I recently discovered that from a coupon application I could print coupons from my iphone and my ipad. But if I open up an email from either and want to print it, " no printers found" comes up.That does not make sense. How can the printer show up for some things and not others?My HP that came from Apple with my computer shows up on the list of compatible printers.

I want to be able to print single e-mails. In the View menu, 'Organize by Conversation' is checked by default. If I select an e-mail in my inbox, it appears on screen as part of the conversation, but with a gap between individual e-mails*. if I select the particular e-mail in the conversation that I want and go to Print, it prints the whole conversation. If I uncheck 'Organize by Conversation' and select an e-mail in the inbox, it again appears on screen as a part of the conversation, but without a gap between individual e-mails* and if I print, it still prints the whole conversation. * This, too, seems perverse. I would have thought that with 'Organize by Conversation' checked, the conversation should appear onscreen as continuous, whereas it appears with gaps, and, conversely, with 'Organize by Conversation' unchecked it should appear with gaps, whereas in fact it appears without gaps. I then found this:[URL] But nothing seems to work. I tried changing the 'View' setting in Preferences, I tried all the Expand and Collapse options in the View menu and all other options in the View menu, but the printing behaviour remains the same. The only method I have found for printing just part of a conversation is by selecting its text, pasting it into a text document and printing that.

View 2 Replies View RelatedI have recently upgraded from Snow Leopard to Mavericks and am now having problem with my hp 4500 office jet printer. The print icon tends to stay on the dock after the print job is done and then mess up the print queue. Even worse if I forget to cancel it manually then when I put the computer on 'sleep' the printer starts up again and the whole job is rerun unless I get to cancel it quickly on the printer! Â
It does not always do this (the print icon disappearing as it should do), but for 90% of the time it does.Â

I am having issues printing documents I am viewing in Preview.When I press (command P) the File button highlights briefly, but then the print screen does not come up.However, on occasion, it has worked.I have all software up to date and have tried restarting the computer and closing all software.Every other program prints just fine, (for instance, in mail, I can press Command P and it will bring up the print screen as usual).

my imac running 10.5.8 will not print some pdf documents properly. In particular sheet music will only print as horizontal and vertical lines - the symbols and notes do not print. The 'print preview' shows all the symbols and notation correctly.Â

This past week I have had serious problems trying to get my Imac to print to a HP Laserjet 4100. Parallel port to USB.Driver version 18.4 THe Imac is less than a year old and runs on Lion. I have had intermittent problems ongoing but this time it keeps showing messages -Not connected.
Usually when I go into preferences and click hold, on and off a couple of time or delete document and try again it would work OK but this time I have deleted printer, reset printing system etc numerous times and it still does not print.Sometimes when I unplug and re-plug in the USB connection it does not even recognise the printer is plugged in.Â
I have tried connecting the printer to a completely different computer and it appeard to work ok so it does not seem to be the cable at fault. Does anyone have a similar problem and more important does anyone have a solution.

Since the last OS X update (yesterday), I am unable to print any document in Excel or Word (2004 or v11.6.2). The print window does not open. It opens in Excel (2011 or v14.0) or any other app.
