Intel Mac :: Chronologically Display Email With Most Recent At Top?
Mar 20, 2012
How do I display my most recent e-mail chronologically at the top on iMac with OS X Lion? I am a somewhat new Mac user and love the mail set up with OS X Lion, but I prefer to have the most chronologically recent emails displayed at the top, vs. at the bottom.
if this is in the wrong section, I couldnt find a specific board to ask this  I do like the twitter app for the mac but just one I would like to change..The twitter app for the iOS when you bring it up it starts about 50 or so tweets (or about 1 hours worth) down and you gradually make your way up to the top and most recent Â
But when I do it for the mac app it just starts at the top and most recent - This might seem a crazy thing to ask but is there a way or another twitter client which starts about halfway down and i can gradually make my way up to the top and most recentÂ

I have an iMac with Lion. Most recent update from Apple had updates to Airport device. After update iMac can't find internet and i have to go through set up for interner each time.
I have a VGA monitor plugged in to my imac using the VGA adapter to the mini-DVI. All was working well. Since I updated over the weekend, the computer will not detect the monitor.Â
I have two photo stream files in the iphoto "recent". For some reason I have "photo stream" & "Jan 2012 photo stream" Would like to get rid of the later.....how?
After recent update I can no longer open my iphoto. (Pop-up window states that it is trying to update, that older versions iphoto will no longer be readable with older versions)After 2 hours of waiting for it to upgrade still no response. What do I do to be able to view iphoto library?
Info: MacBook, Mac OS X (10.7.4), I have an older version of iphoto
My mac just told me to install a security update and restart and I did it because its a security update, but when I logged back in and checked the official list for updates [URL], there are no official security updates for around the 10th of February. What should I do, is this bad? Is it a virus or hack?
Info: iMac (27-inch Late 2009), Mac OS 8.6 or Earlier
I have a MAC OSX 10.5.8, after the recent software update my flash player no longer works.I have read that there is a problem with security for the version of flash that I was using and this is the reason it was disabled. However, I have tried to download the most recent version from the Adobe website, but nothing happens and a message says I already have flash installed on my computer.Â
I have a version of flash in my HD>>Library>>Internet plug-ins, and there is also one in HD>>Library>>Internet plug-ins (Disabled) which I have tried to move but it only lets you copy it and it seems unable to be moved back to HD>>Library>>Plug-ins I have also tried to download the "No Script" addon for Firefox so that I can at least have flash working in Firefox, but that doesn't seem to be downloading either. I cannot now watch videos, listen to my favourite radio stations or even upload pics to ebay to create ebay listings. This problem ruining my internet enjoyment and I just hope that it can be fixed again. How dare Apple just do this without any warning or giving any info on how to easily fix this problem once flash has been disabled.
I just did and automatic update that consisted of about 6 items, now my external hard drive is not even recognized! Long story short, Time Machine can not find my external to do a backup. I have already done all the unplugging and restarting and searching for the disk... Nothing! my external is Lit and seemingly functioning.Â
I've selected Recent Items in Finder Prefs to show 15 apps, documents etc., and it rarely shows more than 2 documents. And those 2 tend to be older files, not what I've been working on that day. I'm on Yosemite on an iMac.
I want to buy the 27" iMac - but only if I can use it as external monitor for my Lenovo laptop when working from home. A the Apple store in London they said that this is possible with a Belkin converter from hdmi to mini display port (with a USB power caple to turn it into an active signal). The laptop also has a displayport.
When I open some, maybe a tenth of my incoming emails, they open in window much wider than my display, like twice display width. Probably happens on mail sent from Windows machines. No other time, in no other application, does anything display beyond normal screen width. Â
I have to scroll WAY OUT right to for example get to the reply button.Â
In Firefox or Chrome. My normal email is gmail. This is not in Apple Mail. This happens in Firefox or Chrome receiving in gmail.Â

I upgraded to Lion about a month ago. I didn't want to, but I had to to switch to iCloud which was the only way I could retain our family's six-year-old @mac.com and @me.com email addresses.Â
After working through a half dozen issues, everything seemed to finally be working smoothly. Just yesterday, though, Mac Mail stopped being able to open my iCloud email. It shows the sender, subject and the first couple lines of text in the listing of emails in the column to the left, but when I click on one or double click on one to view the entire message, I get "Loading" and a never-ending spinning wheel. Â
I have restarted everything, updated software, and repaired disk permissions. I don't want to delete the iCloud account and reinstall it because I have a couple hundred emails stored in folders residing on my machine.Â
My iCloud email works fine with my iPhone, iPad and on iCloud.com. I just can uses Mac Mail. But I access a half dozen other non-Apple email accounts-- POP and IMAP. Ironically, all the non-Apple email accounts work fine on Apple's Mac Mail.Â
I'm sure this is posted somewhere but is there a download to get rid of this virus?Pretty sure I have it on my Mac. While on Safari, it will quit unexpectedly due to .FIFANo.so plugin.
I recently discovered that from a coupon application I could print coupons from my iphone and my ipad. But if I open up an email from either and want to print it, " no printers found" comes up.That does not make sense. How can the printer show up for some things and not others? My HP that came from Apple with my computer shows up on the list of compatible printers.
Just purcahsed a new IMac. my e-mail is coming into mail fine, but how do I add my wife's account, and how do we switch back and forth from accounts.
Our older Mac is still up and working, we used Entourage for that, and I kind of would like to duplicate ithe process in Mail if possible. Still getting mail there too.
