language menu" so I can't get access to the computer. I really don't know why it does it, and I'm so lost right now. How do I get access to the computer now, and reset the computer and password?

Mac Pro :: Access Files Even Without Using ITunes The Computer Freezes / Can't Click On Anything?
Jun 30, 2010I have an 08 Mac Pro with a stock apple raid card. 4 2TB WD Green drives make up the raid and I use it for my iTunes library and Aperture Library. I use the extra sata port for my 1 TB Hitachi boot drive which is the one I purchased my Mac Pro with. I have had this setup for nearly if not over a year with no trouble until the past week and a half. The raid utility shows that everything is fine. The battery is good, the raid partition is good, and even when I click through the individual drives in their respective bays it says SMART Verified Status Good. My trouble is this. Anytime I play a song or a tv show, or access files even without using iTunes the computer freezes. I can't click on anything, there is no spinning wheel and I have to manually restart it. When I do restart it the raid volume does not show up in the finder. But when I go to verify disk or repair disk in the disk utility it shows everything is fine. I have to rebuild the volume with diskwarrior and when I use any file off of the volume it freezes. I've replaced the drives and that hasn't helped. So I'm at a loss here.
